If you have finished the original Solo Leveling manhwa, read its epilogue and post-ending side stories before starting the sequel. Tappytoon’s official English listing marks the epilogue as available, while Yen Press catalogs the original comic’s aftermath as Vol. 14, Side Stories 1, and Vol. 15, Side Stories 2.
After those volumes, continue with Solo Leveling: Ragnarok if you want the next story in the franchise. It is a separate sequel centered on Sung Sooho, Jinwoo’s son, rather than additional chapters of Jinwoo’s original main arc.
What “after the manhwa ends” can mean
Readers use that phrase in two different ways. Some mean the point where the original main conflict concludes. Others mean every comic chapter connected to the original series, including material released after that ending. The distinction matters because the original comic has an epilogue and side stories, and Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is a separate sequel.

The safest order is therefore:
- Finish the original Solo Leveling story.
- Read the original epilogue.
- Read the original side stories in Vol. 14 and Vol. 15.
- Start Solo Leveling: Ragnarok if you want the next-generation story.
This lets you complete Jinwoo’s original storyline and its aftermath before the narrative changes its central character.

Yen Press labels Vol. 14 and Vol. 15 as side-story volumes, so they belong to the original series rather than to Ragnarok. Do not skip them if your goal is to read everything that follows the main ending before moving to the sequel.
Where to read the original epilogue
Tappytoon’s official English listing
Tappytoon’s licensed English Solo Leveling page explicitly carries the label “Epilogue now available.” Use that listing to verify that you are opening the official series page, not a similarly titled upload or an incomplete index.
The listing identifies the credited creators as Chugong, DISCIPLES (REDICE), DUBU (REDICE), and h-goon. Those names are useful checks when several search results appear. Because the page is a licensed edition, episode access, unlock rules, and regional availability are controlled by the platform and can change.

How to confirm you have reached the epilogue
- Open the official English Solo Leveling series listing on Tappytoon.
- Check that the page displays the “Epilogue now available” notice.
- Read the epilogue material shown on that listing before switching to a sequel title.
- Record the last episode you have completed if you also plan to buy collected volumes; digital episode numbering and print volume numbering are not established as one-to-one equivalents in the available publisher listings.

Yen Press catalogs the original comic through Vol. 15 and names Vol. 14 Side Stories 1. This is collected continuation material from the original series, not the beginning of Ragnarok.

Yen Press Vol. 15: Side Stories 2
Vol. 15 is labeled Side Stories 2. Read it after Vol. 14 to complete the side-story collection listed by Yen Press. If you are buying physical books, check the edition information and the current stock status at the retailer because inventory differs by country and changes over time.
Yen Press and Ize Press also provide digital editions for their cataloged books. The publisher’s listings are the best way to distinguish an official collected volume from an unofficial scan or a listing that contains only the main-story volumes.

Tapas lists the Ragnarok comic in English. This is the direct digital route if you want to follow the sequel episode by episode. Tapas’s access model, unlock timing, and regional availability can change, so check the series page for the current options shown on your account.

Yen Press and Ize Press for collected editions
Yen Press lists English print and digital volumes of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. Its Vol. 1 product page includes Amazon among the retailers shown for that edition. Availability, format, price, and delivery depend on your region and on the retailer’s current inventory.
Choose collected volumes if you prefer a complete book, want to read without waiting for episodic releases, or want a physical library. Choose Tapas if you want the digital serial format and the earliest access offered on that platform.
What changes when you start Ragnarok
Ragnarok is not a rebranding of the original manhwa’s final chapters. Yen Press describes it as the sequel to the fantasy novel and comic. Its setup follows Sooho Sung, presented as an apparently ordinary college student whose parents have disappeared. During a monster outbreak, he begins to awaken as a Player.

- New protagonist: the central viewpoint shifts from Sung Jinwoo to his son, Sooho.
- Different starting point: Sooho begins from a comparatively ordinary life before the outbreak and awakening.
- Franchise continuity: the title is connected to the original world, but it is still a sequel series with its own opening situation.
- Expectation management: if you want more immediate Jinwoo aftermath, finish the epilogue and Vol. 14–15 first; if you want a new lead and a new beginning, start Ragnarok after those volumes.
The publisher listings do not establish a chapter-by-chapter equivalence between the original webcomic, its print volumes, and the original novel. Use the official volume and episode labels for the edition you are reading rather than trying to convert numbers from one format to another.
Understanding the current hiatus
Tapas posted a notice dated January 31, 2026: “Season 2 has come to a close and so we will be taking a hiatus before returning with season 3!” The notice thanks readers but does not provide a date for Season 3’s return.
If you are deciding whether to begin now, the practical implications are:
- You can read the English Season 1 and Season 2 material listed on Tapas.
- You should expect the serial to pause after Season 2.
- You should not rely on an unverified return month or year.
- Check the Tapas series notice again when release timing matters to your reading plan.
The hiatus does not change the recommended order. It only affects how much of the sequel is currently available in the digital serial format.

- Complete the collected side stories. Read Yen Press Vol. 14, Side Stories 1, followed by Vol. 15, Side Stories 2.
- Select your sequel format. Open the English Ragnarok listing on Tapas for digital episodes, or use Yen Press/Ize Press volume listings for print or digital books.
- Set expectations about releases. If you choose Tapas, note that its January 31, 2026 notice says Season 2 has ended and Season 3 is on hiatus without a stated return date.

- Jumping straight to Ragnarok: this skips the original epilogue and the two side-story volumes.
- Assuming Vol. 14 and Vol. 15 are sequel volumes: Yen Press labels them as the original comic’s side stories.

For digital reading, confirm that the title is the English listing for Solo Leveling or Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, then review the access method displayed for your account. Some platforms separate free, timed, and paid unlocks, and those rules are not fixed across every region.
For print books, confirm the series name, volume number, language, and edition. The original side stories are Vol. 14 and Vol. 15 in Yen Press’s catalog, while Ragnarok begins a separate volume sequence.
