InvoiceCloud is a cloud-based electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) service. A utility, insurer, municipality, tax office, or other biller connects its billing or customer-information system to InvoiceCloud. The service then shows customers their bills, accepts digital and assisted payments, sends reminders, supports paperless billing and AutoPay, and sends transaction data back to the biller for reconciliation and reporting.
For customers, InvoiceCloud is usually the payment page, mobile experience, text message, email link, phone system, kiosk, or assisted-payment location used to settle a bill. For the organization issuing the bill, it is a payment and engagement layer that works alongside existing billing, ERP, CRM, policy-administration, and customer-information systems rather than replacing them.
What InvoiceCloud does
InvoiceCloud is software delivered over the internet for electronic bill presentment and payment. “Presentment” means delivering the bill and account information in a digital channel; “payment” covers the transaction itself and the downstream work needed to post, reconcile, and report it.
A connected biller can let a customer view a current balance, review account details, select a payment method, save preferences, and receive reminders without requiring a call-center agent. The organization can use the same platform to manage paperless enrollment, scheduled payments, AutoPay, notifications, and transaction reporting.

The platform is aimed at high-volume, customer-facing organizations. It is not a consumer bank account or a general-purpose accounting system. The biller remains responsible for the underlying charge, account record, refund policy, and service relationship; InvoiceCloud provides the digital interaction and payment-processing workflow around those records.
How the InvoiceCloud workflow works
1. The biller connects its existing systems
The first step is a connection to the system that owns the customer and billing record. InvoiceCloud describes pre-built connectors plus APIs and software-development kits (SDKs) for customer-information systems (CIS), enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) platforms, customer-relationship-management (CRM) systems, policy-administration software, and billing applications.
The partner catalog lists ecosystems including Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and Customer to Meter (C2M), SAP S/4HANA and IS-U, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Tyler Technologies, SpryPoint, NorthStar, Cayenta, and Milsoft. A pre-built connector can reduce custom interface work, while an API or SDK is used when the organization needs a tailored data exchange or a system that is not covered by a standard connector.
Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

The exact project effort depends on the biller’s systems, data quality, security review, and notification requirements.
2. Bills and account information are presented
After the connection is operating, customers can reach a bill through a registered account or guest checkout. Registered users can manage multiple accounts or properties, which is useful for households with several services, landlords, property managers, and business customers.

- Compatibility Information: Please ensure that our receipt printer is compatible with your device. The Ethernet interface supports Windows, Mac OS, Linux, VirtualCom, Android, RaspberryPi and iOS. But the USB interface could only support Windows, Mac OS, Linux, VirtualCom and Android. Additionally, it does not support Ubereats, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, Clover, or Shopify for POS software.
- Fast Printing & Auto Cutter: This high-efficiency thermal receipt printer boasts a maximum printing speed of 260mm/s, ensuring quick and efficient printing without any paper jams. The automatic cutter is designed to handle heavy usage and can last up to 1.5 million cuts. With a one-button open cover and a spacious paper warehouse, this POS printer is easy to use and maintain. Additionally, the receipt printers utilizes direct thermal printing technology, eliminating the need for ribbons or ink.
- USB & Ethernet Interface: The receipt printer has USB and Ethernet interfaces, as well as cash drawer RJ11 ports. However, it does not support Bluetooth or WiFi printing. With a 203 dpi resolution, the Ethernet receipt printer produces high-quality prints that are sharp and clear. To develop custom applications on Ethernet-supported systems like iOS and Android, a software development kit (SDK) is necessary.
- Wall Mount Option: The kitchen printer has a wall mount option with two hanging holes at the bottom, allowing it to easily fit into any space. This USB receipt printer is an excellent choice for various establishments such as restaurants, kitchens, retail stores, grocery stores, clothing stores, supermarkets, cafes, ticket points, food trucks, banks, shopping malls, hotels, canteens, and more.
- Customer Service in the United States: Our team of customer support based in the United States is ready to help you with any problems you may have regarding the integration of the direct thermal printer. Whether you require assistance with setup, connection, compatibility, or any other issues related to the product, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Additionally, all Volcora products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring your peace of mind when making a purchase.
Customers can view the amount due and account details, choose paperless billing, and manage payment preferences. Guest checkout is intended for a one-time payment when a person does not want to create or use a persistent login. The information a guest must provide is determined by the biller and its account-matching rules.
3. The customer chooses a payment channel
InvoiceCloud supports cards, ACH or eCheck, digital wallets, scheduled payments, and AutoPay. Those options can be exposed through a web page or mobile experience, but the service also supports assisted and proactive channels such as text-to-pay, pay-by-email, interactive voice response (IVR), kiosks, and supported in-person cash locations.
Quick wins for a faster PC:

