To change a VIZIO TV’s built-in scenic or idle display, first identify the TV model and check its matching manual: VIZIO does not have one confirmed screensaver menu path for every model. On some VIZIO Home sets, owners report finding Scenic Mode under Extras and Home Page Settings; newer software may use the label Vibe Setting. If the pictures come from a connected streaming device, change that device’s settings instead.
First identify which device controls the screensaver
A VIZIO TV’s own idle display and a connected player’s screensaver are separate settings. The setting belongs to the device that is showing the images, so a screensaver menu on a streaming device may not change the TV’s built-in display.

Look for Scenic Mode on a VIZIO Home TV
Some VIZIO owners report this route in the VIZIO Home interface: Extras → Home Page Settings → Scenic Mode. Later community replies mention the name Vibe Setting. These are user-reported labels and paths, not a verified procedure for every VIZIO TV; your interface may differ.

- Open VIZIO Home on the TV.
- Move left to Extras, then open Home Page Settings, if those options are present.
- Look for Scenic Mode or, on some software versions, Vibe Setting.
- Review the options shown on your TV. If available, use the display enable or disable control to stop the scenic display, or adjust its sound setting.
Only use controls that actually appear on your screen. The reported options do not establish that every model offers the same display or sound controls.

If the pictures appear while you are using a separate streaming device, use the instructions for that device’s platform rather than treating its menus as VIZIO TV settings. Google’s Android TV help describes Android TV options, which can vary by device. Google’s Google TV Ambient Mode help covers a separate interface and describes choices such as Google Photos and Art Gallery. These settings apply to the connected device, not the TV’s built-in VIZIO Home menus.

If you cannot find a screensaver setting
- Confirm the TV model and check its matching manual through VIZIO Support.
- Check the TV’s software version and whether you are in VIZIO Home or viewing a connected device.
- Look for alternate terms such as Scenic Mode or Vibe Setting, while keeping in mind that neither name is confirmed as universal.
- If a reported menu path or option is absent, do not assume the TV is broken; the feature or label may differ on your model or software.
