If you believe Aion 2 restricted your account by mistake, appeal through the game website’s Contact Us section as soon as possible. The AION2 Operation Policy says sanction appeals must be filed within 15 days of the sanction date. Include your account and character identifiers, the exact notice, dates, a concise factual explanation, and supporting screenshots—never your password or authentication codes. A login error alone does not reveal whether the action is temporary, permanent, account-wide, or a security protection measure, so ask Customer Support to identify the restriction and review the account.
Start with the official appeal route—and the deadline
The AION2 Operation Policy directs players to submit sanction and account inquiries through the game website’s Contact Us section. It states that an appeal must be submitted within 15 days from the date of the sanction. Treat that as a hard working deadline: send a clear first appeal promptly rather than waiting for more information or relying on a public forum post.
The policy uses the Report section for matters such as account theft and reports about abusive users. A ban appeal belongs in the sanction/account inquiry path in Contact Us. If you also suspect that someone accessed or traded your account, explain that in the appeal and ask Support which account-security process to use; do not substitute a theft report for the sanction appeal.

Confirm what kind of restriction you are seeing
AION2 defines several different actions. The same short login message or connection failure can be consistent with more than one of them, so do not infer permanence from a single screen. Ask Support to state the action’s name, scope, start date, and duration.

An official AION2 notice dated September 1, 2026 says temporary account-protection measures may be applied when access signs from a particular device or connection suggest a security risk. It tells people who believe a sanction or protection measure was applied unintentionally to contact Customer Support. That notice confirms the protection mechanism exists in that context; it does not prove that your restriction is a false positive.
Prepare an account-specific appeal
The policy does not publish a mandatory form or evidence checklist. A short, verifiable submission gives the investigator the information needed to locate the account and compare the action with the relevant records.
Include these identifiers and facts
- Your NC/PLAYNC account identifier and every affected AION2 character name. Do not include a password, one-time code, recovery code, or payment-card number.
- The date and approximate time you first saw the restriction, your region and server, and the device or connection in use.
- The exact wording of the notice or error. Copy it accurately; do not paraphrase a phrase that might identify the sanction type.
- A direct request for an account-specific review, confirmation of the restriction type, and the stated policy basis or event date where Support can disclose it.
- Relevant context that can be checked, such as a recent device, network, location, or password change, an unusual login alert, or the particular play session immediately before access stopped. Label each point as something you know, something you observed, or something you merely suspect.
Preserve useful evidence
- Capture the full restriction screen, including any code, timestamp, and character or server information.
- Keep copies of the submitted message, attachments, automated receipt, and every reply. Record the support case number.
- Provide only relevant files. A screenshot that shows the exact notice is usually more useful than a long account history with no explanation.
- If the message appeared after a security event, preserve login-alert emails or device notifications while redacting passwords, authentication codes, and unrelated personal data.
These are practical ways to make a request reviewable, not extra requirements promised by NC. Accuracy matters more than volume: an investigator can check a specific time, character, and event more easily than a long accusation.

Use a clear message structure
You can adapt the following wording. Replace the values with your own information and remove anything that does not apply.
Subject: Request for review of AION2 account restriction
Account ID: [your NC/PLAYNC identifier]
AION2 character(s): [character names]
Region/server: [region and server]
Restriction first seen: [date and approximate time, with time zone]
Notice text: “[exact text shown in the client or website]”
I believe this restriction may have been applied in error and request an
account-specific review. Please confirm whether this is a temporary game ban,
permanent game ban, integrated-account action, IP block, or temporary security
protection measure, and explain the recorded basis if it can be disclosed.
Relevant facts: [brief timeline, including any device, network, or security
change you know about]
Attachments: [screenshots or case references]
Do not claim that a particular program, player, or cause triggered the action unless the official notice says so. If you do not know why access stopped, say that plainly and ask for clarification.
Submit the appeal step by step
- Open the official AION2 website and choose Contact Us.
- Select the account, sanction, or game-access inquiry category that matches the available labels. If the labels have changed, choose the closest account-support category and state that the request is a sanction appeal in the subject line.
- Enter the account and character identifiers, date, region/server, exact notice, and factual explanation prepared above.
- Attach readable screenshots and redact passwords, one-time codes, payment details, and unrelated personal information.
- Submit before the policy deadline, save the confirmation and case number, and keep a copy of the complete message.
- Reply in the same case if Support requests information. Avoid opening multiple identical tickets for the same event.
Interface names can change, so follow the current labels on the official site. The route matters more than a particular menu’s wording: the policy identifies Contact Us as the channel for sanction and account appeals.

