China’s launch announcement, dated June 26, 2026, said preorders were open and retail sales would begin July 1, 2026. The specification page lists these suggested retail prices: CNY 7,999 for 12GB+256GB; CNY 8,999 for 12GB+512GB; CNY 9,999 for 16GB+512GB; and CNY 10,999 for 16GB+1TB. The launch announcement also mentions a limited black-and-gold collector configuration at CNY 11,299. These are launch-time China prices, not current India pricing.

What is known about the cameras and foldable software?
Camera hardware and teleconverter
vivo China lists a 200MP ZEISS main camera, a 50MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera, and a 50MP ZEISS ultra-wide camera. The China launch announcement also names the vivo ZEISS teleconverter G2 and describes it as equivalent to 200mm. Those are manufacturer descriptions; the cited material does not establish camera output quality, the accessory’s current retail availability, India compatibility, or its price.
China software features
For the China model, vivo describes OriginOS 6 Fold’s Atomic Workbench as supporting up to five windows arranged serially or four running apps tiled in parallel. The launch announcement also describes AI file management, meeting assistance, and remote PC-agent features. These China-market software details should not be treated as confirmed features of the India listing, which names OriginOS 7.

Huang Tao, vivo vice president, said at the June 26, 2026 China launch: “折叠屏的第一次进化，是展开一块大屏幕，折叠屏的第二次进化，应该是展开一个AI工作台，完成一个复杂大任务。” In English: “The first evolution of foldable screens was unfolding a large display; the second evolution should be unfolding an AI workstation to complete a complex task.” This is vivo’s stated product vision, not independent evidence of how well the features work.
What a hands-on review still needs to establish
Official specifications can identify the listed color, displays, processor, battery capacity, and charging rating, but they cannot substitute for device observations. The cited official pages and launch announcement do not provide independent benchmark results, battery-endurance measurements, durability testing, or comparative camera figures.

- How the hinge feels, how visible the crease is in use, and how comfortable the phone is to hold open or closed.
- How quickly the India-market software responds and which multitasking features are actually available on that version.
- Real-world camera performance, battery endurance, and charging time under stated test conditions.
Until those observations are available, the most defensible description is an India-listed foldable configuration with a published Nebula Teal color option—not a verified assessment of its in-person finish or day-to-day performance.
