Yes. Verizon announced on October 14, 2026, that customers on eligible mobile, 5G Home, LTE Home, Verizon Home Internet Lite, and qualifying Fios plans can receive Google AI Pro at no extra cost for six months. After the promotion, the perk costs $10 per month unless you cancel.
Who qualifies for the six-month perk
Eligibility is tied to the exact Verizon plan, not simply to being a Verizon customer. Verizon lists these eligible mobile plans:
- Simplicity
- Unlimited Ultimate
- Unlimited Ultimate 1.0
- Unlimited Plus
- Unlimited Welcome
Eligible home service includes specified 5G Home and LTE Home plans, Verizon Home Internet Lite, and eligible Fios Home Internet plans. Fios Classic standalone internet is excluded. Verizon generally limits the benefit to one perk per eligible mobile line or one per Fios account.

What you receive
Google AI Pro combines Google One’s 5 TB storage tier with Gemini Advanced and Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and other supported Google services. A Google AI Pro family manager can share the subscription with up to five additional people, provided the family group meets Google’s requirements.

How to activate Google AI Pro in My Verizon
- Open the perk offer. During enrollment, add Google AI Pro, or sign in to My Verizon and open Products & plan perks for mobile service. Fios customers should look under Recommended perks.
- Choose the Google AI Pro perk. Confirm that the offer is attached to the qualifying line or home account before continuing.
- Use a personal Google Account. Sign in with the account that should receive the 5 TB storage and Gemini benefits. Do not use a Workspace or child account.
- Finish within 90 days. Verizon says activation must be completed within 90 days of purchase. If you do not activate it, Verizon automatically cancels the offer.
- Review billing. Billing begins when the perk is ordered and activated. The subscription then renews monthly at $10 after the six-month promotion unless you cancel.
Check existing Google One billing before enrolling
The Verizon perk generally requires you to cancel a directly billed or third-party paid Google One subscription before registration. Existing promotional value does not transfer to the Verizon subscription.

Apple App Store billing is a special risk: an Apple-billed Google One subscription can remain active while the Verizon subscription starts, creating two separate charges. Check where your current Google One payment is managed and cancel the Apple subscription through Apple if necessary. Keep confirmation of the cancellation and verify the active subscription in your Google account.
What happens if you cancel or change Verizon plans
You can cancel the perk in My Verizon. Verizon says cancellation ends Google AI Pro access immediately and prorates the charge. Switching to a non-qualifying Verizon plan or canceling Verizon service ends the Google AI Pro subscription provided through Verizon.

If Verizon removes an unactivated offer after the 90-day window, it refunds the remaining days in the current billing cycle. Because a plan change can terminate access, download or move important files before leaving an eligible plan and check which Google account owns the storage.

The promotional access is free for six months for eligible customers under Verizon’s October 14, 2026 announcement. It is not a permanent free subscription: the standard Verizon price is $10 per month after the promotional period, with automatic monthly renewal until canceled. The safest approach is to set a calendar reminder before month six, then decide whether the 5 TB storage and Gemini tools justify continuing.
