The Final VR500 for Gaming is a wired in-ear earphone with an inline microphone and one-button controller—not an over-ear gaming headset. Its appeal is a compact, wired setup with adjustable earpieces and five included tip sizes; its gaming-positioning benefits are claims from the manufacturer, not independently verified results here.
What the Final VR500 for Gaming is
Final identifies this earphone as model FI-VR5DPL. It connects by cable and places a microphone and one-button controller on the wire. That makes it a different kind of option from an over-ear headset: there is no headband or large earcup, and the cable is 1.2 m long.
The official product page lists a dynamic driver, an OFC cable, 98 dB sensitivity, 18 Ω impedance and a weight of 15 g. It includes Type E eartips in five sizes. These are the manufacturer’s published specifications, not the result of independent measurement in this review. Final’s VR500 for Gaming product page
How it is intended to sound in games
Final says it designed the VR500 to reproduce the direction and position of sound objects in 3D binaural audio, and describes it as suitable for games such as FPS and fighting titles. The manufacturer also positions its sound space as comparatively compact and says it separates multiple sound objects clearly relative to other models in its VR range.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Those statements describe Final’s design intent and product positioning. The available evidence does not establish directional accuracy, a competitive advantage, or performance in any particular game through independent testing. Treat spatial positioning as a feature to evaluate for yourself rather than a proven gameplay benefit.
Fit and comfort features
The earpieces use what Final calls a swing-fit mechanism, which allows their angle to adjust to the ear canal. Five sizes of Type E eartips are included, giving you options to try for a secure seal and fit. These features may help with fit adjustment, but they cannot guarantee comfort or a suitable seal for every ear.

Check the intended device’s connector and microphone support before buying. A Japanese customer review excerpt on Final’s product page reports that the microphone did not work with that reviewer’s PC; this is one person’s report, not proof of a general compatibility problem. Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you want a wired in-ear gaming option with an inline microphone and controls, and prefer eartips to an over-ear headset.
- Check before buying if game-chat microphone support is essential: verify the connection and compatibility with your exact PC, console, phone or controller.
- Keep expectations measured if you are buying primarily for positional advantage. Final describes that goal, but independent evidence here does not verify a benefit in games.
- Confirm the fit by trying the included tip sizes; the swing-fit design and multiple tips do not ensure comfort for every wearer.