Know what the investigation can—and cannot—tell you
The operation policy describes this sequence: “Terms violation → (Report) → Investigation → (Pre-notification) → Sanction → Appeal → Notification of appeal result”. It says reported investigations may take time and that re-investigations may be conducted in some cases. The exact quote is: “Reported investigations may take some time, and re-investigations may be conducted in some cases.”

Do not treat an automated receipt as a decision, and do not assume that silence means the ban is permanent. A case connected to a report can also be temporarily restricted during an investigation, which is different from a final finding.
While waiting, monitor the case channel and preserve any new notices. If you receive a result that does not identify the restriction clearly, ask one focused follow-up question about the action type, effective dates, and any available review path rather than sending repeated copies of the original complaint.

Understand the policy categories without self-diagnosing
The sanctions table lists examples including gold-farming or bot operations, use or distribution of unauthorized programs, bug exploitation, account trading, real-money trading, payment fraud, account hacking, and other conduct categories. These examples explain what the policy covers; they are not a diagnosis of your account. A player should not state that a particular tool or activity caused a false flag unless the official notice identifies it.
Unauthorized software or automation
If the notice names an unauthorized program or automated behavior, describe what you were doing at the stated time and provide factual context. Do not delete or alter records that Support might need, and do not install another tool in an attempt to bypass the restriction.

The AION2 support FAQ says accounts reported as bought, sold, shared, or stolen are investigated and may receive a penalty. The operation policy also says sanctions can apply to both the violating party and the account holder when violations during theft or sharing are attributable to the user’s own fault. If someone else may have accessed the account, give the dates, alerts, password changes, and other facts you can verify. Ask Support for the appropriate security procedure instead of guessing at a cause.

Payment or fraud concerns
For a payment-related restriction, identify the transaction date and the payment issue in neutral terms. Do not send full card numbers or authentication codes. Support can request additional verification through its own channel.
Avoid actions that can weaken your case
- Do not attempt to evade the restriction with alternate accounts. That can create additional policy issues and does not replace an account review.
- Do not use public posts as the appeal itself. A forum discussion cannot give Support the private account records needed for an investigation.
- Do not send repeated identical tickets, abusive messages, or knowingly false reports. The policy treats repeated identical inquiries and abuse of support or reporting as sanctionable false-report behavior.
- Do not pay a third party promising an “unban,” and do not provide account credentials to anyone claiming to represent Support outside the official channel.
- Do not assume a VPN, antivirus product, device reset, or network change will resolve a sanction. The cited policy and notice do not establish any of those as a remedy, and changing connection details can make the timeline harder to interpret.
When the message only says you cannot connect
Connection failure by itself does not distinguish a temporary game ban, permanent game ban, integrated-account action, IP block, or temporary security protection. Before troubleshooting hardware or creating another account, capture the message and ask Support to identify the action. Include whether other NC services, characters, devices, or networks are affected, but present those observations—not assumptions—as facts.
If only one connection appears affected, mention the network and device used when the message appeared. If every device and character is affected, mention that broader scope. These observations help Support route the case, but they do not establish the final cause or duration.
What to expect after the decision
Support should notify you of the appeal result through the case channel or the method it specifies. Read the decision for the action’s scope, duration, and any conditions. If the result identifies a temporary end date, keep the case reference until access returns. If it confirms a permanent action or denies the appeal without enough detail to identify the restriction, send one concise clarification request in the existing case, referring to the case number and the specific point you need explained.
Policy and support interfaces can change. If you need to appeal a future action, check the current AION2 Operation Policy and Contact Us labels before submitting; use the policy’s current deadline and route rather than relying on an old screenshot or an unofficial email address.
