Zenless Zone Zero promotional codes are safest to find in the game’s official announcements and official social channels. You can redeem a valid code either in the game or at HoYoverse’s official redemption page, but the feature remains locked until you finish the Prologue mission Business x Strangeness x Justness. Livestream codes can expire within a short window, so verify the deadline in the original announcement and redeem the code promptly.
What you need before redeeming a code
There are three conditions to check before spending time copying a code:
- Complete the unlock mission. HoYoverse says the redemption function is unlocked after you complete the Prologue mission Business x Strangeness x Justness. Until that point, the in-game option will not be available.
- Use the account and server where you play. A code can fail if the selected server region does not match the account or character for which you are trying to claim it.
- Confirm that the code is still valid. Promotional codes are time-limited offers, especially those shown during Special Program livestreams. An official post may include a precise expiration date and time.
Finding or redeeming a code does not require a purchase, gaming accessory, merchandise, or a paid service. The only practical requirements are an eligible game account, access to the official redemption route, and a code that has not expired or already been used on that account.
Where to find legitimate Zenless Zone Zero codes
Official site announcements
Start with the Zenless Zone Zero official news section. Special Program announcements often explain when a livestream will take place and whether an exclusive redemption code will be revealed during the broadcast. The Version 3.3 “Journey to the Sky” announcement, published October 5, 2026, told players that an exclusive code would be dropped during the October 9 livestream.

That announcement also listed the game’s official YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok channels. Treat those links as destinations for the broadcast and announcements, not as a guarantee that every channel will publish identical material at the same time. Check the original announcement and the linked official channel around each Special Program.
Official livestreams and social channels
Codes may appear on screen or in an official post connected with a livestream. HoYoverse’s support guidance specifically points players toward official channels such as HoYoLAB, YouTube, and Twitch, and advises against third-party redemption software. If a code appears only on an unattributed social post, a random forum, or a video with no link to an official announcement, treat it as unverified.
Reposted lists are especially risky because they often combine codes from different regions, omit expiration times, or leave old entries online after they stop working. Use a repost, if at all, only as a lead; verify the code, region, and deadline against the original official post before entering it.

Why an “active codes” list can mislead you
Code availability changes faster than a normal evergreen guide can be updated. The official Version 3.3 Intel Report, published October 9, 2026, stated: “The Special Program redemption code will expire on October 11 at 23:59:59 (UTC+8).” That deadline has passed, so the code associated with that example should not be presented as active.

The example is useful because it shows the correct way to judge a code: read the deadline in the announcement, convert it to your local time if necessary, and redeem before the stated cutoff. Do not assume that every livestream code lasts the same number of hours or days. Each offer’s own announcement controls.
How to redeem a code in Zenless Zone Zero
Method 1: Use the in-game menu
This route is convenient when you are already playing and have completed the required Prologue mission.
- Open Zenless Zone Zero and enter the game with the account you want to receive the redemption.
- Tap the Menu icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select More.
- Choose Redemption Code.
- Enter the code exactly as it appears in the official announcement, then confirm the submission.
If you cannot find Redemption Code, first verify that Business x Strangeness x Justness is complete. The feature is locked before that mission is finished; changing menus or reinstalling the game will not bypass the unlock requirement.
Method 2: Use the official website
The web route is useful when you are away from the game or prefer entering text in a browser. Open the official page at https://zenless.hoyoverse.com/redemption.

- Open the redemption page in your browser.
- Sign in with the HoYoverse account associated with your Zenless Zone Zero progress.
- Follow the page’s instructions to select the appropriate account or server information, if requested.
- Enter the code exactly, including its capitalization and every number or letter.
- Submit the code and read the confirmation or error message before closing the page.
The website is an official supported route, not a separate source of codes. You still need to obtain the code from an official announcement and observe its expiration deadline. Signing in also makes account selection important: submitting while logged into a different HoYoverse account can send the redemption to the wrong place or make a valid code appear unusable for your intended character.

Both routes are supported by HoYoverse. Neither route makes an expired, region-incompatible, mistyped, or previously redeemed code valid.
What to do when a code says it is invalid or already used
HoYoverse identifies several common causes. Work through them in this order so you do not mistake a typing problem for an expired promotion.

Verify that the region selected for redemption matches the account’s game server. HoYoverse lists Asia, Europe, Americas, and TW, HK, MO as the relevant server regions. A code intended for one region may produce an error when submitted against another, even when the characters themselves are correct.

2. Check the expiration date and time
Return to the official announcement that supplied the code and look for its deadline. Include the time zone. The Version 3.3 example used 23:59:59 (UTC+8), not an unspecified “end of the day.” Once the stated deadline has passed, repeatedly entering the same code will not restore it.
3. Check every character
Copy the code directly from the official post when possible. If you type it manually, compare each character and preserve the original case. Pay particular attention to look-alikes such as the number 0 and the letter O. Extra spaces, missing characters, and altered capitalization can all cause a valid code to be rejected.
4. Check whether the account already redeemed it
Many promotional codes can be claimed only once per account. An “already used” message may simply mean the code was redeemed earlier through the other route, by another player with access to the account, or during an earlier session. Trying the website after the in-game route will not create a second claim.
5. Avoid unofficial redemption tools
Do not give your login details to a third-party redemption program or website. HoYoverse’s security guidance says to redeem codes from official channels only, including HoYoLAB, YouTube, and Twitch, and warns against third-party redemption software. Use the official in-game menu or the official redemption page instead.

6. Contact support if a valid code still fails
After confirming the region, deadline, spelling, capitalization, and account history, contact HoYoverse support if the code should still be valid. Include the code and a screenshot or video showing the error, as recommended in the official troubleshooting article. Do not post account credentials publicly while asking for help.

- Watch the official announcement. Check the official Special Program notice and its linked channels for the livestream schedule and code information.
- Capture the code accurately. Copy the characters from the official broadcast or post, keeping capitalization and numbers intact.
- Record the deadline. Note the exact date, time, and time zone shown in the official announcement rather than relying on a generic claim about how long codes usually last.
- Redeem immediately. Use the in-game menu if the feature is unlocked, or sign in at https://zenless.hoyoverse.com/redemption.
- Save the result. Keep the confirmation or error message until you know whether the redemption succeeded. If it fails, troubleshoot the region, deadline, characters, and prior-use status while the promotion is still within its stated window.
This workflow avoids the two biggest time-wasters: chasing expired entries and troubleshooting a code copied from an unofficial source. It also keeps your account credentials on HoYoverse’s own services.
