The vivo X500 appears to offer a larger, faster display and a bigger battery than the X300, based on September 2026 secondary reporting. The X300, by contrast, has a published global specification page and a range of official China launch prices. The clearest price comparison is therefore limited to China launch pricing; an official X500 price or India availability was not confirmed in the cited coverage.

What does the China price difference show?

vivo’s official China announcement priced the X300 at CNY 4,399 for 12GB+256GB, CNY 4,699 for 16GB+256GB, CNY 4,999 for 12GB+512GB, CNY 5,299 for 16GB+512GB, and CNY 5,799 for 16GB+1TB. These are China launch prices from 2025, not current worldwide prices. vivo’s X300 China launch announcement

Cashify reported a CNY 5,499 base launch price for the X500 in China in September 2026. On those cited launch figures alone, the X500’s reported base price is CNY 500 above the X300’s 12GB+256GB launch price, CNY 200 above its 16GB+256GB price, and below the listed X300 512GB and 1TB variants. That is not a like-for-like comparison unless the X500’s base RAM and storage configuration, taxes, and sale terms match; its configuration was not specified in the cited report. For a real purchase comparison, use the same country, RAM/storage tier, tax treatment, and sale date. The cited sources do not establish an official X500 India price, so converting the China figure into rupees would not establish an Indian retail price.

Which phone has the larger display?

The X500 is larger on the reported diagonal: 6.59 inches versus the X300’s official 6.31 inches. Cashify also reports a 144Hz refresh rate for the X500, compared with the X300’s adaptive 1–120Hz specification from vivo Global. That suggests a higher listed maximum refresh rate for the X500, but it does not by itself establish which screen looks better: the cited X500 coverage does not give its resolution or panel type.

The larger diagonal may suit video and gaming, while the X300’s smaller listed screen may be easier to manage one-handed. Actual handling also depends on body dimensions, weight, and design; the cited figures do not settle which phone feels smaller in use.

Which has the bigger battery, and what about charging?

Cashify reports a 7,500mAh battery for the X500. vivo lists the X300 at 6,040mAh typical capacity for overseas markets except Europe, and 5,360mAh typical capacity for Austria and Hungary. These are market-specific X300 figures, so the comparison depends on the region; even against the 6,040mAh version, the reported X500 capacity is larger on paper.

Capacity alone cannot predict battery life. No independent side-by-side battery test is established in the cited coverage, and actual endurance depends on screen settings, network conditions, software, and workload. vivo specifies 90W wired and 40W wireless charging for the X300. The cited X500 coverage does not state its charging speeds, so charging cannot be compared on equal evidence.

How do performance, memory, and storage compare?

vivo lists a Dimensity 9500 in the X300, while Cashify reports a Dimensity 9600M for the X500. The model names indicate different chips, but the cited material includes no independent benchmark or sustained-performance test. It is not enough to declare a practical speed winner from the processor names alone.

vivo Global lists the X300 in 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB configurations in the captured specifications and says ROM expansion is unsupported. Its China launch offered five RAM/storage combinations, including 16GB+1TB. Cashify’s cited X500 coverage does not establish its RAM or storage tiers, so check the exact regional listing before comparing capacity or price.

Do the camera megapixels make one the better camera phone?

Cashify reports a 200MP main camera for the X300 and a 50MP main camera for the X500. The resolution figures describe different sensor output counts; they do not establish which phone takes better photos. Sensor size, lens and stabilization, image processing, and performance in varied lighting all matter, and the cited coverage does not provide a controlled side-by-side camera test. Choose based on verified regional camera specifications and independent sample comparisons rather than megapixels alone.

What software and regional details should you check?

vivo Global lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6 for the X300. The cited X500 coverage does not state its software version or regional interface. Software and hardware configurations can vary by market, so verify the specific country’s product page or seller listing rather than assuming a China configuration applies globally. vivo Global’s X300 specifications

Availability reporting for the X500 has differed: 91mobiles still labels it “Upcoming,” while Cashify and Android Central published launch coverage in September 2026. For this comparison, Cashify’s September 22 report describes a China launch but says there was no confirmed India launch or price at that date. That does not establish availability in other markets or prove what may have changed after that report.

Which one should you choose?

  • Consider the X300 if you want specifications published by vivo Global, a smaller listed screen, documented wired and wireless charging, and defined memory/storage options. Confirm the battery figure and configuration for your region.
  • Consider the X500 if its reported 6.59-inch 144Hz display and 7,500mAh battery are priorities, and you can verify an official regional specification and price before buying.
  • Wait to compare prices if you are shopping outside China: the cited material does not confirm the X500’s India price, or an official market-specific price elsewhere. Compare local listings only when both phones’ configuration, taxes, and sale date are clear.
