If an AION 2 daily or weekly task has not reset, first read that activity’s own countdown, then verify the game service and server, your character’s unlock requirements, and any maintenance or event notice. Community references report a Global reset at 07:00 UTC each day and a Wednesday reset at 07:00 UTC, but those times are not officially confirmed and may not apply to every service or activity. The timer attached to the task you are trying to use is the best immediate evidence.
Start with the task’s own countdown
Open the menu that contains the missing mission, reward, charge, or activity and look for wording such as “next reset,” “resets in,” or a recharge timer. Compare the displayed remaining time with the time at which you expected the task to return. This separates a genuine missed reset from a schedule that differs from a general guide.
A checklist can describe a daily or weekly pattern, but individual activities may use their own timers. If the in-game countdown still shows time remaining, the task has not missed its reset according to the game service. If the countdown has reached zero and the task is still unavailable, continue with the checks below rather than repeatedly relaunching the game.

Two community references describe the same Global schedule:

- Aion2Data, using client version 2.0.6.0 hotfix 1 and Steam build 25800038, dated October 9, 2026, reports a daily reset at 07:00 UTC and a weekly reset on Wednesday at 07:00 UTC.
- Daeva Guides, checked October 6, 2026, also reports 07:00 UTC for Global daily resets and Wednesday at 07:00 UTC for weekly resets.
These are secondary interpretations, not an official NCSOFT schedule announcement. A targeted search of the official AION 2 site found no current reset guidance or confirmed task-reset bug notice. Treat 07:00 UTC as a reference point for the Global service, not as a guarantee for every activity, region, or server.

Daeva Guides notes that different clock labels can represent the same instant after conversion. Before deciding that two times conflict, identify whether each is UTC, a service clock, a server label, or your local time.
Step-by-step troubleshooting
1. Confirm the exact activity
Write down the task or activity name, including the tab where it appears. “Daily task,” “weekly mission,” a dungeon entry, a reward claim, and a recharge can have different schedules. Check whether the unavailable item is the task itself, its reward claim, or an entry charge; confusing those states can make a normal timer look broken.

Note the exact text shown by the game and capture a screenshot if possible. Record the time displayed by the game, your local time, and the corresponding UTC time. If the timer says the activity is ready but the button remains disabled, record the button text or error message as well.

3. Verify the game service and server
Check the service selected at login and the server on which the character is playing. Reset clocks can be presented differently across services, and a schedule published for Global may not describe another service. Use the countdown associated with the service you actually selected instead of applying a converted time from a guide.
4. Check character and account requirements
Confirm that the character still meets every condition for the activity:
- Required level or progression milestone
- Prerequisite quest, tutorial, or unlock
- Required mode, location, party state, or account status
- Whether the task must be claimed before a new instance appears
If a task disappeared after a level change, switch to the relevant tab and check for a newly unlocked entry rather than assuming the old entry failed to reset.
5. Check maintenance and event timing
The AION2 KINA checklist warns that the selected game service controls reset timing and that individual activities may differ during maintenance or event periods. Look for a current notice from the game service, then reopen the activity’s timer after maintenance has ended. An event can replace, delay, or temporarily alter a normal activity schedule without changing the general daily or weekly reference.

6. Allow for the timer to update
If the countdown has just reached zero, leave the activity screen and open it again after the displayed transition. This is a verification step, not a guaranteed fix: the available evidence does not establish that restarting the client forces a server reset. Do not spend currency or purchase an item solely to make a reset occur.
The reported Duty-tab level-45 issue
Daeva Guides describes a possible issue in which missions in the Duty tab appeared only on the day after a character reached level 45. The guide says NCSOFT listed a fix for October 5, but also says the guide had not confirmed that fix. This is an unverified lead, not proof that every delayed Duty mission is the same problem and not confirmation that the fix is currently active.
If your symptoms match that description, record the character’s level-up date, the exact Duty mission, the service and server, and the timer shown in game. Check current official notices for your service before treating the old report as a diagnosis.

When the timer has passed but the task is still locked
Once the activity’s own timer has expired, the service and server are correct, and all prerequisites are satisfied, document the case for support. Include:

- Task or activity name and the tab or menu where it appears.
- Character level and the progression or quest conditions you had completed.
- Game service, server, and account region if the client displays one.
- Date and time of the observation in your local time and UTC.
- The exact countdown, status text, and any error message.
- Whether the problem continued after leaving and reopening the activity screen.
- Relevant screenshots or a short recording showing the timer and disabled state.
- Any maintenance or event notice that was active at the time.
This information lets support distinguish a schedule question from an account-specific unlock or server-state problem. The sources reviewed do not establish a universal cause or a confirmed fix for an unspecified task that fails to reset, so avoid claiming a bug until the service confirms one.

The guide’s reset time arrived, but the countdown still has hours left
The guide may use UTC while your client shows a service or local clock, or it may describe the Global service rather than yours. Trust the activity timer, identify the service, and convert the clocks only after confirming their basis.
The timer is zero, but the task is absent
Check that the character is on the intended server, that the activity is unlocked, and that a claim or prerequisite quest is not pending. Then inspect maintenance and event notices. Save a screenshot before contacting support.

Only one activity failed while others reset
This pattern is consistent with activity-specific timing or an activity state problem rather than proof that the entire daily reset failed. Compare the affected activity’s timer with another task, but do not assume their schedules are identical.

Several characters or activities are affected
Verify the service-wide timer and look for maintenance or event changes. Record whether the issue occurs on one account, one server, or multiple characters; that scope is useful when reporting the problem.
The task appeared after changing tabs or relogging
That observation suggests the display may not have refreshed, but it does not prove that relogging triggers a server reset. Note the sequence and time, and continue using the timer as the authoritative check.
What not to assume
- Do not treat 07:00 UTC as a universal reset for every AION 2 activity.
- Do not infer that a Wednesday reset applies to a task whose own timer shows a different schedule.
- Do not assume a clock label is wrong before checking whether it is UTC, service time, server time, or local time.
- Do not treat the reported Duty-tab situation as a confirmed current bug or a confirmed fix.
- Do not expect hardware changes, paid software, or an in-game purchase to force a server-side reset.
- Do not discard the timer screenshot; it is often the clearest record of what the service showed at the time.
Keeping a reliable reset record
For recurring tasks, maintain a small log with the activity name, service, server, timer text, and the UTC time at which you checked it. Mark whether a maintenance window or event was active. This prevents a local daylight-saving change or a remembered clock label from being mistaken for a missed reset.
