If “the Arc” means the enormous ARC wreck on Pendola Pass, go to the named point of interest Fallen Emperor. That is the map landmark associated with the wreck. If you mean ordinary ARC enemy machines for the Exploring Pendola Pass quest, the requirement is different: any ARC type counts toward the quest’s 20-enemy objective, but no fixed, guaranteed spawn coordinate has been verified.
Pendola Pass arrived with Embark Studios’ Frozen Trail 2.0 update on October 8, 2026. The distinction between the Fallen Emperor wreck and regular ARC enemies matters because a landmark is confirmed for the former, while a permanent spawn location is not established for the latter.

How to reach Fallen Emperor
Use Fallen Emperor as your destination when your objective is to see or reach the large ARC wreck itself. The available location guides identify it by name but do not establish a reliable coordinate that can be copied into a route planner. In practice, navigate by the named point-of-interest label on the Pendola Pass map rather than by an assumed grid reference.

- Open the Pendola Pass map. Confirm that you are on the map added in the Frozen Trail 2.0 update, not another Arc Raiders region.
- Look for the Fallen Emperor point-of-interest name. Treat the label as the destination. Do not substitute a nearby area simply because it appears visually close on the map.
- Plan an approach from a recognizable named area. Old Town, Piazza della Rupe, Railyard, Railroad Junction, and the Observatory are all named Pendola Pass areas that can help you orient yourself. The published guides do not provide precise coordinates tying any one of them to a particular entrance, so use them for broad orientation only.
- Follow the map and confirm the landmark in the world. The objective is the large wreck associated with Fallen Emperor. If the scenery does not match a major ARC wreck, you may be at a similarly named area or on the wrong route.
- Leave room for raid variation. Loot and encounter conditions can change between raids. Reaching the same named landmark does not guarantee the same item distribution or enemy arrangement.
Because no reviewed guide supplies a dependable coordinate, directions that promise a specific doorway, building corner, or compass bearing should be treated cautiously. A later patch can also move, relabel, or alter access routes without changing the point-of-interest name.
Finding ARC enemies for Exploring Pendola Pass
The Exploring Pendola Pass quest treats the enemy requirement as a count, not as a particular ARC model. The walkthrough for the quest states that 20 ARC enemies are required and that any ARC type can contribute to that total. You do not need to find a special “Arc” variant named after the wreck.
What counts toward the 20-enemy requirement
- Any ARC type encountered on Pendola Pass can count toward the quest total, according to the walkthrough guidance.
- The 20-enemy combat task is separate from the quest’s location tasks at the Observatory, the Railyard antenna, and Commissary Supermarket.
- Progress for one task should not be assumed to complete another. Reaching Fallen Emperor, visiting the Observatory, or inspecting the Railyard antenna does not by itself satisfy the 20-enemy requirement.
A practical search pattern
- Track the quest in your interface. Verify that the active objective is the 20-ARC combat task rather than one of the named-location tasks.
- Move through Pendola Pass’s named areas. Use Old Town, Piazza della Rupe, Railyard, Railroad Junction, and the Observatory as navigation references while you search. These names help you describe where you are; they are not verified guaranteed enemy nests.
- Engage ARC machines whenever they appear. Since the quest accepts any ARC type, there is no reason to wait for one specific model if your only goal is the count.
- Check the counter after each encounter. Confirm that the number increases before assuming a kill qualified. If it does not, verify that the correct quest is selected and that the machine was credited as an ARC enemy.
- Continue through another area if a route is quiet. The available sources do not establish a permanent spawn coordinate, so an empty stretch should be treated as a raid-specific result, not proof that you are permanently in the wrong place.
This approach avoids the most common misunderstanding: searching Fallen Emperor for a guaranteed group of regular enemies. The wreck answers the landmark interpretation of the question; the quest objective is satisfied by whatever ARC types you can legitimately encounter during the raid.

Why there is no guaranteed ordinary-ARC coordinate
The location and quest guides reviewed for Pendola Pass identify Fallen Emperor and explain the 20-enemy objective, but they do not verify one exact coordinate where ordinary ARC machines always spawn. That means a responsible route can describe landmarks and the objective rules, not promise a fixed patrol location.
Several factors can make a route appear inconsistent:
- Raid-to-raid variation: an area can be active in one raid and quiet in another.
- Different enemy types: the quest accepts any ARC type, so the machines you encounter may not resemble the enemy shown in a guide’s screenshot.
- Patch changes: quest walkthroughs and map annotations can become stale after an update.
- Objective confusion: the Observatory, Railyard antenna, and Commissary Supermarket tasks are listed separately from the combat count.
If a guide gives a precise spawn pin without explaining its patch or evidence, use it as an unconfirmed lead rather than a guarantee. The strongest supported instruction is to patrol the map’s named areas, engage qualifying ARC machines, and watch the quest counter.

Using Pendola Pass landmarks without overcommitting to a route
Named locations are useful for orientation even when they are not proven enemy spawns. For example, you can record that you entered from Old Town, crossed toward Railroad Junction, and then checked the Railyard. This creates a repeatable personal route without claiming that the game permanently favors one circuit.
Old Town and Piazza della Rupe
These names can help you identify which side of Pendola Pass you are traversing. If the map marker for Fallen Emperor is not immediately visible, first confirm that your position agrees with the map’s surrounding labels. Do not infer an exact distance or direction from the names alone; the available location references do not publish those measurements.
Railyard and Railroad Junction
Railyard is especially important because the quest also mentions a Railyard antenna task. Keep that objective separate from the ARC count. You can visit the antenna and still need to defeat machines elsewhere. Railroad Junction is another useful orientation label, but it should not be presented as a guaranteed ARC spawn.

Observatory and Commissary Supermarket
The Observatory and Commissary Supermarket are likewise named quest-related locations. Reaching either one may advance a location task, but neither is documented as a permanent ordinary-ARC spawn point. If you are hunting the 20 enemies, check your counter rather than assuming that arriving at a named building completes the combat requirement.

Do not build your entire raid plan around a claim that Fallen Emperor, or any other Pendola Pass area, always has the best loot. In the October 8, 2026 update, Embark’s ARC Raiders team said: “The intent is to make the loot values of certain areas vary from raid to raid, thus making ‘routes’ less predictable and scavenging more dynamic.”

- Use Fallen Emperor first as a landmark when you need the wreck, not as a guaranteed high-value farming stop.
- Expect the contents of a familiar area to differ between raids.
- Choose whether to continue scavenging based on what you actually find and on your active objectives.
- A route that worked once should be treated as a route option, not a permanent best route.
Troubleshooting when the Arc is not where you expect
You cannot see Fallen Emperor on the map
Confirm that Pendola Pass is selected and that the map has loaded the point-of-interest labels. The region was introduced on October 8, 2026, so an outdated guide, screenshot, or map view may not match the current interface. If the label still does not appear, rely on the current in-game map rather than an old coordinate list.
You reached a landmark but no regular ARC enemies appeared
That result does not disprove the landmark. Fallen Emperor identifies the wreck, while no source verifies a guaranteed ordinary-enemy spawn there. Move through another named area and continue checking for any ARC type that can advance the quest.
The 20-enemy counter did not increase
Check that Exploring Pendola Pass is the active quest and that the target was an ARC machine. Also make sure you are not checking the progress for the Observatory, Railyard antenna, or Commissary Supermarket task instead. If the interface still behaves differently from the walkthrough, follow the current in-game wording because quest text can change after a patch.

Embark’s variable-loot design makes raid conditions less predictable, and enemy arrangements can also change with updates. Do not assume the route is permanently broken; switch to another named area and verify progress from the objective counter.
