How to choose a PlayStation deal
- Check whether the listing is for PS4, PS5 or a cross-generation license before buying.
- Confirm that a deluxe edition’s extras matter to you; the discounted $39.99 Death Stranding 2 listing is specifically Digital Deluxe.
- Compare the one-time purchase price with any subscription catalog access you already have.
PlayStation Plus monthly games
PlayStation Plus members can claim F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 at no additional purchase price during the monthly offer. These are subscription entitlements rather than permanently owned purchases: add them to your library while the monthly window is open, and access depends on maintaining the required PlayStation Plus membership.
#1 Best Overall
- Redeem for anything on PlayStationStore: games, add-ons, PlayStationPlus and more.
- Everything you want to play. Choose from the largest library of PlayStation content.
- Use gift card funds to contribute towards PlayStationPlus memberships.
Xbox discounts and Game Pass eligibility
Xbox’s Game Pass Deals and Discounts section requires either a Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate subscription. One of its deepest reductions is One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows for $5.99, or 90% off. Other titles in that member-discount section include Scarlet Nexus and SoulCalibur 6.
The all-user Xbox sale list includes Marathon, Dispatch, Madden NFL 27, College Football 27, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, Screamer, Battlefield 6, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Hitman World of Assassination, Street Fighter 6, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Guilty Gear Strive, Tomb Raider 1-6 Remastered and Middle-earth: The Shadow Bundle.
Rank #2

What the Xbox prices mean
- The $5.99 One Punch Man price is tied to the Game Pass Deals and Discounts offer, so it is not an unrestricted all-user price.
- Check the Xbox store listing for the exact edition and console compatibility, particularly for games offered across Xbox generations.
- Game Pass access and a discounted purchase are different: a subscription can lower the purchase price, but it does not necessarily grant ownership of the game.
Nintendo Switch deals
The Nintendo roundup includes Capcom’s Autumn Sale plus additional eShop discounts. Switch 1 games can be played on Switch 2, while listings marked “Switch 2” identify newer-generation editions.

How to compare this weekend’s offers
- Identify the storefront: PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo eShop prices are separate listings and are not interchangeable.
- Check eligibility: Player’s Choice and the listed Switch deals are purchases; PlayStation Plus games are monthly claims; Xbox’s special discount tier requires Game Pass Core or Ultimate.
- Verify the edition: Digital Deluxe, Switch 2 and cross-generation versions can have different prices and included content.
- Check timing: Sale prices are temporary. Open the store page before checkout to confirm the current price, discount and end date.
- Separate discount from access: A sale purchase remains an account purchase subject to the platform’s license terms, while a monthly or subscription entitlement depends on continued eligibility.
What shoppers should know before checkout
- All figures above are advertised digital prices, not physical-retail prices.
- Taxes, currency conversion and regional pricing can change the amount shown at checkout.
- Online multiplayer, cloud saves or other platform features may require a separate subscription even when the game itself is discounted.
- For cross-platform games, confirm that the edition supports the console you intend to use; a similarly named listing can be a different generation or bundle.
