Mine the copper vein beside the Garden in the Inquisition Base with a pickaxe. The item reference lists a Smithing mastery 2 requirement and a yield of three Copper Nuggets per break—or four with the Miner perk. The vein regenerates, so you can mine it again when you need more.

Where to find the copper vein

Head to the Garden area in the Inquisition Base. The Graveyard Keeper 2 Wiki places the vein beside the Garden; an independent guide gives a more specific landmark: the cliff by the fishing dock, west of the Yard. Use the dock and cliff to orient yourself if the vein is not immediately visible. The item reference and AllThingsHow’s guide, dated September 17, 2026 describe the location.

How to mine Copper Nuggets

  1. Equip a pickaxe.
  2. Meet the Smithing mastery 2 requirement. The item reference and the fan wiki’s Copper Rush page both list this requirement for breaking the vein.
  3. Interact with the copper vein and collect the nuggets it drops.

These requirements and yields come from fan-maintained game references, not an official developer confirmation. The item data identifies build GraveyardKeeper2-4599483364566526977; mechanics may change in later patches.

How many nuggets each break gives

A regular break gives three Copper Nuggets. With the Miner perk, the reported yield is four. The perk therefore adds one nugget per break; if you already have it, you do not need to find a different copper source.

Can you mine the vein more than once?

Yes. The references say the vein regenerates after it is broken, allowing repeated mining at the same location. The fan wiki’s Copper Rush page describes the vein as returning shortly after a break. Its site identifies itself as an unofficial fan wiki, and one of its item pages says the site has moved and is no longer updated.

What to do with Copper Nuggets

Make Bronze Ingots

The listed metalworking recipe makes four Bronze Ingots from three Copper Nuggets, one Tin, and 20 Fuel at Furnace I or II. You must unlock Bronze Forge technology first. AllThingsHow reports that the unlock costs 20 Metallurgy Tech Points; that cost is secondary-source guidance.

Bronze Scraps as an alternative

AllThingsHow also describes a salvage route: three Bronze Scraps produce two Bronze Ingots. The guide says scraps found in Yard debris eventually run out, unlike the repeatable copper vein. The route is therefore a finite alternative rather than a replacement for returning to the vein.

Sources and version caveat

The location and crafting recipe are covered by the independent AllThingsHow guide; the Smithing requirement, yield, Miner perk, and regeneration details come from fan-maintained databases. The fan wiki identifies its Copper Nuggets data with build GraveyardKeeper2-4599483364566526977. No developer or publisher source confirming these exact mechanics was identified, so treat the figures as guide data and check them in-game if a patch may have changed the recipe or yield.
