The Trent & Steele TS65 is an oval slow cooker with a claimed 6.5-litre capacity, a ceramic bowl and a listed one-year warranty. CHOICE marks the model as discontinued, and its publicly accessible listing does not reveal the cooking or ease-of-use test scores. That means its specifications can be described, but the available evidence does not establish whether it cooks well or how it ranks against other slow cookers.

CHOICE’s TS65 listing also marks the model discontinued. It displays a $30 price, but that is a figure shown on the review page—not confirmation of a current offer or a reliable valuation for a used cooker.

Does the TS65 cook well?
The accessible CHOICE page lists fields for an expert rating, low- and high-setting cooking scores, ease of use and food temperatures at the end of cooking. Those results are restricted to members, so the public listing does not show the scores. It therefore cannot substantiate claims about cooking consistency, whether the cooker runs hot or cool, or how it compares with another model.

CHOICE says its slow-cooker testing considers performance on low and high settings without drying out food, as well as ease of use. Its slow-cooker comparison page, updated 30 November 2025, includes other products with a claimed 6.5-litre capacity. Much of the model-level scoring is also member-only. The published information supports using those test categories to guide a comparison, but not assigning the TS65 a performance rating.
What to check if you find one used
Since CHOICE lists the TS65 as discontinued, a new unit should not be assumed to be available. For a second-hand cooker, confirm its condition and that the parts you need are present before buying. The published specifications can help you assess its size and bowl care, but they do not establish the condition of an individual unit.

- Check that the cooker, ceramic bowl and lid are included and show no damage that would prevent safe, practical use.
- Compare its listed 25 × 38 × 29 cm footprint with the counter or storage space you have.
- Consider whether a claimed 6.5-litre capacity suits the meals you plan to make; the listing does not establish usable capacity.
- Do not assume a replacement bowl, lid or other accessory will fit: compatible TS65 parts are not established by the available listing.
