Samsung’s note says only that the device is protected with improved security; it does not list individual fixes or feature changes. This is not the latest build in the model’s listed history: Samsung also records a later September build.

Does MWD confirm that this build is for your phone?
No. The official update-history entry confirms the SM-A566B model and build, but it does not explain the “MWD” code in the title or confirm that this firmware is offered for a phone with a particular CSC (the regional or carrier software configuration). Do not use “MWD” alone to infer a country, eligibility, or flash compatibility.
Samsung cautions that update details and timing can vary by model, country, and service provider. Its Mobile Security update guidance also says delivery timing may vary by region and model and that some chipset-vendor patches can be included in later packages. This is a rollout caveat, not a promise that every device receives an update on a fixed monthly schedule.

How to check whether the update is available
- On the Galaxy A56, open Settings > Software update > Download and install.
- If an update is offered, review the displayed software details and follow the on-screen instructions. The build name and availability shown on your device are more relevant to your device than a title code whose CSC mapping has not been confirmed.
- To compare your software with Samsung’s record, check the device model and service-provider software information on the phone, then compare the applicable model and region entry with Samsung’s SM-A566B history. A matching model number alone does not prove that a particular regional package is eligible.
Samsung advises users to keep devices up to date and check for software updates regularly. If this build is not offered, the official history by itself cannot establish why or when it will arrive for your specific device.

What to compare when checking another A56 build
- Exact model and CSC: confirm the device variant and regional or carrier configuration rather than relying only on “Galaxy A56.”
- Build identifier: compare the complete software build string, including its ending characters.
- Android version and dates: distinguish the release date from the security patch level date; they are separate fields in Samsung’s record.
- Stated changes: rely on Samsung’s release note for what it actually claims. For A566BXXSDCZHB, the note is a generic improved-security statement.
- Device availability: check Software update on the phone, because listing a package in history does not establish that it has rolled out to every eligible device.
