There is no reliable direct price difference to quote from the available listings: the vivo price is from India, while the Samsung prices are from the United States. For the buying decision, compare both phones in the same country, at the same storage tier, and with the same promotion and tax treatment. On specifications, the vivo X300 FE is the more compact phone with a higher stated battery capacity and 90W wired charging; the Galaxy S26+ has the larger, sharper display and Samsung’s software ecosystem.

Which phone should you buy?
Choose the vivo X300 FE if size and charging specifications matter most
The X300 FE is shorter and narrower than the S26+, and its 6.31-inch display makes it the more compact option. The listed weights are nearly identical, so the size difference is more about the phone’s footprint than a lighter device. Vivo also specifies a 6500 mAh typical battery and 90W wired charging. Those are hardware figures, not proof that it lasts longer in real use or charges faster under every condition.
Vivo’s regional product pages list 40W wireless charging, but the cited India specifications page does not show it. Verify wireless charging support for the exact model and market before buying. Vivo Spain also says the X300 FE is compatible with its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2; availability and exact SKU should be checked locally: vivo Spain X300 FE product page.

Choose the Galaxy S26+ if you want a larger, higher-resolution screen
The S26+ has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, compared with the vivo’s 6.31-inch panel. That makes Samsung the specification-led choice for a larger viewing area and higher resolution. Its rear camera configuration includes a 10MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom, alongside a 50MP main camera and 12MP ultrawide.
Samsung’s application processor depends on the market: its 2026 Global Newsroom launch material names Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy or Exynos 2600. Check the processor in the locally sold model rather than assuming all S26+ phones use the same chip. Samsung’s One UI experience may also suit buyers who already use its phones or connected devices, but the specifications here do not establish software-support duration or a quality advantage.
How the screen, size and build compare
The vivo measures 150.83 × 71.76 mm across its face; Samsung’s dimensions are 158.4 × 75.8 mm. The X300 FE is therefore the smaller handset, while Samsung’s 7.3 mm thickness is less than vivo’s 7.99 mm. Despite that difference in footprint and thickness, the listed weights are 191 g for vivo and 190 g for Samsung.

Samsung lists a 3120 × 1440 Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate. These specifications describe size, resolution and refresh behavior; they do not by themselves establish brightness, outdoor readability, color accuracy or viewing quality.
The manufacturer-listed protection ratings are IP68 and IP69 for the vivo and IP68 for the Samsung. An IP rating is not a guarantee against all water, dust or impact damage; follow the warranty terms and care guidance for the particular regional model.

Camera hardware: compare lenses, not megapixel totals
Both phones have a 50MP main camera, but their secondary cameras differ. Vivo lists a 50MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP wide-angle camera. Samsung lists a 10MP telephoto with 3× optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide. These figures identify camera hardware, but megapixel counts do not determine which phone takes better photos. If image quality is decisive, compare independent reviews and sample images for the exact regional models, especially for telephoto reach, low-light performance and video.

Vivo’s India specifications give the X300 FE a 6500 mAh typical capacity and 6350 mAh rated capacity, plus 90W wired charging. Samsung Global’s 2026 launch table lists 4900 mAh for the S26+. Battery capacity alone does not establish screen-on time or day-to-day runtime: display settings, network conditions, software and workload all affect use. No independent comparative battery test is established by these manufacturer figures.

For the S26+, check Samsung’s product page for your country for charging specifications. For the vivo, check the exact local SKU if wireless charging is important, since the India specification page cited here does not list the 40W wireless figure found on vivo regional pages.
Price difference: why the available listings cannot be compared directly
The verified listings are for different countries and currencies, so subtracting or converting them would not produce a meaningful local price difference. The vivo India Official E-Store listing showed ₹89,999 for the X300 FE 12GB+256GB and a struck-through MRP of ₹119,999. The Samsung US listing showed $1,099.99 for 256GB and $1,299.99 for 512GB; another Samsung US listing showed promotional prices of $799.99 and $999.99. These are page-specific figures, not a like-for-like price comparison, and listings, offers and stock can change.
To find the real difference where you plan to buy, compare official local listings for the same storage capacity and purchase type—such as unlocked versus carrier—then account for taxes and current promotions.
