The Australian RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Pet Stick Vacuum with Dual Roller 2 x 4Ah Kit (model R18XSV9PET142BLK2) is a feature-rich bundle on paper: it includes two batteries, a fast charger and several powered cleaning tools. But its headline figures—especially “up to 110 minutes” of runtime—are manufacturer claims, not independently verified results. CHOICE lists the vacuum, but its public page does not reveal test scores, so there is not enough accessible evidence to rank its cleaning performance.
What exactly is in the Australian PET kit?
RYOBI Australia identifies the kit as model R18XSV9PET142BLK2. That model number matters: similarly named 18V stick vacuums or other bundles may have different included batteries and accessories. The official product page lists these box contents:
- R18XSV9 vacuum
- Two RB1840C 18V 4Ah batteries
- RC18130 3A fast charger
- R18XSV9FH4 motorized dual roller bar
- Mini powered brush bar
- Micro-crevice tool and crevice tool
- Dust brush
- Wall mount
- Spare washable filter
Confirm the model number and contents on the local listing before buying; a similar product name does not guarantee the same bundle. RYOBI Australia’s product page is the source for the exact kit list.

RYOBI describes the vacuum as a brushless 18V ONE+ model with cyclonic filtration, two power settings, a removable dust tank and a self-standing design. Its dual roller head pairs a plush microfibre front roll with a rear bristle roll. The separate powered mini brush is positioned for pet hair on hard floors and carpet.

| Specification | Published information |
|---|---|
| Suction | Up to 20 kPa, according to RYOBI Australia |
| Air watts | 90, according to RYOBI Australia |
| Airflow | 900 L/min, according to RYOBI Australia |
| Dust capacity | 800 mL on RYOBI Australia’s product page; CHOICE records 0.6 L |
| Runtime | Up to 110 minutes with the two included 4Ah batteries, according to RYOBI Australia |
| Weight | Not established consistently: RYOBI page renderings list 3 kg and 1.6 kg; CHOICE records 4.12 kg |
These figures are not directly comparable measures of cleaning quality. RYOBI’s published suction, air-watt and airflow numbers have not been independently measured in the accessible sources. The capacity and weight differences between RYOBI and CHOICE are unresolved; the figures may use different definitions or configurations, so do not treat either set as a settled measurement.
How much should you trust the runtime claim?
RYOBI says the two included 18V 4Ah batteries provide “up to 110 minutes of runtime.” The product page does not specify the power setting, floorhead use or test conditions behind that maximum. It is therefore not a promise of 110 minutes while cleaning with the powered roller in high-power mode. Expect runtime to depend on how the vacuum is configured and used, but the available information does not support a more precise estimate.

Is there independent evidence of cleaning performance?
CHOICE’s public product record identifies Adrian Lini as the tester and describes a hands-on laboratory approach by its home-appliance testers. However, the vacuum’s CHOICE Expert Rating and pickup results are members-only. The publicly visible listing does not establish how well this model picks up dirt, debris or pet hair, and it does not support calling the vacuum a top performer.

CHOICE’s public record also differs from RYOBI’s product page on listed capacity and weight. Its entry records a 0.6 L bin, 4.12 kg weight, two speeds, an 18V lithium-ion battery, Vietnam as the country of origin and an A$599 price. Those listings do not resolve the conflicting measurements or provide public pickup scores.
What does it cost, and what warranty applies?
RYOBI Australia’s product page displays A$599, but dates that price information to 2 June 2025 and warns that availability may vary. CHOICE also records A$599; neither figure confirms the current retail price. Check a current local listing for the exact kit and price before purchase.

The 18V lithium batteries have a separate three-year warranty. RYOBI describes this coverage as replacement-only and says repair services and spare parts are unavailable under it. Warranty terms and remedies can differ by market, so check the current terms where you live.

The kit is most compelling for buyers who want multiple included powered tools and can use its two batteries beyond vacuuming. For a buyer whose priority is proven pet-hair pickup or a predictable cleaning time, the published information leaves important questions unanswered. Before choosing, look for independent test results or compare locally available vacuums using the same criteria:
- Measured pickup on hard floors, carpet and pet hair
- Runtime by power setting and with the powered floorhead in use
- Weight in the configuration you will lift and use
- Dust capacity, emptying method and filter maintenance
- Included powered tools, batteries and spare parts
- Current local price, availability and warranty remedies
RYOBI’s manual availability is inconsistent across product-page renderings: one identifies a manual published 11 October 2024, while another shows no manuals. Verify that an official manual link works before relying on it for setup or maintenance instructions.
