No official announcement confirms that WARDOGS will reward players with cash and XP for choosing Blue in Season 2. The idea comes from a player’s Steam discussion proposing a bonus for joining the disadvantaged team. Bulkhead’s published Season 02 overview describes broader planned changes but does not list this incentive.
Where did the cash-and-XP claim come from?
A player on the WARDOGS Steam discussion board suggested giving players a cash and experience boost when they choose the side with fewer players. The poster proposed a 2% bonus when one team was two players down. That number is a community suggestion—not an announced reward, an existing game statistic, or a confirmed Season 2 value.
The distinction matters: a player idea being discussed does not mean Bulkhead has adopted it. The claim that WARDOGS “will bribe” Blue players is therefore unconfirmed.
Why are players asking for a Blue-team incentive?
Blue is the Lonestar faction
WARDOGS has three factions, and Blue is Lonestar. A community guide says factions share the same vendor and guns and that choosing a colour does not provide a hidden stat bonus. The guide is community-authored, not an official balance statement, and cautions that some figures come from closed playtests and may change.
Some players reportedly avoid Lonestar
PC Gamer described players refusing to choose Blue and reported selection delays, including a match that waited for enough players to pick Lonestar. That reporting combines observations, player anecdotes, and community posts; it does not establish how often this happens across all servers or measure a game-wide preference.
The proposed bonus is one player’s possible response to that perceived imbalance. It should not be confused with a reward for in-match performance: the suggestion is to encourage players to choose the disadvantaged faction at selection.
What has Bulkhead confirmed about Season 02?
In its official WARDOGS Steam community update, Bulkhead says Season 02 is planned as a larger content update with new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks, and additional features. The update does not name a cash-and-XP bonus for choosing Lonestar.

It is possible that Bulkhead could address faction selection in a later announcement, but the available official material does not establish whether the player’s proposal will be adopted. Until an official update or patch note specifies such a reward, treat the cash-and-XP claim as a community suggestion rather than a Season 2 feature.
For context, WARDOGS’ Steam store listing describes a three-team game and says teamplay actions earn cash. That general gameplay description does not confirm a separate bonus for selecting Blue.
