If you want the modern games, check the live Steam or GOG listing before paying. Assemble Entertainment says Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice will be removed from Steam after October 23, 2026. GOG lists both at the time of writing and advertises DRM-free offline installers, but the Steam notice does not promise that either game will remain available elsewhere. The classic titles have a separate availability problem: six were named in a 2025 Steam-removal announcement, and their current status on other stores must be checked title by title.
Where can you buy Leisure Suit Larry games on PC?
There is no single store that can safely be described as carrying the complete Leisure Suit Larry catalog. Availability differs by game, edition, country and date, and the publisher has announced removals from Steam.

- Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice: Assemble Entertainment’s official Steam announcement says both will be removed from Steam after October 23, 2026. If you want a Steam license, check the current product pages and purchase before that deadline rather than assuming the listings will remain.
- GOG: Product pages for both Wet Dreams games were live when this guide was prepared. GOG says these downloads are DRM-free, can be installed with offline installers and do not require GOG Galaxy. Galaxy is optional for features such as achievement and cloud-save synchronization. Availability can change, so confirm that the exact title and edition are still listed in your region.
- Classic games: Assemble announced in April 2025 that six titles were leaving Steam: Magna Cum Laude Uncut and Uncensored, Larry 1, Larry 2, Larry 3, Larry 5 and Larry 6. That announcement does not establish where each game is currently sold. Search for each named title’s live store page instead of treating an old catalog list as proof of availability.
The publisher has not explained what happens to the two Wet Dreams games on other storefronts after the Steam removal. Assemble’s October 8, 2026 announcement, “Larry Is Retiring Soon,” says: “Unfortunately, we can’t share anything about his future.” That is a statement about the lack of a future-availability announcement, not evidence of a licensing reason or a guarantee that another store will continue selling the games.
Steam and GOG: which storefront fits your priorities?
| Consideration | Steam | GOG |
|---|---|---|
| Wet Dreams availability | Publisher-set removal date is after October 23, 2026; verify the live listing before purchase. | Both Wet Dreams product pages were listed at research time; continued availability is not promised by the Steam announcement. |
| Installation model | The available evidence here identifies store editions and bundles but does not establish a general DRM or offline-policy claim. | GOG advertises DRM-free downloads and offline installers. |
| Desktop client | Use the Steam client and its normal library process. | GOG Galaxy is optional; offline installers work without Galaxy. Galaxy adds features such as achievement and cloud-save synchronization. |
| Edition information | Store pages identify standard and Save the World Edition options where offered. | Check the individual product page for the exact edition, included extras and supported operating systems. |
| Best fit | Readers who already maintain a Steam library and want its store ecosystem, provided the title is still listed. | Readers who specifically value DRM-free offline installation or want to keep installers independently of a client, subject to current listing availability. |
Do not infer that buying on one storefront transfers ownership to the other. A purchase is tied to the account and license terms of the store where you complete it. Compare the exact product page, not just a search result or a bundle thumbnail.
#1 Best Overall
Wet Dreams editions: standard or Save the World Edition?
The Save the World Edition is an expanded edition of the relevant Wet Dreams game. Steam identifies its contents as the main game plus the official soundtrack and artbook. The standard edition contains the game itself without those named bonuses.
| Edition | Included content established by the store description | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Main game. | You only want to play the story and do not need digital extras. |
| Save the World Edition | Main game, official soundtrack and artbook. | You want the soundtrack and artbook, or the price difference on the live page is small enough to justify them. |
Steam also says that 10% of Save the World Edition revenues are donated to ShareTheMeal. Treat that as an edition-specific statement, not a permanent percentage for every store or promotion. Check the current regional page for the exact contents, price and any discount before checkout; prices and sale percentages are temporary and can differ by country.
There is no reason to buy the expanded edition merely because it has a longer name. If you will never open an artbook or soundtrack, the standard edition is the simpler choice. Conversely, collectors of game music and artwork should compare the live price gap rather than assuming the bonus package is always better value.

