Grave Seasons is confirmed for Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and the original Nintendo Switch (Switch 1). Perfect Garbage’s developer FAQ gives March 9, 2027 as the release date, while the PlayStation Store currently displays September 3, 2027 for its PS5 listing. Because the official sources do not explain the difference, check the store page for your chosen system before making firm plans.

Perfect Garbage’s official Steam community FAQ answers “Where can I play?” with PC (Windows), Xbox S|X, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 1. No official source reviewed for this FAQ lists Xbox One, PS4 or Nintendo Switch 2. Do not treat the confirmed list as backward compatibility information: a game announced for Xbox Series X|S or PS5 is not automatically announced for the previous console generation.
Which release date should you use?
The developer’s September 30 update says the launch was pushed back to March 9, 2027. The same announcement describes that date as the result of moving away from a Fall 2026 target while the team worked on console ports, optimization, polish and bug fixes.

The PS5 product page currently shows September 3, 2027 instead. Neither the developer FAQ nor the September 30 announcement explains whether the PlayStation date represents a platform-specific schedule, a placeholder, a later revision or another store-system issue. It should therefore be reported as a conflict, not silently “corrected” to one date.
For practical planning, use March 9, 2027 as the developer-announced date and recheck the PlayStation Store if you intend to play on PS5. Store listings can change, and the page for the platform you will use is the most relevant source when preloading, taking time off or arranging a purchase.
The two dates should not be blended into a single promise. March 9 is the date stated by Perfect Garbage for the delayed launch, while September 3 is the date currently displayed by Sony’s storefront for the PS5 product page. Until one of those sources is updated or the developer explains the difference, the responsible answer is to show both and identify the uncertainty.

Windows PC
The PC version is confirmed for Windows, and an official Steam store listing exists. Steam’s extracted listing still shows the older “planned 2026” wording and says the game is not yet available. That entry has not caught up with the newer developer announcement, so the March 9, 2027 date is the more current statement for release planning.
The announcement does not provide minimum or recommended PC specifications in the material available here. Until Perfect Garbage publishes them, avoid assuming that any particular processor, graphics card, memory amount or operating-system build is sufficient. A Steam page can establish that a Windows version is planned without establishing its final performance requirements.
There is also no confirmed PC demo in the current information. A store page that says “not yet available” is not evidence that a trial build will be offered. Watch for a separately labeled demo or a developer announcement rather than downloading files from unofficial mirrors.
Xbox Series X|S
Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are both named in the developer FAQ. The announcement says a porting partner is working on the console versions so that the launches are smooth, which indicates that console optimization is part of the schedule rather than an afterthought.

The sources do not confirm an Xbox One release. Owners of the older console should not infer support from the Series X|S announcement, and should wait for a separate backward-compatibility or Xbox One listing before assuming they can play there.
The available announcements also do not specify an Xbox edition, performance mode, resolution target or achievement details. Those are normal store-page questions, but they remain unanswered here. Check the Xbox listing when it is published for the exact product name, supported consoles and any edition information.
PlayStation 5
PS5 is explicitly confirmed by the developer and has a PlayStation Store page. It is the only platform in the current evidence with a storefront date that conflicts with the developer’s announced March date: the store displays September 3, 2027.
That discrepancy matters if you are choosing between versions. A PS5 player should monitor the listing directly rather than relying on a date copied from a PC or Xbox page. The existence of a PS5 listing confirms the intended platform, but it does not resolve which of the two displayed dates will govern launch.

Do not assume that the September date means a separate PS5 launch, a delay affecting only Sony’s console or a placeholder. None of those explanations is confirmed. If you are buying a PS5 game for a specific event, trip or vacation, leave room for the date to change and verify the page again near launch.
Nintendo Switch 1
The FAQ specifically says “Nintendo Switch 1.” In this context, that means the original Nintendo Switch family, not an automatically implied Nintendo Switch 2 version. The announcement does not establish whether the game will receive a performance-enhanced build for newer Nintendo hardware.
No reviewed official source confirms a physical Switch cartridge or boxed edition. A digital listing, a later retail announcement and a physical release are separate matters, so do not assume that a confirmed Switch platform guarantees a cartridge.

If portability is your reason for choosing Switch, wait for the Nintendo eShop page to confirm availability in your region. The platform announcement establishes the intended hardware family, but it does not yet provide a cartridge date, file-size requirement, control options or details about performance on the original system.

Perfect Garbage originally targeted Fall 2026. Its September 30 announcement says the team chose to push the launch to March 9, 2027 to give the project more time for console ports, optimization, polish and bug fixes. It also says the developer is working with a porting partner to make the console launches smooth.
This explanation is useful when interpreting the date: March is not merely a Steam schedule update. It is the developer’s stated target for the wider launch effort across PC and consoles. The statement does not, however, reconcile the separate September date shown on the PS5 store page.
A delay for porting and optimization can affect when individual storefront pages are updated. That is a reason to watch first-party listings, not a reason to assume one platform has been canceled or secretly moved. No cancellation is announced for any of the four confirmed platforms.
What kind of game is it?
Grave Seasons is described as an isometric pixel-art murder-mystery farming and life simulation game. Players farm, investigate events and try to protect residents from a supernatural serial killer. The combination means platform choice can affect how you prefer to play: a Windows setup may suit players who want keyboard-and-mouse options and PC storefront updates, while a console or Switch version may be preferable for a living-room or handheld session.
The official Steam community FAQ gives the game an M rating and warns that its horror scenes can be quite violent. That rating is content context, not a performance specification; parents and players who avoid graphic horror should consider it before purchasing.

Switch 2 support
The developer confirms Nintendo Switch 1 but does not confirm Nintendo Switch 2. Until a new official announcement names that system, treat the two consoles as different cases. A Switch 1 release may or may not run on newer hardware through compatibility features, but the available information does not establish a native Switch 2 version.
Physical editions
No reviewed source confirms a cartridge, boxed console edition or retailer distribution plan. If you prefer physical games, wait for a publisher or developer announcement that specifies the format and regions rather than relying on the existence of the digital platform announcement.

- Check the technical details when they appear. PC buyers should wait for minimum and recommended specifications. Console buyers should look for supported-generation wording, edition names and any notes about digital-only availability.
