As of October 7, 2026, promotional material and dated weapon guides identify several GTA 6 weapons by name and show many more by appearance. Rockstar has not published a complete weapon catalogue, so there is no authoritative final-game total yet. The clearest way to read the available evidence is to separate weapons named in Rockstar material from visual identifications made by guides.
Which GTA 6 weapons have names tied to Rockstar material?
The following names have been reported in Rockstar’s promotional material or footage. The sources do not all apply the same standard for what counts as an officially named weapon, so the source of each name matters.

For the Morgan Revolvers, Rockstar’s store listing is the primary source for the name and Ultimate Edition benefit. The other names above are attributed to specific promotional appearances or source reporting; they should not be treated as proof that Rockstar has released a complete official list.
What other weapons are visible, but not confirmed by official in-game names?
ViceCity Guides’ September 2026 roster identifies additional weapons by their appearance or apparent class. These are visual comparisons by a guide, not a Rockstar-published catalogue of names or exact real-world models.

- Pistols: an M1911-style pistol with “Capo” marked on the slide. The guide says it is unclear whether “Capo” is a maker’s mark or a weapon name.
- Submachine guns: MP5-style and Uzi-style guns, plus a compact MAC-10-style weapon.
- Machine guns: a light machine gun compared with an FN M249, and a helicopter door gun.
- Rifles: AK-pattern rifles, Duke carbine rifles (including a visible Duke 556 label), and an M1A-style battle rifle.
- Shotguns: pump-action and semi-automatic examples, as well as a long-barrel over-and-under shotgun.
- Other firearms: a scoped bolt-action hunting rifle compared by the guide with a Remington 700, and a grenade launcher.
Rockstar’s official GTA VI media gallery is the primary source for promotional imagery. A resemblance to a real firearm does not establish the fictional weapon’s in-game name, manufacturer, specifications, or whether the apparent model will remain distinct in the released game.

The totals vary because the articles cover different snapshots and handle apparent variants, melee weapons, vehicle-mounted guns, and name evidence differently. None should be presented as Rockstar’s confirmed final inventory.

What is not established about the GTA 6 arsenal?
- Rockstar has not supplied a standalone complete public weapon catalogue in the sources available as of October 7, 2026.
- A firearm appearing in a trailer, screenshot, or artwork confirms that it was depicted in that promotional material—not necessarily its final in-game name, availability, or exact real-world counterpart.
- Leak-only names and weapons familiar from earlier GTA games are not evidence that those weapons appear in GTA 6 promotional material.
- The store page lists November 19, 2026 as the release date. That date was still in the future when the evidence in this article was checked, so the list is a pre-release snapshot, not a verified launch inventory. Rockstar’s store page.
