For a small, predictable supply of Sheet Metal, visit Celeste in Speranza and buy each piece for three Assorted Seeds. If you would rather preserve your seeds, search the industrial and technological areas of Stella Montis first—especially Assembly and Loading Bay—then check the named loot areas on Pendola Pass and Riven Tides.
Every scavenging location is an opportunity rather than a guaranteed route. A PC Gamer guide dated 9 October 2026 reports that Sheet Metal “seems to be a guaranteed drop” from yellow drawer containers in Assembly, but that wording describes an observed pattern, not a published drop-rate guarantee.
Buy Sheet Metal from Celeste in Speranza
Celeste is the dependable fallback when you need only a few pieces and have Assorted Seeds available. Her listed price is three Assorted Seeds for one Sheet Metal. Unlike a raid search, this exchange gives you a known result without spending time checking containers.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Return to Speranza.
- Interact with Celeste and open her shop or trade inventory.
- Select Sheet Metal.
- Confirm the purchase for three Assorted Seeds per piece.
This option is most useful when a crafting or Outpost requirement is almost complete. It is less attractive when your seed supply is limited, because the price applies to every individual piece and the available guidance does not state a bulk discount or alternate currency.

Best places to scavenge Sheet Metal
When you want to obtain Sheet Metal as raid loot, concentrate on areas built around machinery, storage, transport, or commercial shelving. The locations below are named in current guide coverage, but loot rolls can produce other items instead.
Stella Montis: Assembly
Assembly is the clearest first stop. It is a technological or industrial area with multiple eligible containers and exposed surfaces. Pay particular attention to yellow drawer containers. Sean Martin, a Senior Guides Writer at PC Gamer, wrote that every yellow drawer container in Assembly “seems to be a guaranteed drop for sheet metal.” Keep the qualification: the article reports an in-game observation, not a controlled test or an official spawn table.
Search each yellow drawer rather than assuming one successful drawer means the rest of the building is empty. Also inspect nearby shelves, tables, desks, and other open surfaces before moving on; Sheet Metal can appear as loose loot as well as inside containers.
Stella Montis: Loading Bay
Loading Bay is the other Stella Montis location specifically highlighted for technological and industrial loot. Its storage and handling layout makes it a logical companion to Assembly when both areas are available on your route. Search industrial containers first, then sweep visible surfaces so that you do not leave a loose item behind while focusing only on drawers.
Pendola Pass: Commissary Supermarket
The Commissary Supermarket is recommended as a dense search area on Pendola Pass. Check the shelves and nearby containers throughout the store. A dense set of loot spots increases the number of places you can inspect in one stop, but it does not make any individual shelf or container certain to contain Sheet Metal.
Pendola Pass: Old Town
In Old Town, search household and commercial surfaces rather than looking only for factory-style containers. Shelves, tables, and sofas are all called out as places where loose loot may appear. Move through rooms methodically and check the surfaces at eye level and near furniture edges, where a quick sprint can miss an item.

Pendola Pass: Almatera Station and the Northern Tracks
Almatera Station and the Northern Tracks provide a transport-themed alternative. Search inside the trains, giving priority to seats and tables. Train interiors can be overlooked when players concentrate on exterior containers, so enter each accessible carriage and inspect its surfaces before leaving the station area.

Riven Tides: Port Authority Building, Stacking Yard, and Railyard
On Riven Tides, the recommended approach is a container-focused route:
- Port Authority Building: Check the Dockmaster’s Office and its available storage.
- Stacking Yard: Inspect the green cabinets and other containers around the yard.
- Railyard: Search crane control rooms for surface loot and open containers on flatbed railcars.
The guide covering this route explicitly warns that the drops are not guaranteed. Treat each stop as a chance to roll Sheet Metal, not as a fixed inventory list.

