The claimed Walmart deal—a $750 saving that makes an RTX 5060 gaming laptop 40% cheaper—could not be verified from the available product listings. Walmart search results show RTX 5060 laptops, but they do not establish that either one is the laptop behind the headline or confirm its price, discount, seller, stock, or offer dates.
What Walmart’s listings do confirm
Walmart search results include two distinct RTX 5060 laptop configurations. Neither is identified as the product in the claimed $750-off promotion.
| Walmart-listed example | Specifications shown | Connection to the claimed deal |
|---|---|---|
| Lenovo Legion 5i, 15.1-inch | WQXGA 165Hz display, Intel Core i7-14700HX, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD | Not established; the listing does not substantiate the claimed saving or 40% reduction. |
| Gigabyte Gaming A16 | Intel Core i7-13620H, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 165Hz IPS display | Not established; the listing does not substantiate the claimed saving or 40% reduction. |
These are category examples, not confirmation of the headline’s exact laptop. The Walmart results provide product and configuration information, not a dated record of the specific promotion. See Walmart’s RTX 5060 laptop search results.

A $750 reduction equal to 40% implies a reference price of $1,875 and a sale price of $1,125: $750 divided by 0.40 is $1,875. That arithmetic explains the relationship between the two headline figures; it does not verify that Walmart listed this laptop at either price.

To establish the actual offer, a dated product page or original deal article would need to identify the exact model and configuration, show the current and reference prices, and make clear who is selling it and when the offer applies. None of those details for this particular promotion is established by the available Walmart listings.
What a buyer should check before relying on a deal headline
- Exact model and configuration: Match the laptop’s model number as well as its GPU. An RTX 5060 label alone does not establish that two listings are the same product.
- Price comparison: Check the displayed sale price against the reference price for the same configuration; confirm that the advertised dollar saving and percentage agree with those figures.
- Seller and availability: Verify who is selling the item and whether it is in stock. Retail listings and prices can change.
- Offer timing: Look for a dated promotion and its end date, if one is stated. The available listing evidence does not establish the headline offer’s duration.
- Comparable specifications: When comparing alternatives, match the GPU, CPU, memory, storage, display, seller, and dated price. The available information does not support performance claims about the unidentified laptop in the headline.
How to interpret the separate historical deal reference
Tom’s Hardware’s June 2026 deals archive includes a Gigabyte Gaming A16 laptop promotion and a separate $750-off desktop headline. They are distinct deals; the archive does not establish that the desktop discount belongs to the laptop or verify the headline’s claimed 40% reduction. View the June 2026 deals archive.
