If a mutual-fund payment through bKash looks failed, pending, or unconfirmed, do not send a second payment yet. First open the bKash app, check the transaction in Statement, and save the amount, date, status and transaction reference. Then ask bKash whether your wallet was debited and whether the transaction is failed, pending or completed. If bKash confirms that the payment was passed to a fund provider, contact that provider to ask whether units were allocated or the order was rejected.
There is no verified mutual-fund-specific deadline for a refund, reversal or unit allocation. Timelines published for other bKash services cannot safely be applied to this investment. Treat the transaction record and support confirmation as the source of truth.
Start with these four actions
- Check Statement in the bKash app. Open the transaction and note the date, amount, status and reference number. Save a screenshot or download the available record.
- Confirm the wallet movement with bKash. Use customer care at 16247 or bKash live chat and ask whether the amount was debited and whether the transaction is failed, pending or completed. bKash lists these channels as available 24/7. E-Appointment and email are also listed support options.
- Contact the fund provider only after bKash confirms the hand-off. Ask whether the provider received the order, allocated units, placed the order on hold or rejected it.
- Do not retry while the first payment is unresolved. A second attempt could create two debits or two orders. The available guidance does not define a mutual-fund retry rule, so wait for support to say that another payment is safe.
What the transaction status means
The same complaint can describe several different situations. Separating them prevents you from asking the wrong party for a remedy.

How to check the bKash record correctly
Open Statement and capture the complete entry
In the bKash app, open the Statement section and locate the payment by date and amount. Record the transaction reference exactly as displayed; do not rely on a shortened notification, a bank SMS or memory. Also capture the wallet number or account identifier shown in the receipt, the beneficiary or service name, the currency and any status text.

bKash says Statement provides the latest 90 days of transaction details and summaries. If the payment is older, bKash says a user can request a short statement covering up to 12 months within the latest 12 months, or a detailed statement covering any period of up to six months within that 12-month window. A statement is evidence of what the wallet recorded; it does not by itself prove that a fund provider allocated units.
Save evidence before the entry changes
- Take a screenshot that includes the reference, date, amount and status.
- Write down the exact time and the phone used for the payment.
- Keep any confirmation SMS, email, QR receipt or provider order number.
- Note whether the wallet balance fell, rose again, or has not changed.
Do not edit, crop out or rewrite the reference when sending it to support. A single incorrect digit can send an investigation down the wrong path.
What to ask bKash support
Contact bKash customer care at 16247 or start a live-chat session. bKash lists both as 24/7 channels; it also lists e-Appointment and email for customer assistance. Use the channel that lets you retain a case number or transcript.

Give support a precise case
Provide your registered mobile number through the secure support process, the transaction reference, amount, date and time, service or fund name shown, and the device or route used. State the problem in one sentence, such as: “The amount was deducted, but the mutual-fund units are not showing.” Then ask these separate questions:

- Was the amount actually debited from my bKash wallet?
- Is this transaction failed, pending, completed, reversed or refunded?
- Was an order or payment instruction sent to a fund provider? If so, when and to which provider?
- Is there a bKash case or complaint number I should quote later?
- Should I avoid another payment, and what event makes a retry safe?
Ask the agent to distinguish a wallet debit from a provider-side order. “Completed” for the bKash payment does not automatically mean that investment units already exist, while “pending” does not prove that money is lost.
If support cannot find the transaction
Read the reference directly from Statement and ask the agent to search again. Check that you contacted the wallet registered to the payment and that the date is within the statement range. If the transaction was funded through a bank, card or another route rather than the wallet balance, tell support that route explicitly. A funding debit and a mutual-fund order can have different records.
When to contact the fund provider
Contact the provider only when bKash confirms that the payment or order was passed on, or when the provider’s name and order reference appear in your receipt. Ask for a written or ticketed answer to three points:

- Were units allocated, is the order awaiting processing, or was it rejected?
- If rejected, what happens to the money and which party initiates any return?
Send the provider the bKash reference, amount, date, your investor or application number if one exists, and the bKash case number. Do not send your wallet PIN, one-time password or full authentication credentials. A legitimate support agent should not need them.

