Waifu Curator is an upcoming first-person museum-restoration game in which you turn chaotic rooms of anime-style scale figures into organized exhibitions. You find scattered models, inspect their details, identify where they belong with a museum guide, and return them to themed displays.
Developer and publisher Don Pachi plans to release the game on Steam on 9 November 2026. The Steam listing currently marks it as not yet available, so there is no playable release, user-review record, or confirmed price at the time of writing.
What you do in Waifu Curator
The central objective is to restore a disordered waifu museum. Instead of fighting enemies or managing a conventional retail business, you work through a quiet collection-and-organization loop:
- Find figures: Search the museum’s messy rooms for collectible models.
- Pick up and inspect them: Examine each figure’s details before deciding where it belongs.
- Consult the museum guide: Use the in-game guide to identify the correct display location.
- Sort the collection: Organize models by theme, scale, and collection.

The museum is divided into themed halls
Waifu Curator is not presented as one undifferentiated storage room. The listing names distinct exhibition themes, including Sports, Gothic, and Idol. That gives the sorting task a visual and categorical structure: a model’s theme is part of the decision, alongside its scale and collection.
Different scales and materials
The collection is broader than standard tabletop statues. The listing advertises life-size 1:1 models as well as smaller scale figures made from materials including plastic, metal, silver, gold, glass, and other materials. Those labels point to a low-pressure organizing experience. The challenge comes from identifying and categorizing objects, locating missing pieces, and completing displays. The game is not advertised as a tycoon or business-management simulation, and the available description does not promise staffing, ticket pricing, finances, or other operational systems. Its focus is the physical act of restoring and arranging the collection.
Release date and current availability
Don Pachi lists 9 November 2026 as the planned Steam release date. SteamDB lists the same game under app ID 5182720 with a Q4 2026 release window. Because both dates are forward-looking, they can change before launch.
The official Steam page currently says the game is not yet available and offers a wishlist option. There are no Steam user reviews while the game remains unreleased. No confirmed launch price is provided in the available listing information.