How to search efficiently during a raid
A consistent sweep prevents you from spending an entire raid checking only one type of container.
- Choose one map route before deploying. Start with Assembly and Loading Bay on Stella Montis if your priority is the strongest named recommendation. Use Pendola Pass or Riven Tides when those maps better match your current objectives.
- Search industrial containers first. In Assembly, check the yellow drawers before moving to surrounding storage. In Riven Tides, follow the named cabinets, offices, control rooms, and railcars.
- Perform a surface sweep. Inspect shelves, tables, desks, seats, sofas, and similar exposed locations. Sheet Metal may be loose loot rather than a container item.
- Keep track of inspected spaces. A quick mental route—left side of a room, center surfaces, then containers—reduces backtracking and makes an empty area easier to distinguish from an unchecked one.
- Stop when the expected value no longer fits your goal. If you need one or two pieces and still have Assorted Seeds, Celeste removes the uncertainty. If you need a larger stockpile, continue through another named area rather than spending all your seeds immediately.
No cited guide provides a measured time-to-loot comparison between these routes. The sources also do not publish an official Sheet Metal drop rate, so it is not possible to identify one scavenging path as objectively fastest from the available evidence.
What “guaranteed” means for Assembly drawers
The Assembly observation is stronger than a generic recommendation, but it should not be read as a developer-confirmed rule. “Seems to be a guaranteed drop” preserves the uncertainty in the original report: the writer observed Sheet Metal appearing from every yellow drawer container they checked, yet did not publish a sample size, test conditions, patch history, or percentage probability.
That distinction matters when a drawer is empty or produces another item. An unexpected result does not prove that your account is malfunctioning, nor does it establish a new permanent drop table. Check the rest of Assembly, continue to Loading Bay, or switch to the vendor option rather than repeatedly opening one container in the hope of forcing a result.

The ARC Raiders Wiki classifies Sheet Metal as a common Basic Material used for Outpost furniture. Its listed stage-two Outpost project requires:
| Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Sheet Metal | 5 |
| Planks | 3 |
| ARC Alloy | 10 |
| Advanced Electrical Components | 3 |
The Wiki is community-maintained. Open the project in your current game build before committing materials, because a patch can change a requirement even when an older item page still shows the previous recipe. The five-piece Sheet Metal figure is therefore a useful planning reference, not a substitute for the live in-game requirement.
Which method should you choose?
| Method | Known cost | Certainty | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Celeste in Speranza | 3 Assorted Seeds per Sheet Metal | Predictable purchase result | Finishing a small quantity quickly |
| Stella Montis: Assembly | Raid time and risk; no fixed currency cost | Yellow drawers are reported to “seem” guaranteed; other loot is variable | Starting a dedicated Sheet Metal search |
| Stella Montis: Loading Bay | Raid time and risk | Possible loot; no controlled rate stated | Adding an industrial stop to the same route |
| Pendola Pass locations | Raid time and risk | Possible loot on shelves, tables, seats, and containers | Searching while already operating on Pendola Pass |
| Riven Tides locations | Raid time and risk | Possible loot; drops are not guaranteed | Running a container-heavy route through port and rail areas |
The choice comes down to certainty versus resource cost. Celeste converts seeds directly into the item. Scavenging conserves seeds but trades them for travel, search time, and variable loot. Since no source supplies controlled route-success data, choose based on your immediate map, inventory, and tolerance for another search rather than a claimed universal best route.
If you cannot find any Sheet Metal
- Confirm you searched surfaces as well as containers. Shelves, tables, desks, seats, and sofas are all reported possible locations.
- Check the named areas in a deliberate order. On Stella Montis, start with Assembly and Loading Bay. On Pendola Pass, use the Commissary Supermarket, Old Town, or Almatera Station. On Riven Tides, follow the Port Authority, Stacking Yard, and Railyard stops.
- Do not treat an empty container as proof that the entire area cannot spawn the item. Loot is variable, and a guide’s candidate location is not an item guarantee.
- Use Celeste when the remaining quantity is small. Three Assorted Seeds per piece gives you a known way to finish an Outpost requirement without another uncertain raid.
- Recheck the Outpost project in your current build. If the displayed requirement differs from the community Wiki listing, follow the in-game value.
Patch and date caveat
The location advice above reflects guide coverage published in October 2026. ARC Raiders can change container contents, map layouts, vendor inventories, or project recipes through patches. No official developer drop table or controlled Sheet Metal spawn-rate study is identified in the cited material, so keep the practical rule simple: use the named areas as high-value places to check, and rely on Celeste when you need certainty.
