China is part of Bang & Olufsen’s supplier and materials network, but the available company disclosures do not show that all B&O products—or any particular current model—are made there. B&O is Danish, and it describes aluminium processing and finishing in Struer, Denmark. Supplier location, component processing and final assembly are different things; the public information cited here does not provide a complete model-by-model list of finished-product origins.
What B&O’s disclosures establish
Bang & Olufsen (B&O) is a Danish company with an international supply chain. Its FY 2024/25 annual report describes suppliers melting aluminium in Europe or China. It also says aluminium used by B&O’s partners in China was either processed at Factory 5 in Struer or sourced locally. What happens at the Struer factory
B&O describes Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, as a site for inspecting, machining, treating, anodising and decorating aluminium, as well as quality control. The company’s factory overview also identifies Struer as its headquarters. These disclosures show that important aluminium work takes place in Denmark, but component processing alone does not establish the country where a finished speaker, headphone or other product is assembled. Supplier locations do not equal product origin
B&O reported 99 product-related suppliers as of May 31, 2024, with more than half located in Denmark. In FY 2023/24, its top eight suppliers accounted for 96% of product-related spend. These dated figures describe the supplier network and spending concentration—not a share of products made in Denmark or China. How to check where your specific B&O product was made
The company-level sourcing information does not establish the origin of a particular unit. For an exact answer, check the country-of-origin label on the product or its packaging. If it is missing or unclear, contact B&O with the model and serial number and ask for that unit’s country of origin. Do not infer final assembly from the origin of an aluminium part or the location of a supplier.
How current is the available country information?
B&O announced its 2025/26 annual report on July 2, 2026. The country-specific production details described above are from the FY 2024/25 report; the announcement itself does not establish whether the newer report provides a finished-product country breakdown. B&O’s July 2, 2026 announcement
