Prefer not to run the server on your own PC? Godlike.Host offers hosted 7 Days to Die servers with free DDoS protection and up to three free backups a day.
War3zuk AIO is a full overhaul for 7 Days to Die, not a small collection of cosmetic tweaks. To run it reliably on a server, match the mod package to the server’s exact game branch, deploy the complete mod and prefab files, install the identical build on every client, and back up the world before every change. A mismatch can stop players from joining, produce missing prefabs, or force a rollback.
What War3zuk AIO changes
War3zuk AIO is a downloadable overhaul that can be used in single-player or uploaded to a multiplayer server by owners of a legal copy of 7 Days to Die. Its release documentation describes changes across most systems rather than one isolated feature.

- Custom weapons, ammunition and loot
- New zombie and animal entities
- Quests, traders and progression
- Vehicles, farming and prefabs
- User-interface modules and dedicated-server files
The project’s release thread also contains branch-specific launcher edits and fixes. An owner-attributed statement in that thread says: “All Models Have Been Paid For Are Tagged War3zuk & Are Protected Under Unity License.” Treat the thread’s instructions as version-specific; a launcher change written for one game branch is not automatically valid for another.
Choose the game and mod versions as a pair
Do not install whichever file has the newest-looking label. War3zuk has separate release lines, and the game branch on the server must match the corresponding AIO package.

| 7 Days to Die branch | Matching War3zuk package documented | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| 1.3 | War3zuk AIO v1.3 B33 | A BisectHosting installation guide updated March 30, 2026, specifies this pairing and lists 8 GB RAM as a requirement for that installation. |
| 3.3 B18 Stable | War3zuk AIO v3.3 | A hosting guide identifying its verified build on October 11, 2026, lists this as the current pairing in that guide. |
| 2.6 B14 | War3zuk AIO v2.8 | The same October 11, 2026 guide retains this as a separate older release line. |
Those labels are not interchangeable. Confirm the branch shown in the server’s startup panel or executable, then download the War3zuk archive that names that branch. Record the game version, War3zuk file label and installation method in an administrator note so a future update does not accidentally move the server to a different line.
Prepare the server before installing
Check the basic requirements
- Use a legal, working copy of the same game branch on the server and each client.
- For the documented 7DTD 1.3 installation, allow at least 8 GB of RAM, as specified by the March 30, 2026 BisectHosting guide. Other branches may have different practical requirements.
- Make sure you can stop and restart the server, access its console or logs, and upload files by FTP or the host’s file manager.
- Keep enough storage for the complete
Mods/directory,Data/Prefabs/, optional generated-world data and a backup copy.
Back up the world and the old files
Stop the server cleanly, copy the save folder to a location outside the live server, and archive the current mod files. Keep the archive named with the date, game branch and War3zuk build. A rollback is only useful if the previous mod files and the matching save are available together.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Use a staging world for first boot
Before changing a public world, duplicate the save or create a test world on a staging server. Test startup, joining, a short trip through a town, a trader interaction, vehicle use and a save/restart cycle. This catches missing prefabs and dependency errors without risking the community’s main world.

Install War3zuk through a hosted control panel
A control panel is the shortest route when the host provides a named War3zuk package. The documented BisectHosting workflow uses the following sequence.
- Stop the server. Do not replace files while the game process is writing the world.
- Open the host’s Mods tab. Look for the War3zuk package and verify that its label matches the server’s 7DTD branch. The documented example is War3zuk AIO Overhaul v1.3 B33 for a 1.3 server.
- Install the package. Wait for the panel to report completion; do not start the server while the transfer is still running.
- Check optional dependencies. If the selected War3zuk material calls for a dependency such as the matching
0-SCorepackage for the RAD animal option, install that exact dependency as well. - Start the server and watch the console. Let the initial load finish, then look for red errors, failed XML or DLL loads, missing prefabs and unexpected-data messages.
- Join with a test client. The client must have the same War3zuk build and any required dependency before a normal player connects.
A control panel reduces file-management work, but it does not remove version responsibility. A package name can remain visible after the game branch has changed, so verify the branch every time.
Install manually with the supplied files or FTP
Manual deployment gives direct control and is useful when the host does not offer a one-click package. It also makes incomplete uploads more likely, so preserve the archive and check every required directory.

