The Westinghouse WSF6608KXA is a 60 cm freestanding dishwasher with room for 15 place settings, eight listed programs and a published 45 dBA noise rating. Its specification sheet looks versatile, but its real-world cleaning performance is not established by the accessible independent test information, and owner feedback is mixed. CHOICE marks the model discontinued, so check current stock and price before treating it as a practical option.
What the WSF6608KXA offers
Westinghouse lists this model in dark stainless steel as a freestanding dishwasher measuring 850 mm high, 598 mm wide and 598 mm deep. Those dimensions are useful for checking a kitchen opening, but leave room for installation clearances and confirm the fit with the retailer or installer. The manufacturer rates capacity at 15 place settings.
The upper basket is height-adjustable when loaded. Other listed features include a cutlery tray, child lock, three-stage filter and overfill and anti-flood protections. The adjustable basket can make it easier to accommodate different loads, although owner comments raise questions about how the racks and cutlery tray work for some households.
Programs and options
Westinghouse lists eight programs. Named programs and functions include:

- Time Save, a 50-minute option
- AutoFlex, with a temperature range adjusted to the load
- Half load, extra hygiene, extra dry and extra silent options
- Delay start, delay end and a tablet function
For AutoFlex, Westinghouse says its sensor detects grime and adjusts wash temperature and cycle length. That is a manufacturer description, not an independently verified result. A broad feature list also does not establish how well a cycle cleans or dries; results depend on loading, soil, detergent and cycle selection.

| Measure | Published figure | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Noise | 45 dBA | Westinghouse’s stated noise rating; it is not a comparative listening test. |
| Water use | 13.5 L per cycle | A listed consumption figure; the accessible specification does not establish a separate measured result for a particular household load. |
| Annual energy | 294 kWh/year | Westinghouse’s annual consumption figure; actual use varies with cycle choice and frequency. |
| Water-efficiency rating | 4.5 stars | Manufacturer-listed rating. |
| Energy-efficiency rating | 3.5 stars | Manufacturer-listed rating. |
CHOICE’s listing repeats the model’s claimed water and annual energy figures, but its model-specific test scores and details are member-only on the page reviewed. No accessible controlled score establishes this model’s cleaning or drying performance, so compare measured results from any alternatives using equivalent test information rather than treating the specification figures as proof of performance.

This is a small, self-selected set of anecdotes, not a representative reliability study. The rating cannot establish the appliance’s failure rate or prove that it is generally unreliable. Treat the layout comments as a prompt to inspect the racks in person: bring the dimensions of your largest plates and glasses to a retailer, and consider whether the cutlery tray suits how you load utensils.
Availability, warranty and buying checks
CHOICE marks the WSF6608KXA discontinued. That does not establish whether every retailer has sold through its stock, but current availability is uncertain and should be verified before you plan a purchase. CHOICE displays a $1349 price, but the effective date is not established, so it should not be read as a current market price.
