Before paying for a Hisense TV in India, get the warranty terms for the exact model, seller, purchase channel and invoice date in writing. Hisense India’s current Product Warranty Information page displayed “No warranty information available” when checked, so it does not establish a standard warranty period for a 2026 purchase. Do not rely on an old advertisement, a salesperson’s verbal assurance or a warranty period shown for another model.
Then confirm that service can be requested at your PIN code, establish who will install and demonstrate the television and whether that visit is chargeable, and compare the sealed-box contents with the precise model listing. These checks matter more than a small difference in price because they determine what happens when the TV needs installation or develops a fault.
1. Get a written warranty before you place the order
Start with the document that governs your purchase: the warranty card and the terms that apply to the exact model and invoice. Ask the seller or Hisense to state the following in an email, chat transcript or invoice note:
- the comprehensive warranty duration;
- the warranty start date and whether it is tied to the invoice date, delivery date or installation date;
- the model and serial-number range covered;
- what parts and labour are included;
- exclusions for panels, backlights, accessories, accidental damage, voltage problems, physical damage, software and commercial use;
- the procedure for opening a service request; and
- any registration, promotional-code or installation requirement.
Save the reply with the order confirmation and retain the tax invoice. If the seller will not put the claimed coverage in writing, treat the coverage as unverified and compare another listing or seller instead.

What the current Hisense page establishes
Hisense India’s current Product Warranty Information page returned the message “No warranty information available.” That is an absence of published terms, not proof that every Hisense TV has no warranty. It means you cannot safely infer a duration or a set of exclusions from that page. The transaction-specific documents are therefore essential.
Why an older four-year promotion does not answer today’s question
A legacy Hisense page describes a “4 Year Comprehensive Warranty – 2024” offer for models 65E7K, 55E7K, 50E7K and 43E7K. It applied only to invoices dated 15 February 2024 through 29 February 2024. The page says the box contained the standard two-year comprehensive warranty card and that two additional years were applied according to the invoice date.
That offer period has ended. It demonstrates why the model and invoice date must be checked; it is not evidence that a television bought in 2026, or a different model bought during 2024, receives four years.

Read the legal disclaimer literally
Hisense India’s legal disclaimer says that oral advice or written information from Hisense, its agents or employees does not create a warranty. In practical terms, rely on the written warranty documents applicable to your transaction rather than a call-centre promise or a shop assistant’s statement. Keep screenshots of any written confirmation until the warranty period ends.
Separate the seller’s promise from the manufacturer’s terms
A marketplace page may display a seller-written warranty label, while the manufacturer’s card governs service. Record the legal seller name, the marketplace or store through which you paid, and the exact invoice number. Ask whether the seller is adding a separate commercial promise or merely repeating Hisense’s coverage. If two listings show different durations for the same model, do not choose the longer one until the seller identifies the document and invoice condition supporting it.
2. Verify service for your exact PIN code
A warranty is useful only if you can obtain assistance where the television is installed. Before ordering, ask Hisense whether service is available at your PIN code for the exact model number and whether the request will be handled at home or through a service location.
Questions to ask support
- “Is after-sales service available at PIN code ______ for model ______?”
- “Who will accept the service request, and what information or documents are required?”
- “Are panel, remote-control and software issues handled through the same route?”
- “If a local technician cannot repair the set, how is escalation handled?”
- “Are there any locations where the customer must transport a large television?”
Ask for the answer in writing and record the date, model number and the name or reference number of the enquiry. Coverage, response times and parts availability can vary by location; the official pages do not publish a service-centre map, response-time guarantee or coverage percentage for every Indian PIN code.

