To play Valheim, Enshrouded, and RuneScape: Dragonwilds on one PC, target a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 system with 16 GB of RAM, an SSD, and a graphics card around the GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT-to-RX 6700 XT class. Pair it with a modern six-core processor, keep at least 60 GB of free SSD space, and use current graphics drivers.
That specification covers the highest published recommendations among the three games, especially Enshrouded. It does not guarantee a particular frame rate: the official requirement pages do not state a common FPS target, test resolution, graphics preset, or integrated-graphics guarantee.
The practical PC target for all three games
The easiest way to avoid buying for only the lightest game is to build around Enshrouded, which has the strongest recommended processor, memory, graphics, and storage requirements. A sensible shared target is:

This is a compatibility target, not a benchmark result. A faster or slower system can perform differently depending on resolution, graphics settings, world size, background programs, drivers, and later game updates.

Official requirements, game by game
Valheim
Valheim is by far the least demanding of the three on storage and recommended graphics hardware. Its official listing specifies DirectX 11 and a small 1 GB storage requirement.

The 8 GB minimum is enough to launch according to the listing, but 16 GB is the recommended tier and is the practical amount if you also want to run either of the other games. The listed GTX 1060/RX 580 recommendation is substantially below the graphics level published for Enshrouded and Dragonwilds.

Enshrouded
Enshrouded sets the combined target. Its minimum specification already calls for 16 GB of RAM, a 6 GB graphics card, broadband internet, and 60 GB of storage. An SSD is recommended at the recommended tier.

Because the game specifies 6 GB of video memory even at minimum, compare the VRAM figure as well as the GPU model when evaluating an older card. A card with a similar name but less memory may not match the published requirement.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds
RuneScape: Dragonwilds sits between the other two in storage and graphics demand. It uses DirectX 12 and lists 8 GB of RAM at minimum, rising to 16 GB for the recommendation.

The Arc A750 and A770 references show that Intel graphics cards are included in the published lists, but the game pages do not provide a separate integrated-graphics target.
How the three requirement lists compare
Memory: 16 GB is the sensible baseline
Valheim and Dragonwilds list 8 GB as minimum and 16 GB as recommended. Enshrouded lists 16 GB in both columns. Therefore, 16 GB is the first upgrade to prioritize on a machine with 8 GB, especially if you keep a browser, voice chat, or recording software open while playing.
Graphics: Enshrouded determines the ceiling
Valheim‘s recommended GTX 1060/RX 580 is the lightest tier. Dragonwilds raises the recommendation to an RTX 2070 or RX 5700 XT. Enshrouded is higher again with an RTX 2070 Super, RX 6700 XT, or Arc A770. A system built around that Enshrouded tier also clears the published recommended GPU levels for the other two, although the official pages do not promise identical frame rates across them.
Processor: favor modern six-core performance
The strongest listed recommendation is Enshrouded‘s i7-8700 or Ryzen 7 2700X. Dragonwilds recommends an i5-10600 or Ryzen 5 3600, while Valheim names a 3 GHz i5 or Ryzen 5. If your processor is below the minimum model in one game, changing the graphics card alone may not solve stutter or slow simulation. Check the CPU generation, core count, and clock class together rather than relying only on the product name.
Storage: capacity and drive type both matter
The numbers are 1 GB for Valheim, 25 GB for Dragonwilds, and 60 GB for Enshrouded. Allow additional free space for patches and operating-system overhead; the 60 GB figure is the listed game requirement, not a recommendation to fill an SSD completely. Enshrouded specifically recommends an SSD, making solid-state storage the sensible choice for a shared installation.

Windows and graphics APIs
All three are 64-bit Windows titles in the published requirements. Valheim uses DirectX 11, while Dragonwilds uses DirectX 12. Enshrouded‘s listed requirements do not specify a DirectX version in the supplied table. A 32-bit Windows installation is therefore outside the stated platform requirements.

- Press
Windows+R, enterdxdiag, and press Enter. On the System tab, record the Windows edition, processor, and installed memory. On the Display tab, record the graphics card name and dedicated display memory. - Open Task Manager with
Ctrl+Shift+Esc, select Performance, and confirm the CPU model, total memory, GPU model, and whether your game drive is an SSD. Windows may identify the drive type directly; otherwise check the drive’s Properties or the manufacturer’s specifications. - Compare the results with the minimum column for each game. Any component below minimum is a compatibility risk, not merely a quality-setting compromise.
- For a single machine intended to cover all three, compare against the combined target: 16 GB RAM, an SSD with at least 60 GB free, and a GPU near the RTX 2070/2070 Super, RX 5700 XT/RX 6700 XT, or Arc A770 class.
Integrated graphics are not guaranteed by any of the supplied requirement pages. If your computer uses graphics built into the processor, treat the published discrete-card minimums as unmet unless the game developer provides separate integrated-graphics guidance.
Upgrade priorities when a game will not run well
- Install current graphics drivers. Jagex’s technical-support guidance warns that outdated drivers can cause issues in one game or program even when other games work correctly. Update through the GPU manufacturer’s official driver channel, restart Windows, and test again.
- Move the installation to an SSD. This is especially relevant to Enshrouded, whose recommended requirements call for an SSD. Keep adequate free space rather than operating at the drive’s limit.
- Increase RAM to 16 GB. This meets the recommended memory level for every title and the minimum for Enshrouded.
- Upgrade the GPU if it is below the listed graphics tier. Use the exact VRAM requirement as a filter: Enshrouded lists 6 GB cards, and Dragonwilds lists 6 GB or 8 GB examples depending on model.
- Address the CPU only after checking the model. A processor below the minimum can limit world simulation and loading even with a sufficient GPU. For the combined target, the i7-8700/Ryzen 7 2700X class is the highest published recommendation.
What the requirements do not tell you
None of the official pages supplied for this comparison publishes a standardized frame-rate figure, target resolution, graphics preset, or test system. Consequently, it would be misleading to promise 60 FPS, a specific resolution, or a particular preset solely from these lists. Two computers that meet the same recommendation can produce different results because of cooling, power limits, driver versions, background load, game updates, and display resolution.

Use the minimum column as a threshold for support, not a performance guarantee. Use the recommended column as the developer’s stronger reference point, not a universal benchmark. If you need a specific FPS target, look for a benchmark that names the exact game version, resolution, preset, and hardware rather than inferring it from the requirement table.
A buying and setup checklist
- 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 installed and fully updated.
- 16 GB of system RAM in a compatible dual-channel configuration where the motherboard supports it.
- A six-core-or-better CPU in the general performance class of the published recommended processors.
- A discrete GPU around the RTX 2070/2070 Super, RX 5700 XT/RX 6700 XT, or Arc A770 class, with the required VRAM.
- An SSD with at least 60 GB free before installing Enshrouded, plus room for updates.
- DirectX support appropriate to the game: DirectX 11 for Valheim and DirectX 12 for Dragonwilds.
- Broadband internet, which appears in the published requirement lists for online functionality.
- Current graphics drivers and no pending Windows restart after driver installation.
Requirements can change after major patches or platform releases. Recheck the current Steam or publisher support listing before a purchase or a major upgrade, particularly for storage size and driver compatibility.
