Your Season 3: Runners Sprites have not been deleted: Epic says they remain in Sprite Garden in Chapter 7 Season 4. Override also adds a new generation of Sprites to Battle Royale, so the old collection and the new seasonal Sprites are in different places.
Where did your Season 3 Sprites go?
Look for your previous collection in Sprite Garden. Epic describes it as a place to play with the Sprites you collected in Season 3: Runners, visit friends’ garden sanctuaries, and showcase your collection. Epic’s August 20, 2026 Override announcement and Chapter 7 Season 4 Support answer both confirm that the prior-season Sprites continue in Sprite Garden.
Epic’s guidance does not give a specific menu-by-menu route to the mode, so this is the destination to look for rather than a guaranteed sequence of buttons.
How are Sprite Garden and Battle Royale different?
Sprite Garden is where Epic says the Season 3 collection is kept and displayed. Battle Royale has a new generation of Sprites in Override. Finding newer Sprites there does not mean your earlier ones were removed; Epic describes them as continuing in Sprite Garden.

What if your collection still will not display?
A collection that fails to appear is different from the documented seasonal move. Epic’s general visual-bug guidance recommends trying these steps; they are not Sprite-specific recovery instructions:
- Verify Fortnite’s game files.
- If you play on PC, clear the Epic Games Launcher cache.
- On PC, try a clean boot and disable background applications.
- If the issue continues, reinstall Fortnite.
- If the display problem persists, submit an in-game bug report, as Epic directs in its visual-bug troubleshooting guidance.
These steps are general troubleshooting, not a promise that an account-specific collection issue can be recovered. If they do not resolve the display problem, report it in-game rather than assuming your collection was erased.

No. Epic says trading Sprites is not a supported in-game action and advises players to be wary of suspicious offers. Do not share account details or trust someone promising to restore or exchange Sprites. See Epic’s Sprite trading guidance.

No. Epic’s v42.20 update notes document a separate issue in which other players’ Sprites could sometimes be seen through walls, and say it was fixed. That visual bug concerns seeing other players’ Sprites; it does not indicate that your own collection has disappeared. Read the v42.20 Fortnite Override update notes.
