If the Fallen Emperor gateway on Pendola Pass will not open, first check that you have an Emperor Gateway Conduit and are interacting with the entrance itself. Guides reproduce the prompt as “Unlock: 0/1 Emperor Gateway Conduit.” If you do not have the item, you can craft it at Workbench I after learning its blueprint and collecting one each of three couplers. For the Belly of the Beast quest, one guide also reports that another Raider carrying a conduit can open the gateway for you.
Check the gateway prompt and your inventory
Recent guides place the entrance at the base of the Fallen Emperor on Pendola Pass. At the entrance, look for the unlock interaction that names the Emperor Gateway Conduit; ARC Raiders Hub reproduces its wording as “Unlock: 0/1 Emperor Gateway Conduit.” If the requirement is unmet, check that a conduit is in your own usable inventory and that you are interacting with the gateway entrance, rather than another nearby object. The prompt and location are guide-reported, not official support instructions. ARC Raiders Hub’s Fallen Emperor guide and MetaForge’s conduit guide describe the interaction.
Craft an Emperor Gateway Conduit if you do not have one
Guides report that crafting requires the Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint to be learned, plus one of each component below at Workbench I. Check that you have all three distinct couplers; having multiple of one type does not replace another.
- 1 ARC Insulated Coupler
- 1 ARC Conductive Coupler
- 1 ARC Plated Coupler
The recipe is reported by Dot Esports and MetaForge. Verify the current recipe and crafting interface in your game, since guides and game mechanics can change with updates.

Look for the blueprint and couplers on Pendola Pass
Recent guides associate the blueprint and couplers with Emperor or Harvester Payloads during the Redirection condition on Pendola Pass. Their reported route is to use the Emperor relay or beacon and search the resulting payload. The sources do not provide drop rates or establish that a payload, or a single run, will supply every recipe component.

For Belly of the Beast, check quest progression and squad access
TimeSaver reports that Belly of the Beast follows Sizing Things Up. Its guide also says crafting your own conduit may be unnecessary if a squadmate or another Raider carrying one opens the gateway. Treat this as a reported alternative, not a guaranteed route: it depends on finding someone with the item, and the claim is from one guide. See TimeSaver’s Belly of the Beast guide.
If you have a conduit but the gateway still will not open
The guides establish the intended item requirement, but do not confirm a bug or provide a verified repair for an interaction that fails while a conduit is present. They also do not establish whether a failure in that situation is caused by quest state, inventory state, a game bug, or a version change.

- Recheck the entrance prompt and your inventory, then confirm the item and quest text in the current game.
- If the prompt still does not respond, check current official ARC Raiders support information or patch notes for a version-specific known issue.
These checks are practical ways to narrow down the problem, not confirmed fixes. The cited guides are secondary sources; ARC Raiders Hub notes that parts of its guide are still being updated, and MetaForge says some interior details remain unconfirmed. Mechanics and loot routes may change.
