Where the Seeds Fall now has a playable Windows PC demo on Steam, alongside a newly released 1:27 cinematic trailer. The full single-player action-adventure is planned for November 2026; a same-day launch report gives 5 November 2026 for Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, while Steam currently lists only the month.
What the demo lets you try
Where the Seeds Fall is set on a Blight-ravaged Earth where survivors live on the branches of a gigantic World Tree. You play a soldier who encounters a child branded a “Fell Child” and chooses to escort them toward the surface.
The central challenge is traversal rather than conventional combat. Levels feature crumbling platforms, powerful winds and controlled falls. Flower buds can be collected and thrown to create blossoms that absorb impacts that would otherwise be fatal. The demo is therefore a useful test of whether you enjoy precision movement, timing and environmental problem-solving.

The demo is available through the game’s Steam page for Windows PC. SteamDB records the standalone demo (app 5024030) as released on 16 October 2026 at 07:51:37 UTC, with full controller support. The Steam listing also contains the 1:27 trailer.

Release date and platforms
Steam’s current planned-release field says November 2026. A 16 October report specifies 5 November 2026 and names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Treat 5 November as the current reported plan rather than a date independently confirmed by every platform store.

How long is Where the Seeds Fall?
Steam describes the main story as a densely packed experience that can be completed in about three hours. That estimate covers the primary narrative, not every optional challenge. After finishing the story, the listing identifies higher-difficulty maps and a time-trial mode, giving the traversal systems additional replay value.
