Private Internet Access (PIA) is advertising a 26-month VPN subscription for under $50 in its Halloween promotion. The package combines a 24-month plan with two bonus months, making the reported effective price $1.89 per month. TechRadar reported the offer on October 15, 2026, but the promotion’s end date is not published, and PIA’s order page may show a different sale structure at checkout.
What the Halloween offer includes
This is a digital VPN subscription, not a physical product or a standalone VPN router. The reported deal covers 24 paid months plus two additional months, for 26 months of service in total. At the advertised effective rate of $1.89 per month, the 26-month cost works out to $49.14, which is why the headline price is described as under $50.
| Offer detail | Reported value |
|---|---|
| Paid subscription term | 24 months |
| Bonus service | 2 extra months |
| Total access | 26 months |
| Effective monthly rate | $1.89 per month |
| Headline upfront price | Under $50 |
| Regular comparison rate cited by TechRadar | $2.19 per month |
The $1.89 figure is an effective rate calculated across the full 26 months, rather than a separate month-to-month plan. The regular $2.19 comparison rate and the Halloween price come from TechRadar’s October 15 report.

PIA’s official order page displayed a different fall-sale structure at the time of review: three years plus three bonus months at $1.79 per month. That live page does not establish that the reported 26-month Halloween package has ended, but it does show that the offer presented to a buyer can change by promotion and date.

Before paying, check the term, bonus months and total charge on the final order screen. PIA states that all amounts are shown in U.S. dollars and that discounts are calculated against current monthly service pricing of $11.95 per month. The exact Halloween expiration date is not stated in the available sources, so do not assume the under-$50 price will remain available after October 16, 2026.

Automatic renewal
The subscription is set to auto-renew. The promotional price applies to the initial term; the sources do not state the exact renewal amount for this Halloween package. Review the renewal line and billing interval before submitting payment, and cancel renewal if you do not want a later charge.

Money-back guarantee
PIA’s order page says new subscribers receive a 30-day money-back guarantee. This applies to new subscriptions purchased through PIA’s website. If you buy through an app store, that store’s refund rules govern instead, so the website guarantee should not be assumed to apply to an in-app purchase.

Devices and server coverage
PIA support says every PIA VPN subscription permits an unlimited number of devices to be connected simultaneously. That policy is useful for households or users with many phones, computers, tablets and smart devices, but it does not change the subscription’s renewal or refund conditions.

Server counts vary by page and date. PIA’s order page showed 154 server locations at the time of review. TechRadar’s October 15 report described more than 160 locations and 22 new streaming-optimized servers. Treat those figures as time-specific descriptions rather than a permanent network total.
Can existing subscribers use the promotion?
Not necessarily. PIA support warns that upgrade promotions or bonus months may not apply to every existing-customer upgrade. A current subscriber should sign in and inspect the upgrade checkout rather than assuming the new-customer Halloween terms will be attached to an existing account.

How to check and buy the offer
- Open PIA’s official order page and confirm that the displayed currency is USD.
- Check whether the package says 24 months plus two bonus months, or whether the page has switched to another term such as three years plus three months.
- Confirm the upfront total and calculate the effective monthly rate by dividing that total by the total number of included months.
- Read the auto-renewal amount and billing interval shown before payment.
- Verify that the 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your purchase route; app-store purchases follow the store’s own refund policy.
- If you already subscribe, sign in before checkout and confirm whether the bonus months and promotional price are available for your account.
Who gets the most value?
The deal suits a new subscriber who expects to use a VPN for roughly two years and can pay the full term upfront. The unlimited simultaneous-connection policy makes the subscription practical for multiple devices, while the 30-day guarantee provides a limited evaluation window for eligible new website purchases.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →It is less straightforward for an existing subscriber, because upgrade eligibility is account-specific, and for anyone who wants a guaranteed long-term price: automatic renewal means the post-promotion charge must be checked before purchase. Because PIA’s live page has already shown another seasonal package, save the order summary or receipt showing the term and total you actually bought.
