WARDOGS Season 02 is scheduled for 15 October 2026, but BULKHEAD has not yet published a full itemized patch list in the official material available as of 9 October 2026. The studio has confirmed new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks and additional features; it has not confirmed specific new weapons or vehicles.
When does WARDOGS Season 2 come out?
BULKHEAD announced 15 October 2026 as the Season 02 date in its official Steam announcement on 22 September 2026, which says: “WARDOGS Season 02 is coming.” The teaser gives no launch hour or regional maintenance schedule, so the exact time players can access the update is not established.

What is confirmed for Season 02?
The teaser describes four broad areas: new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks and additional features. It does not name any weapons or vehicles, give statistics, or specify which changes belong to each category. Until BULKHEAD publishes itemized notes, weapon and vehicle names circulating in community posts should be treated as unconfirmed.
Are new weapons or vehicles confirmed?
No specific Season 02 weapon or vehicle is identified in the official teaser covered here. That means there is not yet a reliable Season 2 equipment list or a basis for comparing new weapons by class, damage or recoil, or new vehicles by role and counterplay. The broad mention of “equipment” is not confirmation of any particular item.

What do the latest pre-season patch notes say?
BULKHEAD’s 2 October 2026 “IR Goggles & CIWS Balance Hotfix” announced changes that should be kept separate from the Season 02 patch list:
- IR Rangefinders: The hotfix said they would be disabled in vendors as regional servers restarted, within 12 hours of the announcement, and remain unavailable until Season 02. BULKHEAD said they would require batteries when they return.
- CIWS versus the Havoc: The hotfix changed the expected destruction time to around six seconds, down from 12 seconds.
- Deployment: The hotfix required no new client download or server downtime.

Which vehicle changes were already recorded before Season 02?
WARDOGS Labs’ patch history records a 10 September 2026 balance pass for the Z20 Lakota and a maximum operator rotation speed for vehicle turrets. These are dated existing changes, not confirmed Season 02 additions. The WARDOGS Labs patch history is the source for those entries.

What remains unknown until the full notes appear?
The available official announcement establishes the date and broad update categories, but not the item-by-item contents. A full release note would be needed to confirm:
