The vivo X300 FE is the better fit if you want a smaller phone, the higher-tier chipset listed for it, wireless charging, or compatibility with an optional telephoto extender. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro gives you a substantially larger display and Nothing’s advertised 140x ultra zoom. There is no reliable single price gap in the available figures: they come from different markets and sources, so compare local prices for the same storage tier.

These are manufacturer specifications and third-party listings, not results from matched testing. Which phone is easier to handle, and which has the bigger screen?
The X300 FE’s 6.31-inch display makes it the smaller option; vivo India lists its thickness at 7.99mm and weight at 191g. The Nothing’s 6.83-inch display is better suited to readers who prioritize a more expansive viewing area. Those diagonal measurements are the clearest size distinction in the available specifications; they do not by themselves establish one-handed comfort, since hand size and case choice matter.

How do their chipsets and configurations compare?
vivo’s Qatar specification page names Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and lists 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. For Nothing, 91mobiles lists Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and an 8GB/128GB configuration; the Nothing US store selection reviewed was 8GB/128GB. These listings put the vivo configuration ahead on paper for chipset tier, RAM, and available storage options in the cited pages, but they are not a substitute for equivalent-configuration benchmarks or testing.
Regional variants can differ. Confirm the exact model number, memory, storage, and network bands offered by the seller in your country before buying. Sources: vivo Qatar specifications, Nothing US product page, and 91mobiles comparison.
What do the camera and zoom specifications mean?
vivo India lists a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and 8MP ultra-wide rear camera, plus a 50MP front camera. It describes the telephoto camera as offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. vivo also identifies its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 as a compatible, separately purchased accessory with 200mm-equivalent reach; check local compatibility and availability before treating it as part of the phone package. Nothing’s US product page advertises “World’s first 140x ultra zoom.” That is Nothing’s marketing claim about its ultra-zoom range, not an independently verified ranking or a claim of 140x optical zoom. Optical zoom and a maximum digital or marketed zoom figure describe different things; a larger maximum number alone does not prove greater detail or better image quality.
On these specifications, the Nothing has the higher listed optical zoom figure, while the vivo offers the optional extender accessory. Without comparative photo testing under the same conditions, neither set of figures establishes which phone produces better images. Sources: 91mobiles comparison and Nothing US product page.
How do battery and charging differ?
vivo Qatar lists a 6500mAh typical battery capacity, up to 90W wired charging, and 40W wireless charging. vivo notes that actual charging power varies with use and that wireless charging requires compatible vivo or iQOO hardware. Its rated capacity is lower than the typical-capacity figure, so do not treat 6500mAh as the rated figure. Source: vivo Qatar specifications.

91mobiles lists a 5400mAh battery, 50W wired charging, and no wireless charging for the Nothing comparison configuration. Those are third-party figures; check official specifications for the exact regional variant. Battery capacity and charging wattage do not determine real-world endurance or charging time on their own. Source: 91mobiles comparison.
What do the water- and dust-resistance ratings tell you?
vivo lists IP68/IP69 for the X300 FE, while Nothing’s US product page lists IP65 for the Phone (4a) Pro. These are ingress-protection classifications, not promises that a phone is waterproof in every situation. vivo cautions that resistance is not permanent and may decline with use. Check warranty terms before exposing either device to liquids. Sources: vivo Qatar specifications, vivo India product page, and Nothing US product page.
What is the price difference?
The figures available do not provide a like-for-like price difference. They refer to different markets, sellers, configurations, and kinds of listing; subtracting them would be misleading.
| Market and source | vivo X300 FE | Nothing Phone (4a) Pro | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States, Nothing store | not stated (Nothing US store page) | $419, with $499 crossed out | Displayed US-store offer for the selected 8GB/128GB model when accessed in 2026; volatile, not a global price |
| India, 91mobiles comparison | ₹99,999 | ₹46,949 | Third-party India-market listing figures accessed in 2026; may change and are not established as equivalent retailer or promotional prices |
| Pakistan, vivo launch announcement | PKR 269,000 | not stated (vivo Pakistan launch announcement) | vivo’s announced launch price for the 12GB/256GB X300 FE in Pakistan in July 2026 |

For a useful local comparison, check both phones in the same country on the same date, match storage tiers, and compare the same tax and promotion basis at the same retailer—or label the retailers and offer terms clearly.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if you prefer a smaller display, want the listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 12GB RAM configurations, need wireless charging, or may use the separately sold compatible telephoto extender.
- Consider the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro if a larger screen, Nothing’s aluminium unibody design, or its advertised long-zoom range matters more to you.
- Decide by local price only after checking the same storage tier, seller, date, taxes, and discount status. The available price figures are not directly comparable.
These recommendations are based on listed features rather than hands-on tests. For support commitments, the market matters: vivo Pakistan’s July 2026 announcement states five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security maintenance for that market. That commitment should not be assumed to apply in other countries. Source: vivo Pakistan launch announcement.
