What the HC90DCXB1 is

The dimensions and headline airflow and sound figures are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements. The available CHOICE Australia listing does not provide a public independent performance score; its results are member-only. The figures alone cannot tell you the extraction or noise level you will experience with your duct route, installation and cooking conditions. Ducted installation
The product documentation describes top extraction. CHOICE Australia lists 150 mm as the recommended duct diameter and a 600–700 mm mounting-height range. Treat these as listing figures, not universal code requirements: check the instructions for the exact appliance and market, plus applicable local rules, before installation. The older Fisher & Paykel installation guide covers the HC90DCXB1 family, but confirm its applicability to your particular unit. CHOICE Australia listing · Fisher & Paykel installation instructions

Recirculating installation
Fisher & Paykel lists a recirculation carbon filter, part 791823, and a recirculation diverter, part 791820, separately. Confirm that both parts are compatible with the unit’s market and installed configuration before ordering; the product information also describes top extraction, so verify the installation arrangement rather than assuming recirculation is ready out of the box. Controls, cleaning and listed parts
Fisher & Paykel specifies three fan speeds, touch controls, dimmable lights, a timer that can continue operating for up to 15 minutes, and a filter-cleaning alert.
