The vivo X300 FE is the smaller option, with a dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera and 40W wireless charging. The POCO X8 Pro has the larger screen and advertises faster 100W wired charging. Both are listed with a 6500 mAh typical-capacity battery. There is no reliable single price winner without fixing the country, storage configuration and date of comparison.

Which phone is smaller and easier to handle?
The vivo X300 FE has the smaller listed display: 6.31 inches versus 6.59 inches for the POCO X8 Pro. vivo also lists a footprint of 150.83 × 71.76 mm and a weight of 191–192 g, depending on color. The cited POCO global page gives its display size, but not dimensions or weight in the reviewed lines, so a complete physical-size comparison requires checking the specification page for the buyer’s market.

On listed rear-camera hardware, the X300 FE has the more versatile setup: alongside its main and ultra-wide cameras, it includes a dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. POCO’s global product material lists a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide, without a dedicated telephoto camera in that list. This is a hardware distinction, not proof that one phone produces better photos overall.

vivo also lists a 50 MP front camera, compared with 20 MP for POCO. Resolution alone does not establish selfie quality. The X300 FE page additionally describes support for vivo’s ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, aimed at distant subjects such as performers or action. Check local availability and whether the accessory is sold separately before treating it as part of the phone’s value.
How do their displays compare?
The POCO X8 Pro has the larger listed panel, at 6.59 inches, while the vivo X300 FE is 6.31 inches. Their listed resolutions are 2756 × 1268 and 2640 × 1216 respectively; both specifications include refresh rates up to 120 Hz, while vivo also lists a 1 Hz lower limit.

Brightness figures should not be read as a direct head-to-head result. vivo Qatar lists 5000 nits as local peak brightness; POCO advertises 3500 nits over 25% of the display area. The manufacturers describe different conditions, and the figures do not establish equivalent brightness measurements.

Both manufacturers list a 6500 mAh typical-capacity battery. That shared nominal figure does not establish equal battery life, which also depends on usage and other factors.

POCO advertises 100W wired HyperCharge, compared with vivo’s listed 90W wired FlashCharge. These are advertised charging modes, not comparable measured charge times. vivo says wireless charging depends on compatible equipment, and POCO notes that the adapter included in the box varies by local seller.
Do the processors make one phone faster?
The X300 FE lists Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while the X8 Pro lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500-Ultra. Those names identify different chip platforms, but they are not enough to establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. The cited specifications do not provide a common independent test for a performance ranking.

What is the price difference?
No defensible universal price difference follows from these specifications. Prices depend on country, memory and storage tier, taxes, current offers and sometimes what is included in the box. To compare fairly, use official or authorized listings for both phones in the same market, match storage as closely as possible, account for taxes and bundled accessories, and record the date. A price without those details can mislead rather than identify a better-value phone.