|---|---|
| Web and mobile | Customers sign in or use guest checkout to view a bill and submit a payment. |
| Card | Payment by a supported debit or credit card. |
| ACH/eCheck | Electronic payment from a bank account. |
| Digital wallet | Payment through a supported wallet presented in the payment experience. |
| Scheduled payment | A customer selects a future payment date instead of paying immediately. |
| AutoPay | Recurring payments are initiated according to the customer’s authorization and the biller’s rules. |
| Text-to-pay | A text message directs the customer to a payment flow. |
| Pay-by-email | An email reminder includes a route to the payment experience. |
| IVR | A customer pays through an automated telephone system. |
| Kiosk or supported cash location | Customers use an assisted, self-service, or in-person cash option where the biller offers it. |
Availability is controlled by the individual biller. A utility may enable AutoPay and text reminders, while a tax office may emphasize guest checkout, kiosks, or cash acceptance. A customer should use the payment channels shown on the biller’s official page rather than assume every option is enabled.
4. Reminders and self-service reduce avoidable contacts
Billers can configure email, SMS, and voice reminders. Messages may alert a customer that a bill is ready, approaching its due date, or overdue, subject to the organization’s communication policy and consent requirements.
Self-service tools are designed to let customers update payment preferences, enroll in paperless billing, manage multiple accounts, and complete routine payments without calling an agent. That can shift simple “How do I pay?” or “Did my payment go through?” requests away from a contact center, although exceptions, disputes, and account corrections still require the biller’s staff.

5. Payment results return to the biller
Once a transaction is submitted, payment and account data are returned to the connected billing environment. InvoiceCloud describes transaction consolidation, account matching, real-time reporting, and AI-assisted report generation. Reconciliation teams use those records to confirm that money received is associated with the correct account and to investigate exceptions such as returns, reversals, or unmatched transactions.

Utilities
Electric, water, gas, waste, and other utilities can combine recurring bills, paperless delivery, AutoPay, payment reminders, and account self-service. A utility may also use email, SMS, or voice communication for delinquency or outage-related information, while keeping the bill and payment record connected to its CIS.
Local governments and county tax offices
Government organizations can present several public-service charges through one payment experience. Examples listed for the platform include property or other taxes, utility charges, permits, court and police fines, parking violations, and school fees. Consolidating these services can give residents one place to pay different obligations, but each department still controls its own account rules and deadlines.
Insurance organizations
Insurers can use the platform for premium payments and related financial workflows. The vendor also describes claims disbursements, refunds, and agent commissions as insurance use cases. The precise combination depends on the insurer’s policy-administration and claims systems and on how money must be disbursed.
Integrations and implementation considerations
Integration is the dividing line between a simple payment link and an operational EBPP deployment. The project team needs to map the biller’s account identifiers, balances, due dates, payment statuses, notification preferences, and exception states to the fields used by InvoiceCloud.

