Where to look for Eelgrass Strand
The Grounded 2 Crafting Calculator identifies Eelgrass as the source of Eelgrass Strand and associates the material with Koi Pond, Pond Depths, and Pond Lab. These are community-database location references, not confirmed coordinates or an exhaustive map of every spawn.
Use the locations as places to investigate underwater. The available information does not establish an exact route, a fixed spawn point, or how many strands a harvest yields.

- Open the recipe for the specific underwater item you want to craft and note its Eelgrass Strand requirement, along with its other materials.
- Check the in-game resource entry or item description to confirm what your current equipment can harvest. The available sources do not verify a required harvesting tool or Omni-Tool tier, so do not assume a particular upgrade is necessary.
- Plan around the destination and your current underwater gear. If the item recipe or resource description differs from the community reference, use the current in-game information.
How Eelgrass Strand fits into underwater progression
Grounded 2’s Into the Abyss update expanded underwater exploration and added Diving Suit recipe progression unlocked through Optical Disks. Obsidian describes the suit path as supporting longer underwater expeditions and access to deeper pond areas. The update’s broader progression can help frame your preparation, but it does not confirm a specific Eelgrass Strand route or harvesting requirement.
