Choose the vivo X300 E if you want the smaller listed display, the larger stated battery capacity, or a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. Choose the Xiaomi 17T Pro if you prefer a larger screen, Xiaomi’s advertised 5x Leica telephoto camera, or wireless charging. These are specification-based tradeoffs, not a measured verdict on camera quality, speed, or battery life.
Availability is an important qualifier: Vivo’s specifications and prices here are for the China model V2612A, while Xiaomi has official global and UK product pages. Check local stock, total price, warranty, return terms, exact model, and carrier compatibility before buying.

Choose Vivo for the smaller listed screen
The vivo X300 E has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, compared with 6.83 inches on the Xiaomi. That makes Vivo the more natural specification-based choice if you prefer a less large screen; the measurements alone do not establish a phone’s full body dimensions or one-handed comfort.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choose Xiaomi for more screen area
The Xiaomi 17T Pro’s 6.83-inch display gives it the larger listed viewing area, which may suit video, games, and reading if you value screen size over compactness. Both brands advertise 144Hz, but the claims are not equivalent in qualification: Vivo says 144Hz is available only in some games and not in non-game applications, while Xiaomi describes its display as 144Hz. Neither claim proves that every app or use mode runs at that rate.
Vivo also advertises up to 5000-nit local peak brightness and 1800-nit global peak brightness. These are manufacturer figures; they should not be treated as a direct brightness comparison with Xiaomi because the sources do not establish measurements under matching conditions.

Which camera setup better matches your use?
Vivo lists more detail for the selfie camera
Vivo specifies a 50MP autofocus front camera, alongside a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and 8MP ultrawide. The product overview also advertises Zeiss camera features. If a high-resolution autofocus selfie camera is a priority, Vivo has the more explicit specification in the cited material.
Xiaomi highlights a 5x Leica telephoto
Xiaomi’s global product page highlights a Leica-branded triple-camera system, including a 50MP main camera and 5x telephoto. That makes the Xiaomi the specification-led pick for someone specifically seeking an advertised 5x telephoto option.

Camera resolution, branding, and zoom claims do not establish which phone produces better photos or video. The reviewed manufacturer pages do not provide a matched camera test, so choose based on the camera features you expect to use rather than an unsupported overall winner.
Battery capacity is not battery-life evidence
Vivo lists 7200mAh typical capacity and 7015mAh rated capacity for the X300 E. Xiaomi lists a 7000mAh typical-capacity silicon-carbon battery for the 17T Pro. On stated typical capacity, Vivo’s figure is larger, but capacity alone cannot predict endurance: screen settings, radio conditions, software, and workload affect how long a phone lasts. No matched battery test is established by these specifications.

How charging differs
Vivo says the X300 E supports charging from a charger with a maximum output of 90W. Xiaomi advertises 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging for the 17T Pro. The Xiaomi is the specification-based choice if wireless charging matters; the listed wattages do not establish real-world charge times, and accessories or regional configurations can affect charging.

Compare the configuration you will actually buy

Verify availability, warranty, and network support
Vivo identifies the X300 E as China model V2612A and lists its launch in July 2026. Its cited specifications page gives China recommended prices, not current offers elsewhere. The reviewed official material does not establish availability outside China. Xiaomi has official global and UK pages, but those pages do not confirm stock, pricing, or warranty in every country.
Xiaomi cautions that connectivity and network bands may vary with regional availability and local operator support. Before importing either phone or buying a regional variant, verify the exact model’s supported bands with your carrier, along with local warranty coverage and the seller’s return policy. Do not assume a phone will work fully on every network because its name matches a global listing.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Pick the vivo X300 E if you want the smaller listed display, prioritize the larger stated typical battery capacity, or value its specified 50MP autofocus front camera—and can confirm a suitable local sale and support arrangement.
- Pick the Xiaomi 17T Pro if a larger screen, advertised 5x Leica telephoto, or wireless charging best fits your priorities.
- Compare locally before deciding if price, warranty, network compatibility, or performance is decisive. The cited material does not establish a fair local price comparison or a tested overall performance winner.
