The HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 14-ef2024TU is listed with a Core i7-1355U, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and a 13.5-inch 1920 × 1280 display. CHOICE’s Australian product page marks it discontinued and lists AU$2,999, but that is not a verified current price or proof that it is unavailable everywhere. CHOICE’s public page does not show its expert rating, test scores, or tester comments, so this review assesses the published specifications rather than claiming independent performance or battery testing.
What the exact 14-ef2024TU configuration includes
CHOICE identifies the 14-ef2024TU as a Windows 11 Home convertible with these specifications. These are claims for the named Australian-market SKU, not assumptions drawn from another Spectre configuration.

| Memory | 16 GB RAM |
| Storage | 512 GB SSD |

The published resolution works out to a 3:2 aspect ratio, which gives the screen more vertical space than a typical 16:9 panel. The listing does not identify the display technology or establish brightness, color coverage, refresh rate, or measured image quality. Those details matter if you are choosing the laptop for color-sensitive creative work or frequent outdoor use.
CHOICE’s Australian page lists AU$2,999 and labels the product “Discontinued model.” The page does not date that price, and it should not be treated as a current retail quote. A listing can persist after stock changes; check the seller, region, condition, and exact model number before buying. CHOICE’s 14-ef2024TU listing

How much can you rely on this review?
The public CHOICE page does not disclose the expert rating, test scores, or tester comments for this model; those details are member-only. There is therefore no accessible exact-model public test result here to support claims about speed in real applications, display quality, fan noise, thermals, or battery runtime.
On specifications alone, the i7-1355U, 16 GB of memory, and 512 GB SSD make this a well-equipped general-purpose configuration on paper. That is not a measured performance verdict: workload, cooling, software, and power settings can affect real results. Likewise, Intel Iris Xe is the listed graphics solution, but the available public information does not establish gaming performance or suitability for demanding graphics work.

HP’s support page describes the broader 14-ef2000 family, gives March 2023 as the series release date, and lists i5-1335U and i7-1355U processor options. It also describes 13.5-inch WUXGA+ display options and two USB4/Thunderbolt Type-C ports, one USB-A port, and a headphone/microphone combo port. HP explicitly warns that configurations vary by country or region. These are family-level details; they do not confirm every listed feature for the 14-ef2024TU. HP’s 14-ef2000 family specifications

A separate HP datasheet describes the 14-ef2000nx, a different regional configuration. That document lists a 13.5-inch 3K2K OLED touchscreen, a 66 Wh battery, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD reader, and an included HP Rechargeable MPP2.0 Tilt Pen. None of those details is confirmed for the TU model by the exact-model listing. The pen should not be assumed to be included with, or compatible with, the 14-ef2024TU without checking the exact configuration and accessory compatibility.

HP’s nx datasheet estimates “up to 13 hours and 30 minutes” under MobileMark 18. That is a manufacturer estimate for the related nx configuration, not an independent result or an exact-TU battery figure. HP also says battery life varies with configuration, workload, settings, wireless use, and battery aging. Its description of the convertible hinge and camera—“The 360° design rotates for the perfect position, while the dynamic camera features let you look your best live.”—is manufacturer marketing language for that datasheet, not an independent finding about the reviewed TU SKU. What to check before buying a discontinued listing
Use the full product name, HP Spectre x360 14-ef2024TU, when checking listings, and verify the exact model and regional configuration rather than relying on a broad “Spectre x360 14” label.

- Confirm that the processor is Core i7-1355U, memory is 16 GB, storage is 512 GB, and the display is listed as 13.5-inch 1920 × 1280.
- Ask the seller to identify the display technology and ports for the actual unit; do not infer OLED, Thunderbolt 4, or a microSD reader from the related nx datasheet.
- Check whether the device is new, used, or refurbished, and confirm the return policy and warranty coverage that apply in your country.
- Compare the seller’s current price and availability with other exact regional configurations. The AU$2,999 figure on CHOICE’s page is not a live market quote.
- If battery life is central to your decision, look for independent measurements of the exact configuration under stated test conditions; the nx vendor estimate is not a substitute.
How it compares with alternatives
The available public information supports a comparison of listed specifications, not a reliable ranking based on real-world performance. For another convertible, compare the exact regional SKU’s screen technology and resolution, RAM and storage, weight, ports, warranty, and current price. For battery life or sustained performance, use independent measurements that identify the tested configuration and methodology. A family name alone is not enough to establish that two laptops have the same screen, ports, battery, or included accessories.

Verdict
The 14-ef2024TU’s listed core configuration is clear: Core i7-1355U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Intel Iris Xe, and a 13.5-inch 1920 × 1280 screen in a 1.4 kg Windows 11 Home convertible. But the public evidence does not establish its tested performance, battery life, display quality, or all port details. Treat CHOICE’s discontinued label and AU$2,999 listing as historical page information rather than a current availability or pricing guarantee, and buy only after verifying the exact regional SKU and seller terms.
