The Vitamix A2300i is a full-size Ascent blender built around hands-on control: it has a variable-speed dial, pulse and a digital timer, but no preset programs. Its main ownership trade-off is the Ascent Interlock accessory system: it supports specific Interlock containers, not every container branded Vitamix. This is a documentation-based buyer review, not a hands-on performance test.
What the A2300i includes
Vitamix UK’s A2300i listing specifies a 1200–1400 W motor base for 220–240 V, a 2.0 L low-profile container, an S2 low-profile tamper and a Simply Blending cookbook. The controls include a manual speed dial, pulse, SELF-DETECT and a built-in digital timer. The manufacturer’s 2022 guide describes the dial as 10-speed, while the EMEA manual confirms that the A2300i does not include programs. That control layout suits buyers who want to adjust blending manually rather than select a preset. The official model comparison describes Ascent features and use categories that include smoothies, sauces, nut butters, hot soups and doughs; these are manufacturer-listed possibilities, not independent performance results for this model. Vitamix UK says the speed control lets users refine texture “from the chunkiest salsas to the smoothest purées”—manufacturer copy, not a measured test result.

In October 2026, Vitamix UK’s pricing page listed the A2300i at £529.00 including VAT. This is a UK-specific official listing, not a stable international price; check the product page for current price and stock before buying.

Will it fit your counter or cabinet?
Vitamix UK lists the blender at 43.18 cm high, 27.94 cm long and 20.32 cm wide. The EMEA manual specifies a height of 43.2 cm with the 2 L container on the base. Measure available clearance with the container fitted, and allow enough space above it to remove the lid and use the tamper. Published dimensions do not establish how much working room your setup needs.
Which container fits my Vitamix?
The A2300i uses the Ascent Interlock system. Vitamix Europe’s compatibility information lists these Interlock containers: 2.0 L and 1.4 L standard containers, a 1.4 L Dry Grains container and a 1.4 L Aer Disc container. Check the exact system and model before purchasing an extra container.

- Classic containers do not mechanically fit the Interlock system.
- Interlock containers do not fit other Vitamix systems.
So, an existing Vitamix container is not necessarily compatible just because the brand matches. Confirm compatibility using Vitamix Europe’s container and system help information.

Warranty and regional version
Vitamix Europe lists a 10-year household-use warranty for the A2300i; separately purchased containers and accessories have a 3-year warranty. Those terms are subject to territory, exclusions, voltage, proof-of-purchase and service conditions. Review the Vitamix Europe warranty terms for the country where you will use the blender. The UK-listed 220–240 V specification also means buyers should verify the electrical version before importing or buying from another region.

Who should consider the A2300i?
- Consider it if you want a full-size blender with manual speed adjustment, pulse and a timer, and are comfortable choosing settings yourself.
- Look at alternatives if you specifically want preset programs; the A2300i does not have them. Compare model-specific control features rather than assuming all Ascent models share the same program set.
- Check another system if you need to keep using a Classic container you already own, since Classic and Interlock containers are not mechanically interchangeable.
- Check dimensions and batch needs against your storage space and typical quantities before choosing the included 2.0 L container.

The A2300i is a plausible fit for buyers who value manual control, pulse and a timer more than presets, and who are willing to stay within the Ascent Interlock accessory family. Its published specifications and included accessories are clear; whether its actual blending results, noise or ease suit you cannot be established from manufacturer documentation alone.
