The most reliable starting point is Riot Games’ League of Legends Media archive. From there, use the official tag archive for the band you want—K/DA, HEARTSTEEL, or Pentakill—and open the Riot post for the song. That post identifies whether the item is a music video, concept video, album post, or audio release and points to the official viewing or listening destination.
Start with Riot’s official Media archive
Riot’s Media archive is the broadest official index for League of Legends creative releases, including virtual-band music and video announcements. It is useful when you know the song title, remember only part of a video, or are looking for a newer release that has not yet become familiar through search results.
- Open the Media archive.
- Scan the media listings for the band or song title. Riot’s post titles normally identify the act and the release type.
- Open the relevant post rather than relying on a third-party upload.
- Use the official video player or listening links included in that Riot post.
- Save the post URL if you want a dependable reference; it preserves Riot’s description and credits even if a platform search later changes.
The archive is a discovery hub, not a promise that every historic track or every new upload will appear in one returned view. If a general search is too broad, switch to the band-specific archives below.

Band tags group related announcements and make it easier to separate official releases from fan edits, reaction videos, and unrelated League content. The following routes and examples are documented on Riot’s own pages.

| Band | Official route | Examples surfaced by Riot | What the post provides |
|---|---|---|---|
| K/DA | K/DA tag archive | “POP/STARS,” “MORE,” and concept videos for “VILLAIN,” “DRUM GO DUM,” and “I’LL SHOW YOU” | Music-video and concept-video entries, with individual posts for major releases |
| True Damage | Riot’s “GIANTS” page | “GIANTS,” the group’s debut single | Official video information, artist credits, and links to listening services in the video description |
| HEARTSTEEL | HEARTSTEEL tag archive and the announcements archive | “PARANOIA” and coverage for “Live My Life” | Music-video announcements and related release news |
| Pentakill | Pentakill tag archive | “III: Lost Chapter” and its title song | Album coverage and a title-song post directing readers to official audio and video |
K/DA: “POP/STARS,” “MORE,” and concept videos
The K/DA archive is the most useful destination when you want both finished music videos and shorter visual pieces. Riot identifies “POP/STARS” as K/DA’s debut single on its official “POP/STARS” page. For the later release, use Riot’s “MORE” page, which is explicitly presented as a K/DA music video.
The same tag archive also lists concept videos for “VILLAIN,” “DRUM GO DUM,” and “I’LL SHOW YOU.” A concept video is not necessarily the same kind of full narrative production as a principal music video, so check the post title before assuming you have found the main release. Opening the Riot entry keeps the distinction clear and gives you the official playback link associated with that item.
True Damage: finding “GIANTS” and its credits
For True Damage, Riot’s official “GIANTS” page is the primary route. Riot describes “GIANTS” as the group’s debut single and identifies the League characters Ekko, Akali, Senna, Qiyana, and Yasuo.

The accompanying official video description, available on Riot’s Spanish-language page at https://www.leagueoflegends.com/es-mx/news/media/video-oficial-true-damage-giants/, credits Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON, DUCKWRTH, and Thutmose as featured artists. It also names The Line Animation as a video-production partner and includes listening links. If you are checking whether a result is the intended release, matching the title, artist credits, and Riot link is safer than selecting the first similarly named upload.
HEARTSTEEL: “PARANOIA” and “Live My Life”
Open the HEARTSTEEL archive for band-specific results. Riot’s tag listings include the “PARANOIA” music video. For additional release coverage, check the official announcements archive, which also lists HEARTSTEEL video coverage for “Live My Life.”
Riot’s listings can include news about a release as well as the playable video itself. Read the individual entry to determine whether you have opened a direct video post, an announcement, or related material. The distinction matters if you are trying to find the actual watch link rather than an article about the release.

Pentakill: album and title-song posts
The Pentakill tag archive is the official index for the band’s Riot news. It lists the “III: Lost Chapter” album and a post for the title song. That title-song entry directs readers to official audio and video, so it is the practical starting point when you want to listen rather than read album news.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsBecause an album page and an individual song page serve different purposes, use the album entry for release context and the title-song post for the actual media destinations. Riot’s links are the best way to identify which audio or video page is intended.
How to tell a music video, concept video, audio post, and announcement apart
Search results often mix several kinds of official content. Use the wording on Riot’s page to identify what you have found:

- Official audio or album post: a page that directs you to listening destinations or presents an album release, such as Pentakill’s “III: Lost Chapter” coverage.
- Announcement: news about a release that may point onward to the video or audio. HEARTSTEEL’s “Live My Life” coverage is listed in Riot’s announcements archive.
This classification prevents a common mistake: treating every animated clip, teaser, lyric upload, or fan-made edit as the official music video. The Riot post’s title and destination tell you which format it represents.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use the official post to reach YouTube or a music service
Riot’s pages may embed a player or provide links to external listening services. Follow those links from the Riot entry instead of typing a song title into a platform and choosing an unverified result.
- Confirm that the page is on the
leagueoflegends.comdomain and that the title matches the song and band. - Read the post description for the linked video, audio release, artist credits, and production information.
- Choose the viewing or listening link supplied by Riot.
- On the destination service, check that the channel, artist name, release title, and artwork agree with the Riot post.
- If several versions appear, prefer the one reached through Riot’s link and retain the Riot page as the source of the release details.
The True Damage “GIANTS” description is a useful example: it combines the video context, featured-artist credits, the animation partner, and listening links in one official description.

Regional availability and broken-link troubleshooting
Availability can differ by country and service. The official pages establish where Riot directs readers, but they do not establish that every platform carries every track in every region. A link may therefore open successfully while the play button, download option, or full release is unavailable in your location.
If a video or track is unavailable
- Return to the Riot post and try another official destination listed there.
- Check the same release on the service’s local catalog, using the exact title and artist spelling from Riot.
- Look for a regional-language Riot page or an alternate official link in the post description.
- Do not assume that a fan re-upload is an authorized substitute simply because it is playable.
If search results are crowded with unofficial uploads
- Start from Riot’s Media archive or the relevant band tag, then follow the outbound link.
- Compare the result’s title, channel or artist identity, artwork, and credits with the Riot entry.
- Be cautious with “extended,” “nightcore,” “cover,” “reaction,” and “lyrics” labels; these usually describe derivative or edited material rather than the original release.
If you cannot find an older song
Search the broad Media archive first, then the band tag, and finally Riot’s announcements archive. The returned archive view may not expose every historic or newly released item at once, so try the song title together with the band name and inspect older entries. Use only a page that Riot itself links or publishes when you need an official source.
A quick decision path
- You know only the band: open its Riot tag archive.
- You know the song title: search Riot’s Media archive, then open the matching post.
- You need a full music video: select an entry explicitly labeled “official music video.”
- You want visual extras: inspect entries labeled “concept video.”
- You want listening links: open the song or album post and follow its official audio destinations.
- You are outside the release’s expected market: test the specific service in your region and use another Riot-provided destination if access differs.
What these archives do—and do not—guarantee
Riot’s archives provide an authoritative discovery path and verified examples, but they are not a complete cross-band catalog in one page. A tag can contain videos, concept pieces, album announcements, and related news. Platform catalogs can also change, and regional licensing can affect playback.
For that reason, treat the Riot post as the source of record for the release identity and credits, and treat the linked platform as the place where playback occurs. This approach gives you the strongest combination of authenticity, context, and a practical route to the song or video you want.
