Wera Advent Calendar 2026 (part number 05136614001) is a 24-piece compact tool set built around an 80-lumen Flashdriver torch, a bit-holding screwdriver handle, nine 50 mm bits, seven metric Hex-Plus L-keys and modular storage. It is useful for household assembly, maintenance and carry-along jobs that match those profiles and sizes, but it is not a complete toolbox. Wera publishes the specifications and contents; no independent hands-on project test establishes performance beyond those manufacturer claims.
The calendar is the 2026 Christmas-season edition, so its contents should not be confused with the different 28-piece 2025 model. The sections below identify every included item, explain what each can do and give a practical way to decide whether the assortment fits your work.

Wera lists the product as a 24-piece Advent calendar. The table groups the two clip adapters with the tools they serve, so the calendar’s marketed piece count remains clear.

Wera’s 21 September 2026 press release also summarizes the calendar as 24 surprises, nine 50 mm BiTorsion bits and seven metric L-keys. The bottle opener is an accessory rather than a project-critical driver, but its 1/4-inch hex drive means it belongs to the same modular ecosystem.

What each tool can do
9115 Flashdriver torch
The battery-powered LED torch is rated at 80 lumens. It offers two brightness levels, 50% and 100%, and an automatically focusing light cone, according to the product page and datasheet. Its integrated 1/4-inch mounting accepts a standard hex bit. Wera states that “With a bit inserted, the torch can also be used for screwdriving.” In practical terms, that combines a small work light and a driver in one body for jobs in cabinets, under desks or behind appliances where a separate flashlight is inconvenient.
The specification does not state runtime, battery type, charging method, maximum torque or weather resistance. Treat the torch-driver function as a convenience for light fastening, not as a replacement for a dedicated powered screwdriver or impact tool.
815/1 Kraftform bit-holding handle
The separate 815/1 handle also accepts 1/4-inch bits. It gives you a conventional hand tool when you need more control than the torch provides or when lighting is already adequate. The handle is the sensible choice for starting screws, final tightening and work where you want to feel resistance directly through your hand.

Nine 50 mm BiTorsion bits
The assortment covers five common drive families: slotted, Phillips, Pozidriv, TORX and internal hex. Phillips and Pozidriv are supplied in sizes 1 and 2; TORX is supplied in TX20 and TX25; hex bits are 4 and 5 mm; and the slotted bit is 0.8 × 5.5 mm. The 50 mm length gives more reach than a stubby insert while remaining compact enough for a portable kit.
Wera describes a BiTorsion zone as cushioning peak loads. That is a design description from the manufacturer, not an independently measured durability result. Match the profile exactly: a Pozidriv bit is not a substitute for Phillips, and a nominally similar TORX or hex size can still damage a fastener if it does not seat fully.
Seven 950 Hex-Plus L-keys
The metric L-keys are 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm. Their long and short arms allow either reach or leverage, depending on which end you insert. Wera says the Hex-Plus profile reduces rounding of the screw-head hexagon. Again, that is a manufacturer specification rather than an independent comparison.

This range is useful for many metric furniture, bicycle, appliance and hardware fasteners, but it does not cover imperial sizes or larger metric keys. A 6 mm maximum also limits the set for heavy structural hardware and high-torque applications.

The 9111 and 9112 clip adapters attach the Flashdriver and Kraftform handle to the carrying system. The 9113 bit clip has a snap hook for quick attachment. The empty Tool-Check Modular L-key Hex-Plus holder stores the seven keys, while the 9549 adapter connects that holder to Wera Modular components. The 9590 textile Tool-Dock provides a compact place to keep the modules together. The official product page describes four modular holders and says they can attach to the textile dock or, with the supplied adapter, to compatible Wera Modular components.
Are the tools useful for real projects?
The useful answer depends on the fasteners in your project. The calendar is a plausible compact maintenance set when your work uses the listed profiles, metric sizes and modest hand-tool torque. It is not documented as a complete toolbox, and the manufacturer’s contents list cannot establish coverage for every screw, socket, drill or specialist task.

Good matches

- Limited hex coverage: The L-keys are metric only and stop at 6 mm. Imperial fasteners and larger structural hardware require additional tools.
- No sockets or ratchet: The calendar does not include sockets, a ratcheting handle, pliers, cutters, a drill or an impact driver.
- Unknown power details: Wera specifies brightness but not battery runtime, battery replacement or maximum screwdriving torque for the torch.
- Torque-sensitive work: For wheel hardware, structural fixings, seized fasteners or any job with a specified torque, use the appropriate torque-controlled tool rather than relying on a compact handle or torch.
- Repeated profiles: If your existing kit already contains PH1/PH2, PZ1/PZ2, TX20/TX25, 4 and 5 mm hex bits and the listed L-keys, the calendar adds organization and novelty more than essential capability.
A five-step fit check before you buy
- Inventory the fasteners. Look at the screw or socket head on the actual project, not only at the product description. Record the profile and size for every fastener you expect to touch.
- Check metric versus imperial. The L-key sizes are metric: 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm. An imperial fastener may appear close but can be damaged by a poor fit.
- Check access and reach. Decide whether a 50 mm bit, an L-key arm or the torch body can reach the fastener without fouling surrounding parts. Deep recesses may need a longer bit or extension that is not listed.
- Estimate torque and duty cycle. For light assembly and maintenance, the manual handle is appropriate. For high torque, repeated production work or seized screws, plan on a dedicated ratchet, torque driver or powered tool.
- Separate the gift value from the tool gap. If you already own the profiles, the modular storage, torch and presentation may still appeal as a gift. If your goal is to equip a workshop from scratch, budget for the missing sockets, larger and specialist bits, measuring tools and gripping tools.
How the 2026 edition differs from 2025
Do not use a retailer’s old description to identify the current set. Wera’s official 2025 datasheet describes a different 28-piece screwdriver assortment. The 2026 calendar centers on the Flashdriver, 50 mm bits, L-keys and modular storage instead.