- Unlimited hours of gameplay
- Explore - Huge, unique and rich environments, offering the freedom to play the game however you want
- Craft - craft and repair weapons, clothes, armour, tools, vehicles, and more
- Build - Take over a ruin, or build from the ground-up. Design your fortress to include traps and defensive positions to survive the undead
- Cooperate or Compete - Includes two player split screen mode, with support for up to 4 players online, in Player versus Player, co-op survival, or co-op creative modes
- Install locally first. Run War3zuk’s automated installer, or extract the supplied files, against the exact game branch used by the server. Do not combine files from two AIO releases.
- Stop the server. Keep it offline until all files have been uploaded.
- Upload the complete
Mods/directory. Upload every modlet and subfolder, preserving names, capitalization and directory structure. A partial upload can produce missing textures, pink assets or data errors. - Upload prefabs. Copy
Data/Prefabs/to the corresponding server path. Uploading onlyMods/is insufficient when the overhaul references custom prefabs. - Upload generated-world data when supplied. If the map archive contains
GeneratedWorlds/, transfer that directory to the expected game-data location as well. - Install required optional components. Use the exact dependency version named by the War3zuk package. For the documented RAD animal material, that can include the matching
0-SCore. - Start and inspect the console. Wait through the complete asset and prefab load. Stop again if errors identify a missing file rather than allowing players to create saves against an incomplete installation.
- Install the identical build on clients. Every player should use the same archive or installer result, not a differently dated download with a similar name.
The hosting documentation specifically warns that partial uploads cause missing prefabs or “unexpected data” failures. If the host has a file-count or transfer limit, compare the remote directory with the local archive after uploading.
Set up every player’s client
Multiplayer synchronization depends on the server and client having the same mod content. Give players the exact War3zuk file label and any dependency names rather than telling them to search for “the latest” release.
- Close the game and launcher before installing or replacing files.
- Install the same War3zuk branch and build used by the server.
- Install optional dependencies at the versions required by that build.
- Remove obsolete copies that could leave duplicate modlets in the local
Mods/directory. - Restart the launcher or game after installation, then connect only after the server has completed its own restart.
Players should not join while the administrator is still replacing files. If one person updates early and creates or loads a world, that client can retain cached assets that mask a mismatch until a later session.

Verify the first startup
Console checks
- Confirm that War3zuk modlets are listed as loaded rather than skipped.
- Check for XML parse errors, missing assemblies, duplicate IDs and failed prefab registrations.
- Look for warnings about an absent dependency such as
0-SCore. - Confirm that the server reaches its normal listening or ready state before connecting.
In-game checks
- Join with a client carrying the identical build.
- Open the inventory and verify that custom weapons, ammunition and other expected entries appear.
- Visit a trader and test a quest or progression interaction.
- Load a test area containing a custom prefab and watch for missing blocks or pink textures.
- Use a vehicle or farming item if those systems are part of the intended configuration.
- Log out, restart the server and reconnect to verify that the save persists.
Do not treat a server that merely reaches the title or join screen as fully tested. Prefabs and generated-world assets can fail later, when a player approaches the affected location.

Can you update War3zuk without wiping a save?
Sometimes an update can be applied to an existing world, but it is not safe to assume that every release is save-compatible. The Fun Pimps community release history records an update that required a fresh game and deletion of the old Mods folder; it also says an old save could be used only at the player’s own risk.
Use this procedure for every update:
- Read the instructions for the exact new War3zuk build and game branch.
- Back up the live save, player data and server configuration.
- Keep the previous mod archive and record its file label.
- Clone the world to a staging server or copied save.
- Apply the update to the staging copy, including any required dependency, prefab and generated-world files.
- Start the copy and test loading, travel, quests, traders, vehicles, storage and a save/restart cycle.
- If the release instructions call for a fresh game or deletion of the old
Modsfolder, follow that instruction on the staging installation; do not leave mixed files behind. - Only after the copy works should you schedule the public-server update and require every player to update.
If the copied world fails, restore the previous archive and save rather than experimenting on the only live copy. A fresh world may be the supported path for a particular release, but the release notes—not a generic assumption—determine that answer.