If you do not know the provider
The receipt, Statement entry or bKash support response should identify the service or partner. If it does not, ask bKash to identify the recipient before contacting unrelated investment companies. The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission publishes mutual-fund and asset-manager listings, which can help you verify that a named provider is a regulated entity. Those listings do not establish which provider handled your particular bKash transaction.
Money deducted but units are not showing
This is the most important branch for a debit that appears successful. Keep the original payment untouched while bKash investigates. A missing unit balance can mean that the provider has not finished its own order processing, that the order was rejected after hand-off, or that the payment never reached the provider despite the wallet debit. Only bKash can confirm the payment leg; only the provider can confirm its order and unit record.
Ask bKash whether the transaction was delivered and request the delivery date or downstream reference if one exists. Give that information to the provider and ask it to search by both references. If the two parties give conflicting answers, request written case numbers from both and quote each case to the other party. Do not close the bKash complaint merely because the provider says it is investigating.

A failed label can refer to a failed payment, a failed provider order or a later reversal. Confirm which system produced the label. If bKash marks the payment failed but the wallet remains debited, ask bKash how the debit will be corrected and obtain a case number. If bKash marks the payment completed but the provider rejects the investment, ask the provider which party is responsible for returning the money and whether it has sent a reversal instruction to bKash.

Do not assume that a return is immediate or guaranteed on a particular date. No mutual-fund-specific refund deadline has been established in the available official guidance. Keep checking the wallet Statement and follow up using the original case number rather than creating multiple duplicate complaints.
Why other bKash timelines do not answer this case
Several bKash help pages describe timing for different products. They are useful only to show why a mutual-fund estimate would be unsafe:

Therefore, do not tell yourself that units must appear within 24 hours or that a refund must arrive within two working days. Ask the parties handling this exact payment for the applicable status and next action.
Wallet payments versus other funding routes
First identify where the debit occurred. A payment taken from the bKash wallet is investigated through the bKash transaction reference. A bank-account or Internet Banking route may create a separate bank debit and a bKash credit record before an investment order is created. If your bank account was debited but the bKash record is missing, tell bKash which bank route was used and contact the bank when bKash directs you to do so. Do not submit another payment simply because one side has not updated.

Retrying safely
There is no confirmed mutual-fund-specific rule saying when a retry is safe. Wait until support has identified the first transaction as fully failed or reversed, confirmed whether any order reached a provider, and told you that a new payment will not duplicate it. If you ultimately retry, save the new reference separately and check that the first amount has not been debited again.
Escalation and record-keeping
Keep one timeline
Use a simple log with the payment time, status changes, support channel, agent or ticket number, promises made and your next follow-up date. Attach screenshots rather than repeatedly describing the same facts. This makes it easier for bKash and the provider to reconcile the wallet record with the investment order.
Escalate with evidence
If a case remains unresolved, reply through the existing bKash case or live-chat transcript and include the reference, amount, dates and prior case numbers. Ask for a clear statement of whether the wallet was debited, whether the payment was transmitted and whether a reversal instruction exists. In parallel, give the fund provider the same evidence if bKash confirmed transmission. Avoid opening several new cases with different descriptions; inconsistent details can slow matching.

Important security precautions
- Never disclose your bKash PIN, one-time password or login code to a caller or chat participant.
- Use the official bKash app and the support channels listed by bKash, not a phone number copied from an unverified message.
- Do not install remote-access software at an agent’s request.
- Verify the recipient and amount on every new payment screen.
- Keep screenshots private; redact unrelated balance or personal information when sharing publicly.
What a resolved case should establish
Before considering the issue closed, obtain a definite answer to each applicable point: the final bKash status, whether and when the wallet debit was corrected if necessary, the provider’s order status, and the unit allocation or rejection record. If the order was rejected, retain confirmation of the return path and continue checking Statement until the wallet record matches the agreed outcome. If units were allocated, retain the provider’s account or folio confirmation even if the bKash transaction now shows completed.
