A Dyson vacuum deep-clean service can involve disassembly and cleaning of internal areas, but the exact package depends on the country and service offered. Dyson Japan’s cordless-vacuum deep-clean service includes detailed cleaning and replacement of the clear bin and filter. Dyson UK describes a separate Total Restore service, while Dyson US’s repair page does not promise the same package.
What Dyson Japan’s deep-clean service includes
Dyson Japan describes a service in which an engineer uses dedicated equipment to disassemble a cordless vacuum and clean it in detail, including internal dust and dirt that routine owner cleaning may not reach. A standard repair alone is different: Dyson Japan says it includes only simple cleaning, such as removing dust, rather than thorough internal disassembly and cleaning. The owner must request the deep-clean service for that work.

These prices are specific to Japan; confirm the current fee and terms with Dyson before booking. Dyson Japan says processing normally takes up to 72 hours from arrival at its service center to dispatch, subject to parts and product availability. That is a stated timeframe, not a guarantee for every case.

If inspection finds a fault
For an in-warranty fault, Dyson Japan says the repair is free but the cleaning fee remains payable. For an out-of-warranty fault, repair costs extra and Dyson will provide the price in advance. How services differ in the US and UK
United States: repair service, not a stated deep-clean package
Dyson US says a Service Engineer assesses the machine and advises what action is needed before work begins. For a qualifying in-warranty breakdown, Dyson says it will repair or replace the machine at no charge and use genuine parts for repairs. For an out-of-warranty or uncovered repair, a Service Center employee provides an estimated cost after inspection. The US page also describes shipping a machine for service when the owner cannot visit a center. Before sending in a US machine, provide its model and serial number and ask what cleaning is available locally, what the quoted fee covers, whether inspection might lead to a separately priced repair, and whether any parts will be replaced.
United Kingdom: Total Restore
Dyson UK describes Total Restore as checks, tests, a deep clean, and service intended to restore performance and extend the machine’s life. Ordering it authorizes Dyson to inspect and diagnose the machine and/or repair it. If a repairable fault is covered by the guarantee or statutory consumer warranty rights, Dyson says it will repair it free. Otherwise, Dyson will explain the applicable fee in advance and will not carry out paid repair without the customer’s agreement. What to confirm before booking
Service descriptions in one country do not establish what is available elsewhere. Check the local offer against these points:
- Which country and vacuum models are eligible?
- Will the machine be disassembled, and which internal areas will be cleaned?
- Are the filter, bin, or other parts replaced, or are replacements charged separately?
- Are diagnostic checks and any repair included, or will repair be quoted separately?
- What is the total price, including tax, shipping, and possible repair fees?
- What turnaround should you expect, and what happens if inspection finds a fault?
- How does the service affect warranty coverage?
For Canadian walk-in repairs, Dyson asks customers to bring the full machine, including the wand, hose, and cleaner head, so technicians can run a complete test; it also recommends an official service center or authorized service partner. Does a deep clean include a replacement filter?
In Dyson Japan’s stated cordless-vacuum deep-clean package, yes: the filter and clear bin are replaced. Dyson US’s repair information does not make that promise for US repairs generally. Ask the local service team to confirm parts included in the specific quote.
