If an ARC Raiders quest objective doesn’t register, first check that the right quest and step are active, then repeat the exact condition and check the quest tracker. If progress still does not change, restart and update the game, look for notes about that specific quest, and contact official support if it remains blocked. Quest bugs have been acknowledged in past updates, but no single workaround is known to fix every quest.
Check the quest and its full objective
Open the quest menu and confirm the intended quest is active and the displayed step is the one you are trying to complete. Read the full condition carefully: it may specify a location, an item, an interaction, a particular target, or that several requirements must be met in one round.
Make sure your action matches the stated requirement. Reaching a place may not be the same as interacting with an object there, and an item or elimination objective may require a particular item or target.
Repeat the action and check tracked progress
For an interactable, stay at its prompt until the interaction completes. For a collection, item, or kill objective, confirm you used the correct item or target. Then open the map or quest tracker and check whether the progress value changed.

A world marker can be confusing, so use the tracked progress value to determine whether the game counted the action rather than relying on the marker alone. If the tracker has not changed, compare what it shows with the exact objective condition before trying again.
Finish or extract from the raid only if the objective itself requires that. There is no universal rule that extracting is necessary for quest progress.

Restart, update, and check notes for that quest
Return to the lobby, restart the client, and make sure the latest game update is installed. ARC Raiders update notes have directed players to restart the client to download updates, and past patches have fixed specific quest issues. Search the latest official release notes for the quest name or the objective text; a historical fix is evidence of a past defect, not proof that the same issue is currently present or resolved for you.
Examples of quest-specific fixes
- Patch 1.2.0, dated November 13, 2025, says Embark fixed an issue that prevented quests with multiple objectives or item collections within one round from completing. It also says the Greasing Her Palm objective in Spaceport was changed so more thrusters would complete it. Read the 1.2.0 patch notes.
- Update 1.26.0 notes a fix for Seeker Grenade eliminations not counting toward Safe Passage. Read the Riven Tides 1.26.0 notes.
- Update 1.33.0 notes a fix for rare cases where objectives could activate out of order, making later steps appear early. Read the 1.33.0 live update notes.
- A 1.7.2 hotfix note describes fixing missing quest-item spawns that blocked Unexpected Initiative; the support page said the update was rolling out and asked players to restart the client to download it. Read the 1.7.2 hotfix note.
These examples show why it helps to match the problem to the quest and objective rather than assume every stalled tracker has the same cause. For a named issue’s current status, check the latest notes or ask support.

Report a quest that remains blocked
If you have verified the condition, checked the tracker, restarted and updated the client, and the objective still does not progress, use the official ARC Raiders Help Center. It provides a ticket entry point and a Game progression support category; the surfaced support pages ask users to log in for help. View the Help Center categories.
To make the issue easier to understand, include the quest name and exact objective text, your platform, the date and time, the map or raid, what you did, and the tracker value before and after. Add a screenshot or clip if you can. This is practical reporting advice, not a published mandatory checklist.
Players have reported receiving help with bugged quests through support, including one account of support completing quests for the player. That is an individual report, not a stated policy or a guaranteed outcome. Read the player report.

Should you try a community workaround?
Community suggestions, such as attempting the objective while teamed with another player, are experiments rather than confirmed general fixes. If you try one, keep checking the objective’s actual progress and report the issue if it remains blocked; do not treat a suggestion as a reliable substitute for the exact quest condition or official support.
