The vivo T3 Ultra stands out for its higher listed display resolution and Dimensity 9200+ chipset; the vivo V50 offers a larger rated battery, faster charging and a 50 MP autofocus ultra-wide camera. That ₹11,000 gap compares different configurations, not equivalent variants.

Which phone is better for performance and display?
Processor
The T3 Ultra uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, while the V50 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Those names identify different chip platforms, but they do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, runs cooler, or performs better in games. The official product pages do not provide a controlled, direct comparison.

Display
Both phones have large AMOLED displays with a listed refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The T3 Ultra’s 2800 × 1260 resolution is higher than the V50’s 2392 × 1080, while their diagonal sizes are close: 6.78 inches and 6.77 inches, respectively. The specifications show a resolution advantage for the T3 Ultra, but do not by themselves establish which display looks better in person.
How do the battery and charging specifications compare?
The V50 has the larger rated battery, at 6000 mAh, and higher listed charging power, at 90W. The T3 Ultra is rated at 5500 mAh and 80W. These are capacity and charging-power specifications, not measurements of comparative battery life or charging time. Actual endurance varies with settings, network conditions and workload; the official material reviewed does not establish a controlled head-to-head result.
vivo advertises T3 Ultra playback and gaming figures—including 65+ hours of music streaming, 9+ hours of PUBG gaming, 22+ hours of YouTube streaming and 13+ hours of Instagram short-video playback—under its own stated testing conditions. These are manufacturer claims, not independent tests, and should not be compared directly with real-world results or another phone’s figures without matching test methods.

What are the camera differences?
The clearest listed rear-camera distinction is the ultra-wide camera: the T3 Ultra has an 8 MP ultra-wide, while the V50 lists a 50 MP autofocus ultra-wide with a 119.4° field of view. Both list a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, and both list a 50 MP autofocus front camera.
The V50’s higher ultra-wide megapixel count does not prove that it takes better photos. Sensor, lens, processing and shooting conditions also affect image quality; the official specifications do not establish a camera-test winner between these models.

| Phone and configuration | Displayed price |
|---|---|
| T3 Ultra, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage | ₹37,999 |
| T3 Ultra, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage | ₹39,999 |
| V50, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage | ₹48,999 |
The V50 store page also lists an 8GB+256GB configuration, but the reviewed listing did not establish a price for that variant. The ₹11,000 difference between ₹37,999 and ₹48,999 is therefore a comparison between the listed 8GB+256GB T3 Ultra and 12GB+512GB V50—not a like-for-like premium. Check the T3 Ultra store listing and V50 store listing for the exact configuration and current price before buying; store prices and availability can change.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the T3 Ultra if its higher listed display resolution or Dimensity 9200+ platform is more important to you, and the configuration and price currently available suit your budget.
- Choose the V50 if you value its larger rated battery, higher listed charging power, 50 MP autofocus ultra-wide camera, or its higher listed IP rating combination.
- Compare exact variants before deciding: the observed store prices involve different RAM and storage configurations, so the headline ₹11,000 gap does not settle which phone is better value.
The V50 product page lists Funtouch OS 15 with Android 15, while the T3 Ultra page lists Funtouch OS 14. These are the software versions named in the product specifications; the pages reviewed do not establish current installed versions for every unit or either phone’s update policy.
vivo lists IP68 for the T3 Ultra and IP68/IP69 for the V50. These ratings are not a guarantee that a phone is waterproof in every circumstance.
