The new Girls und Panzer game is Girls und Panzer All-Star Tank Carnival, an anime-based tank-action title announced by D3 Publisher on October 9, 2026. It is planned for release on Nintendo Switch 2 during 2027. No other platform, exact launch date, price, language list or physical-edition plan has been confirmed.
A different game, Girls & Panzer Senshado Daisakusen!, already exists as a free-to-play strategy simulation listed for iOS and Android by the official franchise site. Its developer, TENDA Games, also lists PC. The two games are separate projects with different formats and platform situations.
The new game is All-Star Tank Carnival
Girls und Panzer All-Star Tank Carnival (ガールズ＆パンツァー オールスター・タンク・カーニバル) is the newly announced title. D3 Publisher’s October 9, 2026 announcement describes it as an anime-based tank-action game set in the world of Girls und Panzer.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
What players are expected to do
The announced concept combines several activities rather than presenting only arena battles. Players can explore the anime’s Oarai setting, speak with characters, follow an original story and participate in tank matches. Miho Nishizumi is identified as the protagonist for this experience.
D3 Publisher says the main staff previously worked on Girls & Panzer: Dream Tank Match. That is a staff-credit connection, not a promise that the new game uses the same systems, missions or content. Until a detailed feature list appears, treat the announcement as a high-level description of an action game with exploration, narrative scenes and tank combat.
Which platforms are confirmed?
Nintendo Switch 2: confirmed for the new game
Nintendo Switch 2 is the only platform named in D3 Publisher’s announcement for All-Star Tank Carnival. The announcement does not confirm the original Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, iOS or Android versions.
That distinction matters because a platform announcement is not the same as a statement that the game will be available on every device in the franchise. Until D3 Publisher lists another version, readers should regard Switch 2 as the complete confirmed platform information.

What has not been announced
Several practical details remain open:
- No specific release date beyond the planned 2027 year.
- No launch price or subscription requirement.
- No confirmation of English or other language support.
- No confirmation of a physical retail cartridge or a digital-only release.
- No announcement for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, the original Switch or mobile devices.
- No stated local multiplayer capacity.
These are unannounced details, not evidence that the features will or will not exist. A later regional listing or publisher update could change the picture.
How multiplayer is described
The published specifications list the game as one player and also advertise online real-time tank battles for up to 10 players. Read together, those specifications indicate a solo product with an online mode that can accommodate matches of up to ten participants. The announcement does not explain whether ten means ten human players in one battle, a lobby limit, or a mode-specific maximum, so the exact match structure is still unknown.
There is no stated number for local wireless, split-screen or same-console play. Do not assume that an online player cap guarantees local multiplayer. Nintendo Switch 2 network requirements, Nintendo account requirements and any paid online-service requirement have also not been detailed in the announcement.
What the existing Senshado Daisakusen! game is
Girls & Panzer Senshado Daisakusen! is an existing strategy simulation, not an alternate name for All-Star Tank Carnival. The official Girls und Panzer Finale site describes it as a free-to-play smartphone game with optional paid items and lists iOS and Android support.

TENDA Games’ portfolio also labels Senshado Daisakusen! for PC, Android and iOS. The portfolio describes a format in which players select characters, assemble teams and issue tank orders during Senshado matches. The available descriptions do not identify the PC distribution method, system requirements or the regions in which the PC version can be accessed.
How its format differs from the new title
The mobile strategy game centers on team building and issuing orders. All-Star Tank Carnival is announced as a tank-action game with explorable Oarai locations, character conversations, an original story and real-time online battles. One is already available in the franchise’s game lineup; the other is a forthcoming Switch 2 release.

The platform difference is the easiest way to avoid confusion: the new action game is tied to Switch 2, while the established strategy title is associated with mobile platforms and, in the developer’s listing, PC.
What “new Girls und Panzer game” means for each type of player
If you own a Nintendo Switch 2
You are on the only confirmed hardware path for All-Star Tank Carnival. You will still need to wait for a firm date, price and regional store listing before you can determine when or how to buy it. A Switch 2 announcement does not establish backward compatibility with the original Switch, so do not treat an original-Switch release as confirmed.

If you play on iOS or Android
The currently documented franchise option is Senshado Daisakusen!, the free-to-play strategy simulation. Its optional paid items mean that “free to play” describes access, not the absence of in-game purchases. The announcement for All-Star Tank Carnival does not list a mobile edition.
If you play on PC
TENDA Games lists Senshado Daisakusen! for PC, but the cited portfolio entry does not explain whether that means a downloadable client, browser version, storefront release or access limited to particular regions. No PC version of All-Star Tank Carnival has been announced.
If you want real-time action
The new title is the one explicitly described with real-time tank battles and online play for up to ten players. The existing game’s published description is strategic: you select units, form teams and issue orders. It should not be used as evidence that the mobile or PC listing offers the same action controls.

What to check before planning a purchase
Because the announcement is early, use this checklist when a store page or new post appears:
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
- Verify the title. Look for the full name Girls und Panzer All-Star Tank Carnival, not Senshado Daisakusen!.
- Verify the platform label. The confirmed announcement platform is Nintendo Switch 2. A listing for another system needs a separate publisher or regional-store confirmation.
- Check the date type. “2027” is a planned year. A day and month should be treated as provisional until D3 Publisher or an official store page confirms them.
- Check region and language information. The initial announcement does not state supported languages or territories, so an imported or overseas listing may not match your local edition.
- Check the edition. The publisher has not said whether there will be a physical cartridge, digital version, deluxe package or bonus content.
- Check online requirements. The game is described as supporting online battles for up to ten players, but network-service requirements and any subscription details have not been published.
What can be inferred about the game’s scope—and what cannot
The combination of Oarai exploration, conversations, an original story and tank matches suggests a game that connects character-driven scenes with combat rather than offering only isolated battles. Miho Nishizumi’s role and the Oarai setting anchor it in the anime’s fiction. Those are announced design elements, not a complete account of campaign length, playable schools, tank roster, progression or customization.
Likewise, the staff connection to Dream Tank Match may interest returning fans, but it does not establish shared code, identical physics or a direct sequel relationship. The publisher has not supplied technical specifications such as resolution, frame rate, download size, motion-control support or accessibility options.
How to follow reliable updates
D3 Publisher says further details will come through the game’s official website and social channels. For a date, price, platform expansion or edition announcement, give priority to those channels and to an official Nintendo store listing for your region. Franchise pages and developer portfolios are useful for separating the existing strategy game from the new action title, but they should not be treated as confirmation of features that D3 Publisher has not announced.
Be cautious with retailer placeholders and fan database entries. A page that repeats “2027” without a day, price or regional language data is not stronger evidence than the original announcement. The same applies to speculative PC, mobile or PlayStation listings: they remain unconfirmed until an official source names that version.
Bottom line for the platform question
Girls und Panzer All-Star Tank Carnival is the new game, planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. It is described as an action-focused experience with Oarai exploration, an original story, character interactions and online tank battles for up to ten players. No other platform or exact launch date is confirmed.
Girls & Panzer Senshado Daisakusen! is a separate, already existing strategy simulation listed for iOS and Android by the official franchise site, with PC also listed by its developer. If you are searching for the “new Girls und Panzer Switch 2 game,” look for All-Star Tank Carnival; if you want the currently documented mobile strategy game, look for Senshado Daisakusen!.