Troubleshoot common server failures
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| “Unexpected data received” when a player joins | Client and server use different War3zuk builds, game branches or dependency versions. | Reinstall the exact same build on the client and server, remove obsolete duplicates, then restart both sides. |
| Pink textures or missing HD assets | Incomplete Mods/ upload or stale client cache. |
Re-upload the complete Mods/ directory, verify subfolders, clear the client cache and restart. |
| Server stops or reports missing prefabs during boot | Data/Prefabs/ was not uploaded, or only the mod directory was transferred. |
Upload Data/Prefabs/ to the matching path, then restart and check the console again. |
| Custom animals or a RAD option fail to load | The required matching 0-SCore dependency is absent or from another branch. |
Install the dependency version named by the War3zuk package on both server and clients. |
| Players can join but features are absent | Some modlets were skipped, files were overwritten by another overhaul, or the package is for a different branch. | Compare the local archive with the remote Mods/ tree, remove conflicting leftovers, and reinstall the branch-matched package. |
| World loads but a town or structure is broken | Custom prefab or generated-world files are missing, or the save was opened after an incompatible update. | Restore the matching backup, upload the complete prefab/world data and test on a copied save before reopening the public world. |
Hosted panel or manual FTP?
| Decision factor | Hosted control panel | Manual or FTP deployment |
|---|---|---|
| Control | Simple installation with fewer file operations. | Direct control over every archive, folder and rollback copy. |
| Version visibility | A named package is convenient, but the administrator must still verify the game branch. | The administrator must track branches, archives and dependencies explicitly. |
| Recovery | Useful when the host supplies backups, console access and file restoration. | Recovery depends on the administrator’s own backups, logs and FTP access. |
| Prefab handling | May be automated, but confirm that prefabs were installed. | Requires deliberate upload of Data/Prefabs/ and any GeneratedWorlds/ directory. |
| Best fit | Administrators who want fewer deployment steps and managed server operations. | Administrators who need custom layouts, precise archives or independent rollback control. |
Whichever route you choose, the critical controls are identical: branch verification, complete files, console access, backups and synchronized clients.
Running War3zuk with another overhaul
War3zuk changes progression, loot, entities, prefabs, UI and other core systems. A second overhaul can edit the same XML, asset bundles, IDs or world data. Unless the two projects explicitly document compatibility for the exact game and release builds, assume they can conflict.
Do not test a combination on the only copy of a community world. Use a fresh staging server, install one overhaul at a time, inspect console output and test the systems both packages modify. If duplicate IDs, overwritten progression, missing assets or boot errors appear, remove the second overhaul and restore the clean backup. A modlet described as “optional” is not automatically compatible with a separate overhaul.
Performance and resource expectations
No validated player-count, frame-rate or server-performance benchmark is established in the available release documentation. Do not advertise a guaranteed capacity based on the overhaul name alone. The 8 GB figure documented for the 7DTD 1.3 installation is a stated requirement, not a universal recommendation for every branch, world size or player count.
Measure the exact build in your own environment. Watch memory use during startup and during a group event, monitor server tick or latency warnings, and check disk space as the world grows. If the server becomes unstable, reduce simultaneous load or world complexity only after confirming that the issue is not a missing file or version mismatch.
Quick Recap
Update and rollback checklist
- Write down the current game branch and War3zuk build.
- Back up the save, player data, configuration and current mod archive.
- Download the target package and read its branch-specific instructions.
- Test on a copied world or staging server.
- Upload the complete
Mods/,Data/Prefabs/and supplied generated-world files. - Install the same build and dependencies on every client.
- Inspect the console before allowing public connections.
- Tell players exactly when the server will reopen and require the update before they join.
- If the update fails, stop the server, restore the previous mod archive and matching save, and restart before investigating further.
Final pre-launch checklist
- The server’s game branch and War3zuk package label match.
- The documented RAM requirement for the chosen branch is met; for the cited 1.3 setup, that means at least 8 GB.
- The full
Mods/directory is present. Data/Prefabs/and any suppliedGeneratedWorlds/directory are present.- Every required dependency is installed at the matching version.
- Every player has the identical client files.
- The console is free of unresolved load errors.
- A tested backup and rollback archive are stored outside the live server.
- The staging or copied-world test passed before the public save was opened.
