Unlocking all 30 Cursed relics in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies completes the collection and reportedly awards the animated Best Friends Camo. The relics do not grant a permanent character buff. Instead, they are optional challenge debuffs selected before a Cursed match; collecting more potent relics lets you start at higher Cursed Tiers and access better in-match purchases.
The all-30 reward
A 2026 community video-guide report identifies the animated Best Friends Camo as the reward for unlocking every relic. Activision’s official material located for this topic does not confirm that cosmetic name, so check the in-game challenge tracker if a later update changes the reward label or completion requirement.
The 30-relic collection spans four playable Cursed maps in the 2026 guide. Each relic is earned by completing its dedicated trial. Rex Infernus has no relic in this collection, so completing all 30 means finishing the relic trials on the four maps that support them.
Relics are selectable debuffs, not permanent upgrades
After a relic is unlocked, it becomes an option in the pre-match Cursed setup. Equipping it applies the relic’s negative effect during that run. Owning a relic does not activate its effect automatically, and owning all 30 does not create a passive player bonus.

The number and potency of the relics you equip determine how much Tier power your setup can generate. Higher Tier power raises the starting challenge level and opens stronger purchase rewards. You therefore get a larger build menu, not an always-on increase to health, damage, armor or equipment.

The figures above are reported tier rewards, not a guarantee that every match awards the listed currency automatically under every ruleset. The exact trigger is tied to the relevant armor or Pack-a-Punch level shown in the table.

- Sinister trials: All Grim relics must be unlocked, and the run must use a Tier 1 setup.
- Wicked trials: The run must use a Tier 2 setup.
In practical terms, the full collection gives you the ingredients for high-tier Cursed builds, but you still choose which modifiers to equip before each match. You can continue playing lower-tier setups when learning a map, playing solo, or practicing a specific trial.

Ashes of the Damned: the nine-relic milestone
Ashes of the Damned launched with nine relics, according to Call of Duty’s official launch article. The final one reported for the map is Samantha’s Drawing, a Tier 2 relic. Richard Devine of Windows Central reported on January 14, 2026, that completing its trial awards the relic and, when the other eight Ashes relics are already unlocked, completes the map’s Reliquary calling-card challenge.
Samantha’s Drawing has a particularly disruptive effect: Every weapon the player has will swap each round, but retain the Pack-a-Punch and rarity level.
Your loadout changes from round to round, but its Pack-a-Punch investment and rarity are preserved. That makes the relic a serious planning test rather than a simple damage penalty.

What changes when you equip every relic?
Equipping every available relic produces the maximum combination of selected debuffs and can generate enough Tier power for the highest Cursed setup. The trade-off is difficulty: more relics, and more potent relics, increase the severity of the run’s restrictions. The collection itself does not force every debuff into a match; the effects apply only when you select them.
Solo versus co-op considerations
- Solo: A full-relic setup gives one player maximum control over the challenge, but every restriction must be managed without teammates covering weak points or recovering a downed player.
- Co-op: Teams can divide roles and compensate for disruptive effects, but everyone should understand the selected relics before starting. A weapon-swapping effect such as Samantha’s Drawing can invalidate a carefully assigned loadout plan if the team has not prepared for it.
What you do and do not receive
- You do receive: completion of the 30-relic collection, access to all unlocked relic modifiers, the ability to build higher-Tier Cursed setups, and the reported animated Best Friends Camo.
- You do not receive: a permanent buff that applies in ordinary Zombies matches, automatic activation of all relic effects, or an automatic Tier 3 run simply because the collection is complete.
To use the collection, select a Cursed map, open the pre-match relic setup, choose the modifiers you want, and confirm the resulting Tier power before launching the match. If a trial requires a specific tier, match that requirement rather than assuming that owning additional relics satisfies it by itself.