Organizations should verify the connector version, supported data fields, batch or real-time behavior, sandbox access, error handling, and ownership of monitoring before signing an implementation plan. “Supported” does not automatically mean that every module, customization, or regional configuration is covered.
Portal and systems-integrator partners can participate through pre-built connectors, real-time data exchange, and coordinated support. For a biller, that can simplify responsibility across the billing-system provider, implementation partner, payment platform, and internal IT team. The contract should identify who handles incidents, certificate changes, failed files, and reconciliation discrepancies.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is InvoiceCloud safe?
InvoiceCloud says its service meets PCI, NACHA, and SOC requirements and uses end-to-end encryption, tokenization, multifactor authentication, role-based access, and continuous monitoring. These are statements from the vendor about its platform and controls, not a substitute for a customer’s own security review.
For a procurement or compliance review, ask for the specific certification or attestation scope, reporting period, covered environments, data-residency terms, subprocessors, breach-notification commitments, retention and deletion rules, and division of responsibility between the biller, InvoiceCloud, and payment processors. Confirm whether multifactor authentication is required for every administrative role, how privileged access is logged, and how support personnel are restricted.
Customers should still follow normal payment-safety practices: reach the payment page from the biller’s official website or a message they can verify, check that the account and amount are correct, avoid sharing one-time authentication codes, and retain the confirmation number. A legitimate platform can process a payment securely while a fraudulent message or look-alike page attempts to redirect the customer before that platform is reached.

Reconciliation, reporting, and automation
The operational benefit for a biller is not limited to accepting a card. InvoiceCloud describes consolidated transaction records, account matching, real-time reporting, and AI-assisted report generation. Those functions can help finance teams monitor payment volume, channel use, settlement status, and exceptions without manually combining separate files from web, phone, kiosk, and in-person channels.
Automation claims should be interpreted in the context of a biller’s configuration. A 99% reconciliation match rate, for example, still leaves exceptions that need a queue, ownership, and a documented correction process. The organization should test returned payments, duplicate submissions, partial payments, refunds, chargebacks, account transfers, and a bill that changes between scheduling and execution.
Scale and outcome claims
InvoiceCloud reported the following figures in August 2025:
Recommended Free Tools

|---|---|
| 3,250+ customers | InvoiceCloud company figure, reported August 2025. |
| $32 billion in annual payments processed | InvoiceCloud company figure, reported August 2025. |
| 500+ professionals | InvoiceCloud company figure, reported August 2025. |

| 99% reconciliation match rate | Conditional vendor-reported local-government result based on cited third-party or anonymized-data methodology. |
These numbers describe the vendor’s reported scale or selected outcome analyses. They are not guarantees that a particular utility, insurer, or government office will achieve the same adoption, collection speed, automation level, or match rate.
What customers should expect when paying a bill
- Open the biller’s payment route. Use the organization’s known website, official email, text message, phone number, kiosk, or listed cash location.
- Identify the account. Sign in to a registered account or enter the information required for guest checkout.
- Review the bill. Check the account, amount due, due date, and any available payment restrictions.
- Select a method. Choose a card, ACH/eCheck, wallet, scheduled payment, or AutoPay option that the biller has enabled.
- Confirm authorization. Review the amount and timing, then submit the payment or recurring authorization.
- Save the result. Keep the confirmation number or receipt and check the account later if the biller says posting is delayed.
If a payment fails, do not immediately submit repeated attempts without checking the bank or card account; duplicate authorizations can create additional reversals or holds. Contact the biller using its published support channel with the confirmation or error information.
Questions a biller should answer before deployment
- Which CIS, ERP, CRM, policy, or billing system is the system of record?
- Is the required connector available, and which functions still require API or custom work?
- Which payment channels will be enabled at launch, and which require separate operational support?
- How will guest payments, multiple properties, refunds, returns, chargebacks, and partial payments be matched?
- What consent, opt-out, accessibility, language, and retention rules apply to email, SMS, and voice reminders?
- Which PCI, NACHA, and SOC scopes apply to the proposed architecture and contract?
- What are the transaction, service, implementation, and support charges for this biller’s volume and channels?
- What reports are available in real time, and who owns unresolved reconciliation exceptions?
- How will an outage or integration failure be communicated to customers and staff?
InvoiceCloud does not have one universal public price that applies to every organization. Costs and responsibilities should therefore be evaluated in the biller’s proposal and contract, including implementation, transaction processing, assisted channels, support, and any optional communication or disbursement services.