Official contact details to verify
Hisense India’s contact page lists customer care at 1800 266 1969 and the escalation address in.servicehead@hisense.com. Verify both details on the official contact page immediately before purchase because contact information can change. Use the escalation address when a normal service request is unresolved, and include the invoice, model, serial number, PIN code and earlier ticket references.
Who may actually perform the work
Hisense’s privacy policy says the company may use contractors or other third parties and may share information with retailers or after-sales service partners. That means a partner may contact or visit you; it does not identify an authorised provider in your city or guarantee a particular service quality. Ask which organisation will receive your data and service request, and how you can escalate if the first visit does not resolve the fault.
Prepare the information support will need
Keep the model code, serial-number photograph, invoice date, delivery address, PIN code and a short description of the fault together. For a screen or power issue, note whether the problem appears at startup, on a particular input or only over Wi-Fi. Do not send unnecessary identity documents to an unverified number. Use the official contact route, ask for a ticket number and keep every message linked to that number.
3. Establish installation cost, scope and timing
Do not assume that installation is included in the TV price. A Hisense India API product listing states: “Installation & Demo Croma will coordinate for Installation and Demo on Chargeable Basis”. This is a retailer-specific example, not a universal Hisense policy. It does not prove that the same retailer handles every model, that the arrangement is still current or that another seller charges the same way.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteConfirm these details with the seller
- Who schedules the visit: the seller, Hisense or an outside partner?
- Is the fee mandatory, optional or waived under a specific promotion?
- Does the quoted amount cover only unboxing and demonstration, or also wall mounting?
- Is the wall-mount bracket supplied with the television, supplied by the installer or charged separately?
- Are drilling, masonry work, cable concealment, extended cables or a difficult-access location extra?
- When will the installer call, and what happens if the delivery and installation dates do not match?
- Will the installer record a damage check and demonstrate the panel, ports, remote and smart-TV functions?
Obtain the fee, inclusions and expected appointment window in writing for your PIN code. A retailer’s “installation available” label without a price or scope is not enough to compare offers.
Decide whether you need wall mounting
Table-top setup and wall mounting are different jobs. If you will use the stand, confirm that the furniture is wide, level and able to support the set. If you will mount it, ask for the bracket dimensions, wall type, drilling method and cable route before the appointment. Even when a bracket is in the carton, the installer may need to confirm that it suits the wall and may charge for masonry or concealment work. Never assume that a chargeable demo includes those extras.
Prepare the room before delivery
Choose a stable table or a wall that can safely support the television, provide a nearby power socket and leave ventilation space around the set. Check the wall material before agreeing to drilling. Photograph the sealed carton and its labels before opening; if the carton is crushed, wet or punctured, record it with the delivery agent and contact the seller before installation.

4. Check the exact model listing and every item in the box
Accessories are model-specific. Do not rely on a photograph from a different size or series. Open the precise listing for the model you intend to buy and look for an “In the box”, “What’s included” or mounting-accessories section. Save a screenshot because listings can be edited after the order.
Example: the official 50A6K listing
Hisense India’s official page identifies the 50A6K as a 2023 model and lists these contents:
| Item | What to verify |
|---|---|
| TV unit | Model label and serial number match the invoice and carton. |
| Remote | Correct remote for the model; check for damage. |
| Table-top stand | Both stand pieces and all fixing screws are present. |
| Wall-mount bracket | Bracket is present and compatible with your intended mounting position. |
| Two AAA batteries | Included batteries are present; they may be packaged separately. |
| User manual | Manual corresponds to the model or series. |
| Warranty card | Card and terms match the written coverage you were promised. |
This list applies to that 50A6K page only. Other Hisense models or sellers may omit an item, substitute hardware or package a different stand. Because a wall-mount bracket is listed for this model, do not automatically buy a separate bracket before checking your own listing. Confirm the bracket’s suitability with the installer and the wall type.
Inspect before signing off
- Photograph the carton, model sticker and serial number.
- Open the package with the delivery or installation representative present where possible.
- Check the panel, bezel, stand, remote and cables for visible damage.
- Confirm the box contents against the saved model listing and packing list.
- Power on the TV and test the remote, HDMI inputs, Wi-Fi connection, speakers and screen for obvious defects.
- Have any shortage or damage written on the delivery or installation record and report it promptly to the seller.
5. Compare two listings or sellers on the evidence that matters
Price and screen size are not sufficient when two offers appear similar. Use the following worksheet and complete every cell from written, transaction-specific information.
| Check | Seller A | Seller B | What counts as a usable answer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warranty duration | Write the stated period | Write the stated period | Exact model, invoice date and comprehensive coverage identified. |
| Exclusions | List panel, parts and damage exclusions | List panel, parts and damage exclusions | Warranty card or written terms, not a verbal claim. |
| Service at your PIN code | Yes/no plus written reference | Yes/no plus written reference | Confirmation for the model and installation location. |
| Escalation route | Phone, email and ticket process | Phone, email and ticket process | Named channel and documents required. |
| Installation fee | Amount or “not stated” | Amount or “not stated” | Fee, tax treatment and payment recipient identified. |
| Installation scope | Unboxing/demo/wall mount details | Unboxing/demo/wall mount details | Included work and exclusions written down. |
| Appointment timing | Promised window | Promised window | How scheduling works after delivery. |
| Included accessories | Copy exact model-listing contents | Copy exact model-listing contents | Stand, bracket, remote, batteries, manual and warranty card checked. |
The official material does not support a reliable numerical comparison of Hisense warranty quality, service quality, response times or parts availability. If a seller cannot answer one of these rows, mark it “not stated” rather than assuming the most favourable interpretation.