Is Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded the original game?
No. Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded is a distinct remake of the 1987 game Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. GOG describes Reloaded as a 2013 remake. It is therefore not the untouched 1987 release, and buying it does not mean you have purchased a complete collection of the classic games.
What to check before buying Reloaded
- Confirm that the product title says Reloaded if you want the remake rather than an original-era release.
- Read the platform line on the live page. GOG lists Windows support for Reloaded.
- Be careful with the Mac listing: GOG warns that the Mac version is 32-bit and will not work on macOS 10.15 or later. A modern Mac running Catalina or a newer macOS version should not be assumed compatible.
The remake question is separate from the Wet Dreams editions. A Save the World Edition bonus package does not turn a modern game into a classic release, and Reloaded does not include the rest of Larry’s original numbered catalog unless a particular product page explicitly says so.
How to choose among the modern and classic games
Choose Wet Dreams Don’t Dry when you want a modern starting point
This is the first game in the Wet Dreams storyline covered by the current modern releases. Select the standard or Save the World Edition after checking which version your chosen store offers. If you prefer offline installers and DRM-free files, the GOG listing is the relevant option when it is live in your region.

- Players roam a fully-realized college campus trying to romance coeds

Choose Wet Dreams Dry Twice for the follow-up
Wet Dreams Dry Twice is the other modern title named in the Steam removal notice. Treat it as a separate purchase unless a live store page explicitly offers a bundle containing both games. Verify whether the bundle includes the standard or Save the World content before assuming the soundtrack and artbook are included.
Choose Reloaded for a remake of the first adventure
Buy Reloaded when you want the 2013 remake of the 1987 first game. It is the clearest choice for someone who wants that original premise in a newer remake, but its Mac compatibility warning is decisive for users on macOS 10.15 or later.
Choose a classic numbered title only after checking its individual listing
The six games named in the 2025 Steam announcement should be treated as individual availability checks. Do not assume that because one classic title appears in a search result, the others are also sold, or that an old bundle still grants access. Record the exact title, publisher, operating-system support and edition shown on the live page before paying.
A safe purchase checklist
- Start with the exact game name. Distinguish Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, Wet Dreams Dry Twice, Reloaded and each numbered classic title. Similar artwork and shortened search terms can lead to the wrong product.
- Check the listing’s current status. Look for an active purchase button, not only a cached search result, wish-list entry or old review page. This matters especially for the two Wet Dreams Steam pages and the six classics named in the 2025 notice.
- Compare edition contents. For a Wet Dreams listing, verify whether it is Standard or Save the World Edition and whether the page names the soundtrack and artbook.
- Confirm the platform and operating system. Read the compatibility section. For Reloaded, the listed Mac build is 32-bit and does not run on macOS 10.15 or later.
- Decide whether client-free installation matters. GOG’s stated DRM-free offline installers and optional Galaxy client may be important if you want to archive installers or play without a store launcher. Steam’s listing alone should not be treated as proof of equivalent DRM or offline behavior.
- Check your region and currency. Edition options, taxes, discounts and even availability can vary by country. Prices are not durable facts; use the amount shown at checkout.
- Save your receipt and installer information. Keep the purchasing account details and any offline installer files permitted by the store’s terms. This is particularly useful when a title has a published removal date.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Waiting for a sale after a removal announcement
A discount is never more important than confirming that the product remains purchasable. A store can change a listing before a sale arrives. For a title with a stated Steam deadline, decide based on whether you want the game, not on an assumed future promotion.
Assuming delisting means every digital version disappears
The Steam announcement concerns Steam. It does not establish what happens on GOG or any other storefront. Check each store’s live page and avoid claiming that a game is permanently unavailable unless the seller or publisher states that clearly.

Buying a Mac version without checking its bitness
Older Mac builds can be incompatible even when a store page still displays a Mac icon. The 32-bit warning for Reloaded means macOS 10.15 and newer systems will not run that version without an older compatible environment.
Treating dynamic store data as permanent
Prices, review totals, ratings, discounts, bundle composition and regional availability can change. Use those fields for your immediate decision, but do not rely on a price or percentage copied from an old article.
What is currently known about the catalog’s future?
The reliable facts are limited to the publisher’s announcements: two Wet Dreams games have a Steam removal date after October 23, 2026, and six classic titles were named for Steam removal in April 2025. The publisher has not stated a general replacement storefront, a complete re-release plan or a reason for the removals in the information covered here. That uncertainty is why a live listing check is part of the buying process rather than an optional extra.
