The TiMate GripNGo Vault is a compact keyring screwdriver that carries six small driver bits, with two positions that can instead hold a mini utility blade and an inkless pen. Its roughly two-inch body is suited to minor fixes and everyday carry, not jobs that need the reach or leverage of a full-size screwdriver.
What fits in the GripNGo Vault?
New Atlas reports that the Vault stores six 4 mm driver bits in a CNC-machined grade 5 titanium body. Two bit positions can be exchanged for the included mini utility blade and inkless pen, so carrying those inserts means giving up two of the six bit positions.
The reported design uses a push-slide lock, magnetic bit storage and a magnetic hex socket. Those features are intended to keep the compact kit together and hold a bit in the driver; the coverage does not establish independent test results for retention or durability. Blade and pen uses
The product coverage describes the blade as suitable for light cutting, such as opening packages or cutting cord. The inkless pen is reported to mark paper, wood and walls without a conventional ink refill. These are product-reported capabilities, not independently verified performance, and neither insert turns the Vault into a substitute for a dedicated knife or writing instrument.

How small and light is it?
New Atlas gives the Vault’s length as 52.5 mm (just over 2 inches) and its weight as 45 g (1.6 oz). T3 also describes it as about two inches long and 45 g. These are published figures, not measurements from hands-on testing. At that size, it is easier to keep on a keyring than a conventional tool kit, but the compact handle limits reach and leverage. T3’s coverage notes that limitation and positions the tool for small everyday jobs rather than demanding repairs.
When is a keychain screwdriver useful?
The Vault’s strongest use case is having a small driver and a few bits available when a minor adjustment comes up away from a toolbox. It may suit a loose small screw or another light task when the correct bit is already carried. Its short body is a poor choice when a screw is tight, recessed, awkward to reach, or requires sustained turning force: a larger screwdriver gives the user more grip, reach and leverage.

What did the campaign coverage say about price and shipping?
New Atlas reported a US$45 Kickstarter pledge and an expected US$70 MSRP, with six bits plus the blade and pen inserts included. It also reported a US$12 add-on for a 20-piece bit set and worldwide shipping planned for December 2026. Those are campaign-era terms reported on August 21, 2026—not confirmed current pricing, retail availability or proof that shipments occurred. Crowdfunding carries delivery uncertainty, and the reporting does not establish Amazon availability.

What to verify before relying on one
- Whether the Vault is currently available from a seller with clear fulfillment terms, rather than relying on an old campaign price or shipping estimate.
- Which six bits are included in the configuration being offered and whether the blade and pen are included or optional.
- That replacement bits match the reported 4 mm format and the needed driver geometry.
- Whether a keyring-sized tool provides enough leverage for the specific repair; for anything tight or demanding, use a larger driver.