Use invoice identity as a tie-breaker
When two offers have the same model code, prefer the one that clearly identifies the legal seller, supplies a tax invoice and confirms the warranty and installation arrangements in writing. A lower price does not compensate for an unidentified seller, an invoice with the wrong model number or an installation promise that cannot be traced to the order. Keep the order page and invoice together so the promised terms can be matched to the delivered serial number.
6. A purchase-day checklist
- Confirm the full model code, screen size and model year on the order.
- Match the seller name and purchase channel to the written warranty response.
- Check that the invoice will show the correct model and your purchase date.
- Save the warranty card, terms, product listing and installation promise as PDFs or screenshots.
- Reconfirm service availability for your PIN code and retain the support reference.
- Confirm the installation fee, wall-mount scope and appointment process.
- Check whether the model listing includes a stand, bracket, remote, batteries, manual and warranty card.
- Do not treat a past promotion, marketplace badge or salesperson statement as a current warranty promise.
7. If something goes wrong after delivery
The warranty period is missing or different
Stop relying on the listing description. Send the seller the invoice and the written promise you received, and ask for the applicable warranty card and terms for that serial number. If the matter is not resolved, contact Hisense through the verified customer-care channel and use the escalation route with your order and ticket records.

No installer contacts you
Check whether the installation fee was paid to the retailer or is payable to the installer. Ask the seller for the booking reference and a new appointment window. Do not allow an unknown person to drill or open the TV without confirming that the visit is the arranged service.
An accessory is missing
Compare the sealed-box contents with the exact model listing you saved. Photograph the carton, packing list and missing item, then report the shortage to the seller promptly. Do not buy a replacement bracket or stand until the seller confirms that the item was not supposed to be included.
Service is unavailable at your address
Request a written explanation and ask whether an alternative authorised route exists, such as a nearby service location or a retailer-coordinated visit. Keep the request number and escalate with the invoice, PIN code and model details. The original service confirmation is important evidence of what you were told before purchase.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.8. The minimum evidence to keep
Create one folder containing the invoice, order page, serial-number photograph, warranty card, written warranty replies, installation quotation, appointment messages and service tickets. Record the date and channel for each conversation. This file prevents a dispute from becoming an argument over what was said and lets support identify the exact television quickly.
9. A ready-to-send pre-purchase message
For consistency, send the same short request to the seller and Hisense support: “Please confirm in writing the comprehensive warranty duration and exclusions for Hisense model ______, purchased from ______ on an invoice dated ______. Is service available at PIN code ______? Who schedules installation and demo, what is the charge, and does it include wall mounting? Please also confirm the exact in-box accessories.” Attach the listing or quote showing the model code. A complete reply gives you something specific to compare; a generic “standard warranty” response leaves the key terms unanswered.
10. How to interpret vague answers
Words such as “up to,” “usually,” “as per policy” or “free installation” need follow-up. Ask which policy, which invoice dates, which model series and which partner apply. “Free installation” may describe only unboxing and demonstration, while wall mounting or difficult drilling can be separate. “Service available in India” does not answer whether a technician serves your PIN code. Mark any unresolved item as not stated and price the uncertainty into your decision rather than assuming the best case.
The safest buying decision is the offer with the clearest written warranty, confirmed local service path, itemised installation terms and model-specific box contents—not necessarily the lowest advertised price.

Frequently Asked Questions
What warranty does a Hisense TV have in India?
Hisense India’s current Product Warranty Information page displayed “No warranty information available,” so it does not establish one standard duration. Ask for the warranty card and written terms for the exact model, seller, purchase channel and invoice date. Do not apply the expired 2024 four-year offer to a current purchase.
Does every Hisense TV include four years of warranty?
No current blanket offer can be inferred. A legacy promotion covered only 65E7K, 55E7K, 50E7K and 43E7K on invoices dated 15 February through 29 February 2024. It is not evidence for a 2026 purchase or another model.
How can I check Hisense service near my PIN code?
Ask Hisense to confirm service for your exact PIN code and model in writing. The listed customer-care number is 1800 266 1969 and the escalation address is in.servicehead@hisense.com; verify both on the official contact page before using them.
Is Hisense TV installation free in India?
Do not assume so. One Hisense India listing says Croma coordinates installation and demo on a chargeable basis. That is a retailer-specific example. Confirm the fee, who collects it, appointment timing and whether wall mounting is included for your order.
Does a Hisense TV box include a wall-mount bracket?
It depends on the model and seller. The official 50A6K page lists a table-top stand and wall-mount bracket, along with the TV, remote, two AAA batteries, manual and warranty card. Check your exact listing and sealed-box contents before buying a separate bracket.
What should I photograph when the TV arrives?
Photograph the sealed carton, model and serial labels, the opened contents and any panel or accessory damage. Match the serial number to the invoice, compare the contents with the saved listing and have shortages or damage recorded on the delivery or installation record.
Who might visit for Hisense after-sales service?
Hisense’s privacy policy allows contractors, retailers or after-sales partners to be involved. It does not identify an authorised provider for every city. Ask which organisation is handling your request and retain the ticket and escalation path.

The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Buy only after the exact warranty, PIN-code service route, installation charge and scope, and model-specific box contents are documented. The clearest written offer is safer than the cheapest headline price.
